    My husband and I like Classico Tomato & Basil (not the sweet one). Bertolli is a Unilever brand -- they are good with labeling as well.

    Sounds normal. I went through ups and downs when I cut out all gluten. I had days in the beginning where I was really tired and quiet to days where I was my normal talkative self. The first couple of days are the worst. Should get better during the next 1-2 weeks.

    nikki2008 -- To be honest I have never heard of that brand before. I would recommend calling or e-mailing them. I like Classico - Tomato & Basil. All of the red and white sauces that Classico make are gluten free. Best of Luck

    buckeyenc5 -- I've tried a few gluten free cereals and my favorite one is Nature's Path Organic Corn Flakes. I get Erewhon Organic Crispy Brown Rice gluten free cereal sometimes for a change. Also use it with Kraft Jet-Puffed marshmallows to make marshmallow crispy treats for something sweet every couple months.

    My husband doesn't have to eat gluten free so he makes what he wants for breakfast/lunch and we make gluten free dinners.     I use Banana Boat. They are really nice if you call them they will tell you which ones are not gluen free. I called last summer and I think it is just the self tanning ones. I use the Banana Boat Sport and the Sunscreen Stick (easy to apply to face). Have a great time at Walt Disney World!

    Thank you for all of the input. My Centrum is the older formula I guess b/c it has the Vitamin C 60mg and doesn't have the "new formula" on the front label. The health food store didn't have a good selection and the one that looked good had barley in it.     I want to get into baking different breads and cookies. What is the difference between Xanthan Gum and gluten free Corn Starch? They are both used as thickeners so can I use the corn starch instead of the xanthan gum? Or is corn starch just mainly for soups and gravies? Thank you

    On the Allergen charts they show what the "item" does not have. Yes, you still have to put into consideration CC with what you are eating. The item is prepared in the same kitchen that is preparing things with flour etc so when they are using the flour it goes in the air and lands on other items possibly.     My husband and I have used in the past Pro-Pet Natural Oatmeal Shampoo (can get at Target or WalMart). After I went gluten free though I was iffy on using the Oatmeal on our dogs b/c when they shake and the water/soap gets on you. We switched over to Hartz brand -- Infusions Moisturizing Vitamin Shampoo. So far it seems to be good for both of our dogs...
