  1. It's at the very beginning of the show, like the first minute or two......
  2. It was sooo awesome! Canadians get to watch the show one day ahead of the Americans, so it will be on tomorrow's US show on CBS. For those who know the show, Phyllis gets sentenced to six years in jail, so she is mentioning to Nick to watch over Daniel because he "has a gluten allergy and it's kinda hard"........ AWESOME! EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS! ...
  3. It's funny - in our family, we like to be punctual! My sister had both her daughters right on their due date! I had Eileen one day before and Rhiannon one day before. The boys don't count - they were nine weeks early! Karen
  4. Hey Steve! You know around here your 2c are worth their weight in gold!!!! Hugs Karen
  5. Don't worry - we're all in the same boat. I did the same thing with my Roc Anti-Wrinkle cream. Didn't realize it had gluten. Karen
  6. I'm not sure. You can try it though! Karen
  7. That I will never understand! Considering the number of variables and the fact that so much is still unknown about this disease, I don't understand how anyone could discriminate due to lack of "official" diagnosis! Hugs Karen
  8. OMG! Steve! Don't leave us again! We have missed you terribly! Hope you are hanging in there! If you need a shoulder, you know we are here for you! Hugs Karen
  9. Please note I have ammended the questions to clarify a bit more. I don't distinguish between "official" diagnoses or "unofficial" diagnoses. I also don't differentiate between actual celiac disease or gluten intolerence. To me, my stance has always been we are all in the same boat. I didn't even realize that the way I worded the questions might bring...
  10. I would like to get an idea about numbers with regards to the number of people who have been diagnosed after years of misdiagnoses and those who have been diagnosed in a timely manner. Thank you in advance for your responses! Karen
  11. Heaven forbid it be a gluten-free foot!
  12. Chris is one of the most level-headed, articulate, helpful human beings I have had the pleasure to get to know on this forum. Unbalanced is definitely a word I would not even remotely consider when describing him..... Me on the other hand....... Luv That wild, wacky Crazy Canuck!
  13. OMG! This chick is apparently quite a piece of work, ain't she? She sounds to me like the spoiled rich kid who has totally lost touch with reality when it comes to the real world and those smucks (us) who have to survive in it. It kind of reminds me of the Paris Hilton, Nikki Hilton, Nicole Ritchie, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears camp. That little...
  14. I went into our local Kelsey's about a month ago after I heard about Kelsey giving gluten-free options. I talked to the manager who, although was an extremely nice man, knew absolutely nothing about the gluten free stuff, never heard of it, and was frantically trying to download the info from their corporate website, but couldn't find it! Needless to...
  15. I will give Allison a chance to read Ms. Stewart's comments before I answer. Chris, all I can say to you and your response to her: AWESOME DUDE!!!!!! YOU ROCK! Luv Karen
  16. Julie, I just wanted to let you know that you have every right to have "one of those days" where it literally feels like a losing battle. Believe me, I have many of those days myself. I keep on searching for "good news" articles through the medical journals that show that they are making headway with not only refractory celiac sprue (me), but celiac...
  17. He will be.... Length: 20 in. Weight: 7lbs. 7oz. Time of Birth: 4 p.m. Labor hours: 7 hours Natural Due Date: I think he will be born on August 23rd. I don't think labour will be too long for her - I think he's going to kick his way outta there!
  18. Open Original Shared Link
  19. I believe it would be such a win/win situation for the farmers..... The farmers that grow corn would thrive because if things are made with corn based flour, the need for corn would explode. The farmers who grow wheat would thrive growing it for the fuel industry..... Ahhhh, if only...........
  20. I firmly believe that the Canadian Wheat Board does everything in it's power "behind the scenes" to quash any information about gluten intolerance/celiac disease. This is an interesting article about the Cdn government trying to take away some of it's power: Open Original Shared Link My dream (I know, I know, pipe dreams........ ) is that...
