  1. Hun, I can soooo relate to the potluck. I had to turn one down at a church function with my mom and relativess because I couldn't trust it. When my mom saw me afterwards, she said to me..."You could have gone! they had fresh fruits and vegetables!" My response to her was........"MOM! Is that all I'm worth eating is fruits and vegetables?!" Then they proceeded...
  2. twitching is a sign of lack of sleep.......today I finally bought some tylenol PM just to help me when I am an insomniac. Haven't taken any yet, but they're there if I need them Tena
  3. I've experienced close to the same - but don't fret - once your system starts getting regulated, you can go to the bathroom as much as 4 or 5 times a day. What has been in there before your 4 days has putrified and the gas will clear eventually - but in my case, I am more able to control 'functions' than before. You're taking in more fiber so that will...
  4. As many times as I've had to do that same kind of thing.....I found that there is an advantage to talking with the management. I have had to do this before with the point being I would not come back to their establishment.....and since they don't like complaints.......I usually get a discount or special attention....like the VIP treatment. I don't have...
  5. I agree - I eat whatever I desire for breakfast.....and I'll even have eggs, bacon and toast for dinner too. I come to work and eat my morning meal here.....it could be leftover pizza, spaghetti, taco salad (like now!), baked potato (loaded!)....the list is endless. Break the rules of what breakfast food 'oughta be' and think outside the box a little.....
  6. Update on that pizza recipe ............ OMG it's fantastic! cream cheese/eggs/parmesan/mozarella and italian seasoning for the crust. It's an amazing tasting pizza! tytytytytytytyty! I will never miss pizza again! Now.....can anybody do something about hamburger buns........... Everyone that hasn't tried that recipe - d-d-definately needs to...
  7. I do believe you're right.....in some aspects. I was put on the welbutrin well before the Dr. took me off gluten in mid October 2009.....I originally got it because I couldn't pull myself out of depression and stress and also found it assisted with my sleep apnea issues. And it was working pretty good to keep focus after not going into a deep sleep each...
  8. I'm sorry! Glutenfreepizza.com Cream cheese, egg, parmesan, mozarella and I added garlic and italian seasoning too then baked. I missed pizza so much!
  9. Minniejack.......I baked this for the first time today (it's cooling now) and I'll have to say......I'm amazed! You wouldn't know it wasn't a flour crust! This is our superbowl pizza! and I'm soooooo ready! One question tho, is it really necessary to cool for a long time? What is your experience with 'impatience'? UPDATE! Oh MG! that was the best...
  10. Most of the time, the bulk coffees in the grocery store are in designated bins. What I would be concerned about is any flavored coffees - especially if they were discontinued and what replaces it in that bin. Take the mental picture (or a photo on the phone) for when you go to the store and notice something is gone or is becoming discontinued. I always...
  11. If the restaurant says that their items are not gluten free......then I suggest you take their word for it. They obviously know enough about gluten-free to offer a gluten-free menu so I'm sure they are aware of all of their items. When in doubt, go without. Welcome and maybe they will allow you to bring in some of your own condiment ingredients due to...
  12. OH REBA32!!!!!! That recipe sounds superfrickindelicious! And all this time I thought CRUST meant flour! You are a Godsend! I'm gonna try that one for SuperBowl tomorrow! Who's your money on? I got 3 squares picked at work....so I don't care who wins! just as long as my squares pay off! 50 bucks per quarter would be a nice membership to Curves! tytytytytytytyty
  13. All good points Reba32 Just trying to get a feel before I take this to the doctor - he's awesome with me about everything! I did quit the welbutrin's second dose in the afternoon....the assistance to help quit smoking but was originally given for sleep apnea. My insurance isn't that great but having it in case of a major something will assist in paying...
  14. I don't know if schapps is gluten free - but if it were....I'd be ordering fuzzy navels too! And a buttery nipple! don't know about the irish cream tho either. I too stick with wine if I go out for a drink. I love the sweeter wines. White zinfandel is usually a good choice. Reisling too - sweet with a creamy testure - or some may call it velvety I...
  15. You're right! but I was in a pinch. I have never had the problem with Cracker Barrel as they specify their grills due to allergies. The Denny's was the black Friday and the next time was an independant that put toast on top of my eggs after specifically telling them about my preferences and clean grills...no flour products! They discounted my whole order...
  16. Can you help me resolve this back and forth thinking in my head? I know this is nothing in comparison with what celiacs deal with. I just have read that gluten sensitivity can be damaging in other ways. Thanks! Blessings, Jamie

  18. Mr.Paul.......Oh puh...pfft! It twerr too sumpin! SHAH! Although I am diligent about being gluten free...'almost anal infact'....I have to wonder if CC could react harsher than the real thing....although I notice my heart rate goes up with diary too...I ate cheese and grapes for lunch one day and the heart rate spiked....it did with a flavored tea too (knew...
  19. Hyperthyroid......did the search and read this... Open Original Shared Link Symptoms are quite similar to what I've mentioned. Just thought GFinDC and mamaw should be commended for their 'knowing' a little sumpin sumpin! Thank you........guess I'll take it to the doctor if I can't resolve it myself.
  20. Wow........all good points! My symptoms are the Hashimoto's type symptoms as once brought to my attention when I first joined this forum. It would attack the thyroid leaving the neck and left shoulder in constant pain/swelling/twisting. Before my dx I was drinking RC and rum - and afterwards, I had that one time and knew right away that it was the RC causing...
  21. My reactions to CC and Gluten is mostly in the neck with a pressure/swelling/twisting pain. Recently tho since Black Friday, I've been HOT! Over heated with a red face...and a smidge of attitude! (ballsy if ya know what I mean) I've also had the sleep issues that if I have one cup of coffee at 6pm, I'm not sleeping! Last nite, I had 2 rum and cokes......
  22. OH HE(double hockey sticks) He did NOT just say that! I assure you..........The Biatch is in the house! WTF!? You already know that you belong with the strength of REAL women! Regardless, it's all or nothing! He is not capable of all or nothing! I'll be your strength in all ways if you need it sweetie! Friends are a stronger bond than a mindless relationship...
  23. I found this article that was very interesting......not so much about estrogens, but..... Before I begin, let me extend my apologies to the dairy farmers. I grew up on a dairy and I understand how milk and dairy products have become a huge part of our culture and how it has become a huge industry in our country. However, from a natural health point of...
  24. I have a low tolerance for selfish and inconsiderate. You matter! First and foremost! That's all I dare to say. Big hugs to you for strength to take control of YOUR life....and a prayer too.
