    As of tomorrow, participating Starbucks in the U.S. and Canada will be adding new "healthy" gluten free snacks. These include granola from Two Moms in the Raw and several cookie varieties from Lucy's. Michael

    Just be careful of Nathan's cheddar-flavored hot dogs, at least for the moment. All of those packages I spotted at a local market had the words "Gluten Free" crossed out in black marker; the ingredients listed gluten.

    Bertucci's has unveiled a new Open Original Shared Link in conjunction with GIG and the Gluten Free Restaurant Awareness Program. No pizza but lots of other items including dessert.

    As someone who can eat wheat (my 9-y-o son is a celiac), I can say that Papa John's pizza is awful. I know that Pizza Pizza in Canada has gluten-free pizza chainwide, so the idea of serving and delivery safe gluten-free pizza can be done. Will be interesting to see if one of the nationwide pizza chains in the U.S. - none of which compare to local pizza parlors...

    The Philadelphia Inquirer dedicated more than one full page to an Open Original Shared Link in Thursday's paper on gluten-free foods. Good publicity!

    A new gluten-free bakery will be opening in Center City Philadelphia called Sweet Freedom Bakery. Their baked goods will be vegan and allergen-friendly. They're planning to open in November.

    I will be attending the event. I went last year, and it was great. There was a lot of food sampling from Philly-area restaurants as well as regional and national vendors. Between the food and coupons, it was worth the price of admission. It's also great to be with a ton of other people who eat gluten free. PM me with any questions. Michael

    I had a differing view on the tortillas - As the lunchmaker-in-chief in our household during the school year, I try to vary my older son's gluten-free lunches so that they don't get boring. I've made sandwich wraps for him in the past, but the brown-rice tortillas I used were not pliable and didn't hold up well long after being warmed in the microwave...

    I've read that Morimoto can serve gluten-free, but I would call ahead to confirm this.

    The GM Sprinkles Cookie Crisp cereal contains no gluten-containing ingredients (no WBRO), although it is not labeled as gluten free. A Google search of "sprinkles cookie crisp gluten free" should turn up the ingredient list.
