  7. I am Catholic. I have had much resentment in the last year or so due to the Catholic Church's unwillingness to waver on the gluten-free host. I haven't been to church for months. My half sister has just been admitted to hospital with her second nervous breakdown and there is a huge meeting tomorrow morning with her doctors and I am trying to arm my dad and his wife with as much info as possible to show the link and to PLEASE!!!!! test for celiac! ...

  18. Well, she went through the operation with flying colours! There were no complications, i.e. she did not have to have a bag.... The doctor removed the part damaged by the diverticulitis and also he said there was a section right above the diverticulitis that had "some kind of stricture" but it didn't quite look like cancer, he said actually he wasn't sure...
  19. Can't get much more definitive that that! Even though I am one of those who has the confirmed bloodwork/biopsy diagnosis, I have come to the realization that the conventional testing for celiac is letting a whole society down - half of the world is gluten intolerant and no test yet shows that.....

  23. I am so happy you are seeing results! It's amazing, isn't it? I would suggest investing in a bread machine and make your own. You can buy the bread mixtures. It is soooo much cheaper! Hugs. Karen

  25. Now that is very interesting...... I have chronic anemia, so much so to the point they are considering systemic iron replacement..... I wonder......
