    One of the first reactions I get is almost immediate (when I ingest gluten). My throat starts to burn, and it get really hard to swallow. I know then that I am in trouble! Karen

    Hopefully, the day was taken up by making arrangements to pick up his girlfriend at the airport and her getting his stuff from his mom's, he just didn't have the time to get to the library to post anything..... Hope we hear soon though...... Karen

    Steve, I SOOOOO wish I was there to help you through this....... You have to focus on the task at hand. You know that you have been glutened, and the effects that it has on you will only be temporary, and the emotional rollercoaster ride will soon be over.     In my dreams! Yah, right...... This is the guy who totally forgot our anniversary, then for Christmas, gave me a card saying it was good for a day at the spa, but that seems to have been forgotten, and for Valentine's Day, I actually got a card this year, usually he doesn't acknowledge it at all...... Hence him being in the doghouse now for months.....

    Yep, had to clean it up..... I went through 4 containers of Lysol Wipes wiping everything down.....

    I got home from picking up the girls from music classes and dropping my mom off. Terry had gotten home by this point (he wasn't home yet when we left). Anyway, the kitchen was a disaster!!! Today is Pancake Tuesday, and he was making pancakes for his class, and there was pancake mix powder EVERYWHERE! All over the counter. the stove, the sink, the fridge...

    That is absolutely negligent that she had to wait that long for an IV when she was dehydrated! I remember when Eileen (my oldest dd, who is now 13) was 8 years old, she got sick in the morning, was sick both ends every 10 minutes all day long, and by 7 pm, her eyes sunk right in her face and she looked "off"...... I rushed her up to the after hours clinic...

    I can't find any on www.glutenfreedrugs.com I got glutened two days ago, and it has now moved into my joints and gums. My gums are all swollen and incredibly sore. Is there anything gluten-free I can use? Thanks! Karen

    You had my hopes up there for a second, but when I went in there, the list indeed say Rolos, but the list was last updated August 2000. It's almost 7 years out of date..... I went to the Nestle's website, sure enough, wheat is listed right on the ingredients in the website, but not on the packaging....

    Regarding the salad dressings, I stick strictly with Kraft, as they will list gluten clearly on their labels. I also use the Kraft BBQ sauces too. As for the other foods, I don't eat them, so I can't comment on those...... Karen

    Forget it, I already know.... I ate them about 1 hour ago, thinking they were gluten free. I am definitely having a reaction, so I don't even have to wait for an answer..... How stupid can I be??????????????????????????????????????????????????????? See, even us veterans make stupid mistakes........................

    Hi everyone. As most of you know, my mom was hospitalized back in October with a bout of diverticulitis. This morning, she had a colonoscopy.
