  1. Gus and Elsie look like Christmas poodles with their red and green outfits.
  2. Um, I have one. But I don't want to see anybody get warned by Scott.
  3. Somebody would probably report you for violating board rule #3: There is a low tolerance for spam, and Scott is not very forgiving.
  4. Okay, count me in for a quickie! But CSI is just starting, so don't expect any more until 10:15.
  5. Something else that I forgot to mention is that you can get email notifications when new posts happen in a topic. At the top of the page on the right is a button labeled "Options." Click on it and select "Track this topic" and you will see several options for notifications.
  6. Apparently seven is the operative number today.
  7. Bookmarks or favorites are a function of your browser, and vary slightly from one to another. In Mozilla Firefox, there is a "Bookmarks" button on the top tool bar. While viewing the topic you want to keep track of, click "Bookmarks" and then "Bookmark this page." In Internet Exploder, click "Favorites" on the tool bar under the address box, and click...
  8. Yes, General Mills will clearly disclose all sources of gluten.
  9. Okay, no bikini pics. But we still want lots of pictures of Jenks.
  10. And how are we to know that you don't. I think we need a picture. Perhaps a photo of you in a bikini with your new p%$#@#.
  11. I am also one fourth Scottish, and I just had to laugh at your explanation for wearing kilts!
  12. That was a predictable assertive move by the kitten in the presence of a much larger, unfamiliar, and possibly threatening (to kitty) animal. It is probably a one-time event. Boundaries are being established. It will work out.
  13. Some of these are also available in cat food. I know Dick van Patten's Natural Balance, Merrick Before Grain, and Wellness Core have cat foods that are grain-free (and therefore gluten-free). I'll check into Taste of the Wild--their cat food is probably gluten-free, but I haven't read the label (and I should have--we sell it). There may be others in this...
  14. I won't. It is a good question.
  15. I would not be concerned about what the birds eat. You are not eating the contents of their digestive tract, but rather the meat. All pure meat is gluten-free. It is conceivable, although unlikely, that something was added in the processing. By USDA regulation, anything added to meat MUST be declared on the label. In the circumstances you described, contamination...
  16. Cats are territorial, and bond with their space more that anything. The kitten is in a new place, with unfamiliar companions, including a dog. Dogs may be something new altogether. It will take some time for things to settle out. If you can, place kitty in a room by herself, where you can close the door to keep her safe (as perceived by the kitten)....
  17. Another important thing about those notices regarding shared facilities and equipment is that the are voluntary. There is no requirement in either Canada or the US that such labeling be present. You can not assume that just because you don't see one of those cautions that it means the facility and/or equipment are not shared with gluten products. The...
  18. Autolyzed yeast and yeast extract are not sources of gluten, although they are sources of glutamate which is sometimes confused with gluten. Yeast is yeast, it is not derived from any grain. Brewer's yeast should be avoided as it is a byproduct of brewing beer. It is spent yeast that has already been used to ferment barley.
  19. DogtorJ has even been seen here from time to time.
  20. Yes, that is exactly what it means.
  21. No, but I expect that you will. This is so old that it may be new again: SAD NEWS (EXCEPT FOR CELIACS) It is with a very sad heart that we must pas on the following news. Please join us in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community. The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and complications from repeated pokes...
  22. Dylan, I am posting for the first time in this topic, but I have been reading both of the topics you started regularly and carefully. You have amalgam dental fillings. I do as well. I was very sick. It seems that you are too. I went on a completely gluten-free diet more than eight years ago. This was after I was diagnosed with celiac disease by...
  23. There are 24 members who made only one post in this thread. That number includes Scott (admin). Even he seems to have been kept away.
