  1. Caramilk is also okay. If you are in Canada, Smarties are not gluten free, but in the US, they are gluten free. M&M's in Canada are gluten free. Karen
  2. I'm telling ya, the people who make this stuff really know what they are doing - in the box, there is a little bottle holder with sticky tape on the back of it for you to conveniently hang the bottle just inside of the bathroom vanity cupboard for quick access! These folks must be celiac! Karen
  3. LOL! It's going to be like my American Express - NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT!!!!
  4. Okay, so everybody knows that having celiac disease really stinks in more ways than one I don't know about anyone else, but what comes out of me is more toxic than sludge from a sewage treatment plant. Send me to Afghanistan and I would be able to singlehandedly flush out Osama Bin Laden! I won't even mention what mornings are like here with...
  5. Does anyone know if it is available in Canada????? Karen
  6. Aveeno is a definite no-no. Avena is latin for oats.......

  8. I looked for that flavour up here because I heard people rave about it - it's not available up here as far as I know.....
  9. It also happened to me. I remember once in my early 20's, I was at work and all of a sudden the whole right side of my face went numb. Again, no drooping though. Again, I was told it was Bell's Palsy.......
  10. I really couldn't give a rat's behind how the gluten-free diet gets more popular, just that IT DOES! The more popular, the more the demand, the more the variety and the lower the price! The added plus is that all those people who jump on the gluten-free fad diet, will end up feeling 10 times better, realize their gluten intolerance, and stay on the diet...
  11. I found this quite interesting: Open Original Shared Link Karen
  12. What a pathetic statement! I can think of much more important things to do to save the environment!
  13. Hi Jin! You are our second Wiccan! Rusla is also Wiccan! Karen
  14. See, even ducks have Celiac disease! Karen
  15. but I haven't been able to find them anywhere up here in Canada. Are there any Canadians that can tell me if they have found them up here? I want to start putting Connor on more gluten-free items slowly, but I have to do it where he really doesn't realize at first. I can use gluten-free noodles, but you can't replace the taste of KD cheese packets! Thanks...
  16. I use LifeSource Tamari Oriental Ginger Soy Sauce. It has an excellent taste! I haven't even seen the other ones around up here, so I really don't have much choice anyway..... Karen
  17. When our computer blew up yesterday morning, along with it up in smoke went the address book of all my e-mail addresses. I am starting from scratch. To all my friends I converse with, please e-mail me so I can save your addy again, can't contact you cuz, hey, I DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT YOUR ADDRESSES ARE!! lol! Hugs. Me
  18. I also have had two laparoscopies for endo. Was diagnosed in my early 20's, and told I would have a 50/50 chance of ever being able to conceive. Got married at 29 and we decided to start trying right away as it might take us a couple of years. Four months later I was pregnant. I now have four wonderful children, including twin 6 yr old boys! Sometimes...
  19. Hey Jess! Here is a link to another thread about this recently...... Open Original Shared Link I have had resentment issues for a long time over this and just recently got up the nerve to approach the priest about it. He turned out to be really cool about it! Karen
  20. Thanks guys! Computer died yesterday morning, so we just got a new one up and running and the first place I go to is here of course! Hugs. Karen
  21. The Great Canadian Superstore in Oshawa has an extensive choice of El Peto stuff, so I don't have to order on-line. The one thing I can tell you that is my favourite gluten-free item though, is Kinnikinnick Tapioca Engligh Muffins. They are purchased frozen, so look in the frozen section for the health section items..... Keep them frozen and take them...
  22. Hi Kathleen! Welcome to the forum! Where in Canada are you? I am in Bowmanville (about 1 hour outside Toronto), Ontario. There are lots of options for us. Most Loblaws Superstores, Great Canadian Superstores, and many A&P's now carry gluten free foods. The Loblaws I shop at has a whole aisle! Also, if you can't find these products in stores...
