I was having some of the same issues except I was getting rapid heart beat instead of sweating. I started taking betaine hcl. It seems to be helping with digestive issues. Might be worth a try.

I put tea tree oil in our shampoo. Just about a table spoon per bottle (shake well). It helps to keep ticks, lice, fleas and all the little nasties off of you. My daughter very long hair, I've been doing this since she started school. It seems that lice is epidemic level around here at times. She's never had any trouble. I also use it on my cats and dog... -

They say that to make an excuse for why they are so much larger. Has anyone else noticed how fat kids are getting? It's disturbing! You're likely eating much healthier than most of the people around you...more natural and more like what people are made to eat. The "food" that these kids are eating is NOT food. It's a food like substance. And it's obviously... -
ARCHIVED What's Your Blood Type?
Crimson replied to FoxersArtist's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
My husband, Daughter and I are all O+. I've actually looked in on this. Dr. D'Adamo has written several books based on blood type diets. I found the diet to be rather helpful to me. He does have a website: Open Original Shared Link He says that those that are non secreters (meaning you do not secrete your blood antigen into other body fluids... -

Ello, It looks to me as if you may be one of the IgA deficients. If the normal range is .9 and you're .88....I would do a bit of research on IgA defiencies. It would be quite important to know because if you are, and would ever need a blood transfusion or organ transplant, that would be taken into consideration because your body may react badly to blood... -

I haven't noticed if mine is related to coffee. I try to keep the coffee out. At times though I just can't help it. I've always loved coffee. But the sugar and creamer and what make it great...and none of them fair well with me. I'll have to pay attention next time and see if it connects. I hope you feel better! -
ARCHIVED Iga Deficiency = Negative Blood Test
Crimson replied to lcarter's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Thank you yet again! I'm beginning to feel a grand connection with your son. I hope he's a daydreamer. I've been doing my research. And as I've written before, I am a follower of the Blood Type Diet. I am a blood type 0+ Non Secreter. And this and my symptoms lead me to believe that I have celiac. Dr. D'Adamo's research (or the research that... -
I have issues with chicken that's not organic. Organic chicken is seemingly ok for me. I chalk that up to all the antibiotics, sterioids and the corn that they feed to them. The "regular" chicken tears me up! The only way I'll eat chicken now is if it's organic.

I'm wondering about this. Does anyone know if enterolab is able to show a deficiency in their tests on IgA??? -

I will likely be having the tests done soon. I do not have health insurance. (WV jobs are not that great at giving insurance. I stay at home with my daughter and do some work out of my home. So, I have to gather the extra money for this... I'm sure some can relate. Especially with the economy going like it is at the moment. I have rants about that. I will... -
ARCHIVED Tired Legs

I had leg pains from about the age of seven. Terrible pain in the hip joint that would radiate down to the knee and at times to my ankles. They did all kinds of tests, considered leg braces *I didn't stand "straight" my back would bend back more than normal kids, I guess) They decided it was growing pains and sent me home telling my mum to have me stand against... -

Thank you fedora! I was reading all the stuff on the genes on wiki and the enterolab site. It was also mentioned on here that a child that has been diagnosed is a match to my genes. It doesn't surprise me. It just makes me wonder if I SHOULD seek medical help. I am more of a natural remedy type of person. I've always done well with myself. This... -

Always use a straw? I'd be concerned too. It is after all on stamp glue, is it not? If it's for you child/ren...I'd make sure they KNOW that they NEED to always drink from a straw. Or you could just pack them a drink even milk that you know is safe. Supposing the child is young or is getting cc'd somewhere. -
ARCHIVED Why Am I So Unbelievably Tired?
Crimson replied to Nan2N's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I think that is normal. I was like that too. Find a good liquid vitamin and let your body get the rest it needs. Do what you can and take a break. I got through my spring cleaning in one hour intervals. I was taking what ever time I needed in between. It took me a bit longer than last year....but I got it done! You'll gradually start feeling better. -

Thank you for your replies! You've no idea how much I appreciate them. I pretty much know and have known for some time that wheat and gluten now are serious issues for me. Luckily my family is quite supportive of my diet and new lifestyle. They saw how skinny and sick I had gotten from all this. For a while I was losing a pound a day! I had started... -

Opinions? I've been pretty sick though getting better over the past three months. I've been weeding out gluten sources for a couple of months though I've been wheat free for two years. I've known for a couple of years that the wheat has a bad effect on my system. I'm still having issues. I'm still figuring out which foods affect me and how. Like... -

I'm curious about this too! I went with the enterolab test. The gene test for now. I do not want to deal with actual doctors in this area. I had one try to remove my gallbladder while another tells me it's working fine. I refused to let them take it! I am certain that I am gluten intolerant. It makes me depressed and ill for days. I don't even question... -
They likely use a mixture of spice that uses wheat to keeps it from clumping. They really do not know any better. You may want to contact them and tell them they need to make sure that ALL ingredients are labeled as gluten free. Someone with more experience likely has better insight on this.

Another ginger here. I'm Irish and English (from my Mums side) Black Foot American Indian and Oriental (from my father's side) Interesting mix, IMHO. My younger sister shows all the signs and symptoms of Celiac. I'm trying to convince her to get some testing done. She is also red haired. As is our mother. My daughter is my mix along with...

ARCHIVED What Were Your First Symptoms
Crimson replied to a topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Oh, wow. This is amusing in a way. I've been looking over my past and seeing the symptoms over my life. It's a bit overwhelming. 6 yrs of age I was a day dreamer in class. This is the same year my headaches started. 7-10 yrs. Severe headaches and leg pains. I didn't stand properly. I remember getting brain scans, full body x-rays and fitted for leg braces...
