  1. FYI: I made Carol Fenster's Eggless Banana Bread today on page 56 if you have the book. Its great This recipe is the first gluten-free banana bread I have attempted. YAY! I used Bob's Red Mill flour mix for the flours she lists and almond milk. It took 5 minutes less baking time in my oven using the 3 small loaves. I skipped the cardamon and...
  2. msmini14 and Gemini...I love your answers! The guy is supposed to think of the gal first, its called sacrifice not self-centeredness. If he can do that honestly and sincerely then he might be a good one. The rest...don't waste your time. Guys: the gal should be thinking about you that way too.
  3. I have only used it a few times. It works great in Karina's breakfast brownies (bar type recipe) from Open Original Shared Link She uses it many recipes if you want to read them. It worked great in maple muffins. I forgot what else I tried it in.

  9. I haven't tried bad gluten-free bread yet...nothing store bought. I have made 4 different recipes and they all were good so far. I like this recipe the best. B/C of the taste, the easyness to make it, and it doesn't have rice flour. With that being said, I thought it was great the next day. The 3rd day it was getting a little crumbly. I had pb &j on...

  16. I found this one: Open Original Shared Link I bet you could use sugar, honey or agave nectar for the stevia (thinking to myself) and coconut oil or veg. oil for the vegan butter. And even some sorghum for part of the rice flour. Who knows...lots of experiments! I used to make gluten applesauce pancakes...they were so yummy!
  17. No cooking, and healthy: Layered Bean Dip Get a flat dish or bowl (can opener too) and spread a can of refried beans on it. Sprinkle with some McCormick taco seasoning if desired. Top with salsa. Then start stacking on some favorite fresh veggies or whatever you like: sour cream, cheese, tomato, green onion, olives, avocado, peppers, etc. Serve with...

  19. A good web site to check out if you haven't already is: Open Original Shared Link I think you could make the breakfast brownies (not the choc. kind) really easy if you can sub the 1/2 cup starch. I made them with choc chips once but didn't really like them that way. Chopped dates were great in them. Cut, wrap and freeze and they make great granola bars...
