  1. I'm still using the crystal too! It did fail on me finally, about 2 or 3 times just in the past 7 to 10 days!! I cannot figure out why tho! I haven't done anything differently. So, the past 2 days I've tried rubbing harder, lol. I guess I'll see if that fixes it. I still like it and it works almost all of the time, I'm not sure what the deal was those...
  2. What kind of gluten free flour mix do you use when you make this?
  3. I happened to go in to a taco bell to check out these new tacos. There is NO WAY I'm eating there. I watched them make the food for a bit. They had 2 lines, the same ingredients on both sides, and 2 people working them. So, the same lady touched EVERYTHING. And by everything, I mean she would grab a flour tortilla, spread beans down the center with a...
  4. Well, we have found the gluten free things tend to be much more filling! We just have one, and then save the rest for another time

    ARCHIVED Dentist Visit

I guess I just dont freak out about the dentist. It's only twice a year, and I dont swallow anything they put in my mouth. I rinse really well and spit a lot, and they know I'm going to do that, so I don't worry about it.
  6. I had to change pharmacies. We were using Walmart 10 months ago. They were completely clueless when it came to gluten. I had a pharmacist tell me something was gluten free, and when I read the ingredients and saw starch, I asked her what is this starch from, and she said we have no idea. I said then how can you say it's gluten free?? She didn't answer...
  7. I forgot to add, on Amazon the price is about $4.60 a loaf, or even down to $3.90 if you sign up for automatic delivery options. I payed $5.50 a loaf for Udi's and it's SO much smaller. Also this loaf doesn't come out with a ton of holes all thru it but more like regular white bread, just a tad heavier.
  8. Tried this yesterday. I was very impressed!! Compared to Udi's, the loaf is about twice as big!! Udi's is so small, if my entire family wanted a sandwich, we'd need more than one loaf. But last night we all had BLT's on this bread and still have leftovers! It smelled like regular bread when baking! I used my bread machine. I followed the package directions...
  9. Today I have my 14 week appt. I bought a cheap fetal doppler thing, so I can hear the heartbeat every day. This eases my mind so much. I'm still amazed at the difference in this pregnancy compared to when I was eating gluten. No one can believe it!
  10. I've seen it in King Soopers in Colorado. I haven't been to Arizona in over 10 years so I can't say I just buy it on Amazon, but I bet you can find it at a store there to try it!
  11. Oh good, I'm glad it's working! I just went to get mine and mine is "Crystalux Crystal Stick Deodorant". The instructions say "Apply to clean moist skin or wet the top of the crystal stick and apply. Rub 20 to 30 times under each arm". It also says "guaranteed to last 1 year". I haven't had any problems with sweating but I live in a dry climate so that...
  12. One more thing to add. I just recently used Chebe to make a Schlotzsky's sandwich!! WOW! Bake the chebe in to 5 rolls. Slice them all in half. Top one half with a slice of provolone cheese. Top the other half with some ham, salami and pepperoni. Place in hot oven until warm and cheese is melted. Remove. Top with shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, sliced...
  13. I just made these and they were FANTASTIC!!!! I followed the directions on the package, but I added walnuts and butterscotch chips. I had to bake at least 10 minutes longer than the package said, but oh my gosh they were so good. My entire family LOVED them and no one could tell they were gluten free at all. They were chewy and soft at the same time,...
  14. I hope you like it!! Let us know how it works for you!
  15. Seriously, try it again! Get it wet and if it stops moving easily, get it wet again. You want it to slide all around. I go from way up high, like a couple inches above my underarm, to a couple inches below it and then from almost going around the edge to my back, LOL, and all the way to the inner edge. I usually have to re-wet the stick a couple times...
  16. I'm here to say, I have had deodorant problems for YEARS! I'll use something a while and then it will quit working. Or, if I am pregnant, I can NOT stand the smell of ANY deodorant. So I try all the natural ones and NONE of them work at all. I felt like the smelliest woman on earth. But recently a friend told me about the deodorant crystals. I didn...
  17. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm glad you posted her story.
  18. We just happened to eat here yesterday. They automatically changed their gloves when I told them I had a "wheat allergy", and then I asked them about the spatula, and they immediately said they'd use a new clean spatula to cook our burgers. I could see everything they did too. And the fries were totally safe. They even bagged our burgers and fries separately...
  19. I disagree with the massive amounts of "blame the chicken!" posts. I trust Costco. You cannot mistrust EVERYTHING and EVERYONE or life is not really worth living. If Costco has gone to all the trouble to label their chicken gluten free, I believe them. I eat it all the time and I've not have problems, and my blood test results have dropped in to the normal...
  20. There is also Chick-Fil-A. They are great about gluten free options. They are the only place I know of with both gluten free fries AND a dedicated fryer. I ate there today, as I happen to be visiting Colorado Springs right now! Also P.F. Changs is a Chinese restaurant with a gluten free menu. I find them to be very good about safety. There is one pizza...
  21. Also, from Chick-Fil-A's website: Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries
  22. As far as I know, Chick-Fil-A DOES have dedicated fryers. Every one I've been in does! They are very knowledgable about their gluten free options! They seem to always know what I need when I say I can't have gluten. Their salads are prepared away from anything with gluten and kept sealed and away from other foods. They even mark mine with an orange sticker...
  23. Why not?? Peanut butter is gluten free. And Peter Pan says all their varieties are gluten free on their website.
  24. We all eat Chex a lot and I haven't noticed any symptoms and I also recently had my bloodwork redone and my ttg iga was down from 88 to 9. I just called General Mills and I'm waiting on a return call. I'll post the information when I get it.
