  1. You could not worry about it and use what you want...and hope for the best....or be certain and use things like Dove products. Burts Bees has A LOT of gluten-free products that I like.
  2. I find the enzymes do help me a lot. I have used the Digest Gold and there are cheaper brands that are gluten-free as well.
  3. You need to be 100% Gluten Free. No tasting. Hopefully if you can do this and get the biopsy to show no damage. That should be your goal.
  4. I had a long conversation with someone at the Gluten Free Mall and she said that all of the labels will be changing soon. I believe she said September. Anyway, TJ is just getting ready for it. It is true that unless a product is tested, they will not be able to call it "Gluten Free" (exceptions as noted). And they will all say processed on equipment...
  5. It is so great that you have found really good doctors to work with. You are EXTREMELY blessed my dear. Not everyone here has that luxury. Some of us are on HMO's. Some are on disability. Some just do not have access to good doctors in their area. Some are so absolutely disgusted with doctors that they cannot physically/emotionally go see yet another...
  6. You might want to try a balanced amino acid supplement too to help rebuild that leg.
  7. What an awful thing! I had a roommate from hell once too....decided I would rather live in a rat hole (if it was all I could afford) than risk another roomie. Hope you are in a safe place now.
  8. I have had issues with food for as long as I can remember. But the fear is the worst. I too have had nightmares about gluten. Dang it....your dreams should be where you can pig out on pizza and donuts......LOL I tried NAET about 10 years ago. It did absolutely nothing for me. Nothing. I did 12 treatments and then threw in the towel. It was just...

  10. We have a well know colonics place here run by a woman named Billie Odor. I dont lie. This interests me as well. But I worry about my blood sugar and the fact I hate being hungry. Woke up last night at 3 am hungry. I basically just started SCD, so I think my body misses all of those carbs. I had greasy scalp too and flaky in some areas...
  11. I have personally never done a liver flush (they scare me) or a colonic (I dunno....seems that my adhesions that make my intestines into a woven basket that sticking something up there and digging around isnt such a good idea) ......But that is just me.
  12. We ALL have genes that can have negative health consequences (if triggered). Unless there is a perfect family out there that has never had a single disease all the way back through generation after generation where everyone just dies of old age by taking a nap at 90 and never wakes up.... If I knew I had some weird gene that could make my child be born...
  13. If your doctor will do that...then great! Most wont with a neg blood test. But in NEVER hurts to ask. I have become my own doctor. My physician is just an adjunct to my own care of myself. And Enterolab tests more than genetics. They test fecal for antibodies to gluten/egg/soy/dairy.
  14. You can contact Enerolab directly. I did the genetic tests about 4 months ago. I tell my family that I have the genes for gluten sensitivity and that my doctor recommended gluten-free diet. I did Enterolab on my own. I just have a supportive doctor. But my family dont personally speak with my physician. I could tell them whatever I want to make them...
  15. I have been having bloating and D for a few days myself and I know I was not CC. I made cilantro dressing and ate it for a few days. They are now thinking the Salmonella could be tomatoes, cilantro and other ingredients in salsas too. I am wondering.......

  17. After watching a report years ago about all of the nasty bacteria and fungus that grows on leftovers in the fridge (and the amount of nasties is just staggering), I simply will not eat anything past the 24-36 hour mark. My husband laughs about it. But I wont touch it if it has been in there longer than a day or so.
  18. If your food isnt getting absorbed then your body is still hungry. This is why. I like peppermint tea as well for this sort of thing.
  19. Welcome! Did you get your iron/Ferritin checked? Runners often become anemic. Did they test total IgA to see if you were deficient (and if you are) therefore making the Celiac panel useless??? You would need IgG testing then. You could still have Celiac with a negative blood test. There are many who have neg. blood/pos. biopsy and visa versa...
  20. I believe that can indicate liver problems. You should talk to his pediatrician right away.
  21. Have you been overly stressed lately? Your adrenals could be tired. If you google "adrenal fatigue" you can see if this sounds like you.
  22. I honestly dont miss all of that stuff. I am lucky. I dont cheat.
  23. You really need tests first because you can make it worse if you take things for thyroid without addressing a low adrenal state. Yes to a nauropath!! They can help you with both thyroid and adrenal. Dont delay!!
  24. Girl!!! Get your thyroid tested right away!!!! And dont settle for a "normal" on the TSH if it is above "2". Most do best with it under "1" and some (like me) need my TSH fully suppressed to not have your symptoms. If your doc. will not listen or order Thyroid panel, order it yourself at Healthcheck or directlabs. And if you test hypothryoid, I...
