    Forgot to mention, if your daughter likes Kraft Dinner, the noodles are out of the question but the cheese packet is gluten-free, so just substitute the pasta noodle for a gluten-free one, and use the cheese packet from the regular package.     Were they pure peanuts in the shells? Were they packaged/processed? Some peanuts have flavouring/coating on them that may contain gluten. Other than that, it sounds exactly like when my mom has bouts of diverticulitis. That's the kind of pain she experiences. There is a link between diverticulitis and celiac...... Hope you are feeling better soon...

    Look at it this way: You do have Celiac. It may not be to the point that it is registering on the tests yet, but you still have it. That's the way I would look at it.....

    I don't have an answer for you other than the fact that whenever I have any misgivings about food and the safety of eating it, I always err on the side of caution and don't consume it.     I find that when you use the words "toxic" or "poison", it gets the point across better. After all, to celiacs, that's exactly what gluten is. Would you knowingly ingest rat poison or any other toxic substance? Nope. Karen

I have been totally, 100% gluten-free for over 3 years now, and my bloodwork has come down from way over 100 to the last result of 13 (within normal range), but the last biopsy last August showed complete villous atrophy still.
