  1. That might be, what's going on with me at the moment. I'm so frustrated, it ain't even funny any more. The World Championships start tomorrow. Well,... without me though. I managed to qualify in these years World Championships in two classes, but now... I can't believe, it is now in August and not in November like usual. I would have loved to be there and...
  2. Hi donna, two things, well, one is more like a question?!? Vann Waffles are glutenfree? Maybe I'm confusing them with a brand we had in Germany. But in Germany they are not glutenfree. Might be that they are over here. I've never heard of it though, so I thought I better ask... The second thing is (I learnt personal trainer, so I fill you in): The organs...
  3. What in the living daylight??? I gained 7 lb in one week. Last Wednesday I had 141 on doc's weight machine. One day later 138 lb. And at yesterday's doc appointment I had 145 lb. I can't believe it. Must have been all that strawberry tart. I hope I'm getting rid of that one after the birth...
  4. Nothing here yet. Guys, I'm sooo sorry I let you wait so long today. But my husband was on the computer all morning, so I couldn't get on. And when he left, I still was fed up with working on his gift. I don't want him to see it, before it's done, so I couldn't work on it in the morning, while he was home. Then, when he finally left at like 12:50pm (usually...
  5. That's true. I heard about women going longer with ruptured membranes, too. The wife of a co-worker of my husband took a shower while her membranes ruptured. She never noticed it. Three days later she went to the doctor and he told her, that her membranes ruptured and they needed to induce her. Baby and mother were fine... I think, with me it's psychological...
  6. Yes, why didn't they want you to walk after 8cm and broken water??? That would be my death I think. Yes, I love squats. Even now. I do them all the time. I was planning on giving them a try during my labor and after so many people talked so positive about them, it is even more encouraging. I'm not dilated at all. Did I write that wrong before??? I thought...
  7. My next doctor's appointment is at 12:10pm. Hopefully he will check me then. Let's see, if something moved from last week, when I was considered 80% effaced and not soft or dilated, until today. Maybe I'm so far along, that they will keep me right away. Wouldn't that be cool!?! On the other hand, since I apparently don't have contractions yet, I don't want...
  8. Yes, I will wear green, too, then.
  9. Yes, Angie, tomorrow is my due date. I can't believe, it's almost here. How fast the time passed. I didn't have any cramping going on in the morning today, but a couple of minutes ago I had some. Now it's better. Hm... I don't get it . Well, the times, that are best for me to meet are either Mondays through Fridays in the morning or at the weekends...
  10. Thanks guys, that's really encouraging. I hope, it's going to be today.
  11. Cool! Yes, we should. Uhm, Bins Park is that industrial park between Prince Street and Queen Street. I always Park at the parking garage at Orange Street and just go down to where that little piece of land is with that big water fountain. That's where they usually have the 'Open Roda' (free training) of Capoeira every first Friday of the month. If all of...
  12. New Bloomfield is just north of Harrisburg in Perry County. It's about 1 hour from Lancaster. The reason I go there is because of Capoeira training. Usually I train Wednesday in Mountville. And if I can't come on Wednesday, I take the substitute class on Saturday, which is in Shrewsbury. And every first Friday of the month, they have an "Open Roda" in Bins...
  13. Thanks for all the 'Good luck' wishes. I just lost my mucous plug like 10 minutes ago. Since I have never been pregnant, I don't know, if that was the entire plug, but it was quite a big of a chunk. Now all the early signs have happened so far. Next thing must be baby , there is no other way anymore now. Things are rolling and it's pretty much the point...
  14. Hey, I did not know, you where from Ephrata. Usually I am in Lancaster (or near Lancaster) at least once a week. How cool. We could meet with our little rugrats, once they're out.
  15. Cool! I have to check that out, when we go to our qualification tournament in Evansville next year. I think, that's not that far away, is it?
  16. Here are the next good news. This morning at 3am I went to bed and (sorry, TMI again) after I went to the bathroom and wiped off I had dark brown stuff in there. It was so little, that I almost didn't notice it. After seeing it I put a thin liner in and went to bed and now this morning there are dark brown spots all over. This is the bloody show. Yipieee...
  17. Well, I went and watched Ju Jitsu this morning and after that I walked 1 mile on the treadmile and after THAT I went to the mall to get some groceries. But then on the parking lot I thought, 'well, because my parents-in-law haven't called yet, let's check out, when the new Rush Hour movie runs'... so I could maybe watch it later after all the errands are...
  18. Next time reply: "How would you react, if I would offer you some poison and then tell you 'it's probably just psychosomatic, just don't think about it'"? If they stare at you like you have three heads, say "see, that's what gluten is to me".
  19. I was diagnosed with celiac a little bit over 3 years ago (with 27). The actual pain from celiac started 7 years before THAT (with 20) and I believe, I had underlying celiac problems all my live. I had thyroid (under) with 17, too. Doctors didn't see that connection at that time, cause I wasn't diagnosed with celiac yet. And when I was around 24, 25 years...
  20. Yes, the mushrooms that come with the Alice Springs Chicken are definitely glutenfree. I would notice it right away, too, cause I'm very sensitive. That's funny, I always get the Alice Springs Chicken with the roasted garlic mashed potatoes, too. Oh, isn't that ever good!!!
  21. Another good sign . I heard, you can get some contractions going by stimulating your nipples. Not that I did that. But I thought, well, if that's possible, then the other way around it might work, too. Which means, if you have contractions, you might leak some. Well, until yesterday, I only always had to dry off and clean up some dry crumbs from only my...
  22. I already gained 30 lb with this pregnancy. OK... around 30 lb. At one appointment at the doc's office I had 140 lb exactly. Then a few days later I had 141 lb and now I'm back to 139 lb. So, I don't think all of this will come off right after birth. So, I might be here for a while... lol. Donna, I think, you're right with the milk. In fact, tonight...
  23. Happy Birthday from me as well. I hope, this will be your special day and your dh has something very special for you.
  24. Sorry, TMI now. Today I took a shower, cause I wanted to spend an evening with Kathy, my best friend. She turned 50 yesterday. And because this little guy can pop out everyday, I'm shaving and cleaning a lot lately . So while I was down there (with a mirror), I noticed, that I was all swollen and all. After this it occurred to me, that he didn't move that...
  25. I would definitely like to call somebody on here. But I need somebody that's ok with that . BTW, I can have my cell phone switched on in the hospital. When I was in there for three days in week 28, they said, I could always leave it on.
