Are her bm's okay? If it was bladder, as I said, usually it would really sting to go pee. Kidneys usually hurt more along the back than the front. Karen -

Well, in my experience, if was a UTI (urinary tract infection), it would really hurt/sting for her to pee. Where she point to in regards to the pain is important. Is it both sides? Front or back? Karen -

OMG! That's hilarious! They certainly aren't stupid, are they??? (Although my current golden retriever Buddy could be in the running for that title..... ) We used to have a maltese Nickie and another golden Cinci (short for Cincinnati, my husband is a Reds fan). Anyway, when we would let both of the out in the backyard to do their business, Cinci... -

Wow! That's a really difficult one! I can understand the legal implications of going over the line, but the human side of you can't help but reach out to someone who so desperately needs it. If you didn't have that urge, then I would worry! When I think back at my school days, there is one teacher in particular who literally changed my life (I had him... -

Awhile back, I suggested that we do a letter writing campagn to the insurance companies to force the doctors to check for it more..... Here are the letters I made: I also made a letter to send to celiac associations asking them to invite the insurance companies to their next conference: If you want to send these out to insurance companies... -

My bloodwork initially was well over 100. Subsequent biopsy showed complete villous atrophy. This was in 2003 (or 2004, can't remember). Latest bloodwork this year my number was 13, well within range. Subsequent biopsy showed absolutely no improvement in my villi. Totally flat. I have been gluten-fre for over 3 years now and bloodwork has proven... -

Yesterday, when I was at my annual physical with my family doctor, she had a resident with her so I definitely was an awesome case study! Well, when I was giving a rundown of my history to the resident, I mentioned that once I went gluten free, both my anxiety (panic attacks) and heart palpitations went away. My family doctor said she couldn't understand...

Don't know NY very well, I am originally from Toronto, but now live about 1 hr east of Toronto. The only time I have been to NY is when I played baseball. We used to play tournaments on the weekend, and after playing 3 games on a Saturday, we would go home, shower and change and then drive down to Buffalo to party for the night at a place called "The Library... -

Hi Tanya, I hope you didn't take any offense to my pointing out the dangers of walkers. It was in no way meant to imply that you were not being other than a totally loving parent who has your child's best interest at heart. But if I didn't voice my concern, and something did end up happening, I would have never forgiven myself. I know you know what... -
I am up through the night on a regular basis, as my collagenous colitis seems to be nocturnal and most active during the night. I love to go onto www.todaysparent.com, go into the forums, and check out what's going on in there. It's actually really entertaining. Especially the "News and Views" section, there are always really good debates going on...

Dear TCA! I am so wonderfully happy to hear the improvements Megan is making! Even coming through a cold with flying colours shows how much stronger she is getting! ARCHIVED Question Re Diverticulitis.....
Canadian Karen posted a topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Firstly, Mom is not celiac. She just got out of the hospital yesterday after being in there for 6 days after having another attacked of diverticulitis (her second in 1 1/2 years). While in the hospital, they realized just how bad her lungs are (life-long smoker). She has COPD. They said she has lost 90% use of her lungs. She obviously stopped smoking...
