  1. This is a really old thread. That poster hasn't been on since 2009.
  2. As an "older" diagnosed Celiac, It takes a lot longer than 8 weeks to get everything healed and back on track. It could be something else you are eating, like a really cheesy dinner with ice cream or maybe you just need more time. Whoopes! Just saw you are off dairy, but you get the idea. In the beginning a lot of corn products would do that tp me,...
  3. I have been thinking of volunteering at a shelter, too. I agree with the above posters. I have never liked animals that lick me. I don't offer my face for that. But if I got licked on the lips accidentally, I wouldn't worry.
  4. Just to let you know - this thread is 6 years old. Most or all of the posters are no longer active on the forum.
  5. How about these clapping guys And even creepier:
  6. Well.. I'm exhausted after reading that!
  7. That's just cause I'm a smart a$$ who thinks laughing is good for digestion! That and, was it " riding a broomstick?" :0
  8. I put plastic wrap on the top and bottom of sticky pizza dough while rolling out. I like that I can see thru it. If they come out blobby shaped, we call them guinea pigs shaped cookies. Or my dad sticks some red hots in the middle before baking and we call them volcanoes.
  9. I make a hot cheese dip that I take to parties. However, once its set out, you can't keep track of what people dip in it. I bake a liitle custard bowl of it and take that & a baggie of chips for myself.
  10. Yeah! Blame it on us! We eat mostly gluten-free at home and when we go to PF Changs we all order gluten-free so we can share. So a teenager & a Hub plus a college student when he is home....not quite the same but the 3 of them probably equal 1 whole gluten-free person?
  11. If it says modified tapioca starch, then it is tapioca made into a starch. It can't have wheat or some other starch added to it. Not really sure what you are saying? Not sure why the pizza crust company thinks the brand of tapicoa matters so much that they "name" it in the ingredients. Perhaps they get a discount for listing it by brand name? They...
  12. One of those threads is 6 years old and the other 4 years old. You might want to check with the company for any up to date info on a product.
  13. Tapioca is gluten free.
  14. It worries me that you are cutting out a lot of foods at a time when you need a variety of healthy foods. Why? If you are gluten free, you should be able to absorb the iron. As Tiffany said, it is common for pregnant women to be anemic. Take your iron supplements correctly - on an empty stomach - no food before or after for about 2 hours if I'm remembering...
  15. Corn starch should be safe for Celiacs.
  16. As far as I can tell by your signature, there is no reason for you not to eat whatever you want. If wheat doesn't bother you, good for you.
  17. Some or all of them have gluten-free oat in them. Perhaps that is your issue?

  19. Yes. What about her mixer? Will she be making cookies with flour on the same day?
  20. Celiac is in the small intestine. I would go back and ask him what the biopsies of the large intestines showed - colitis? chron's? Something else? And insist they treat it. Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link
  21. Good! "Don't go topless!" with a picture of a topless cabana boy could be our slogan.
  22. If its my son's restaurant, it would have to be in Colorado. Maybe besides burgers, nachos & pizzas with 100 toppings we could also add salads. Alot of those toppings are good on salad and salad dressing is good on hamburgers. Maybe some fries & baked potatoes with toppings? Have It Your Way Top This Don't Go Topless (maybe a better motto...
  23. We have been to Mt Bachelor a couple of times. It should have some good snow after that big storm.
