ARCHIVED Feeling Better. Can Rice Cause Problems?
foam replied to adambryant's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Just a tip, it wont come out in one piece in your stool if you chew it into juice before you swallow it :!) 50% of the problem all of us have/had in the first place is not chewing food like those silly slow eaters we used to laugh at.. Who is laughing now ?? not me that's for sure, I now eat slower than my painfully slow eating wife. Maisie, yes the... -
ARCHIVED Is Something Seriously Wrong?
foam replied to Razzle Dazzle Brazell's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I took Diflucan for about 12 days last week or so, I feel your pain, that stuff has got some POWER. I felt like I was dying for the first 3 days and then on the 3rd night almost instantly I felt amazing!, more amazing than I had in a long time. Or maybe it just seemed that way because I felt like I was dying for 3 days lol. In any case it does something,... -
ARCHIVED An Interesting Story And Introduction
foam replied to foam's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
So the plot thickens.. I'm currently taking a course of antibiotics against Helicobacter pylori. This is something I've taken before a couple of years ago and I had assumed this wasn't the issue since nothing changed. However I have noticed over the years that antibiotics made the node in my neck smaller and did so pretty quickly. Now the more and more... -
ARCHIVED Diagnosing A Lactose Intolerence
foam replied to Adalaide's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
That's great you have a source of raw A2 milk, I have a friend with a A2 cow, I should probably be asking her for some milk too. I work at a dairy farm occasionally also who mostly have A1 cows but also some Jersy cows which are mostly A2 so I have a contact there, I could in theory get my own pure A2 cow one day :0 could just have it in the heard and milk... -
ARCHIVED Underweight Need Help Please
foam replied to andreikirev's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
I'm also 5 10 and 120 pounds, I used to be about 150 and was 140 just a couple months ago before I went completely off grains. Eating meat and fat just makes me loose more and more weight compared to grain and cheese and fruits etc. I had become very weak at this weight and sometimes feel I would be better off eating grains just to gain weight.. The problem...- 5 replies

ARCHIVED Is There A Name For This Diet?
foam replied to Ray21's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
This is LGG, there's heaps of studies on it versus allergy and leak gut etc. Open Original Shared Link It's probably the best of the known bacteria's to help, along with the yoghurt it seems to help put a liner of mucus on your guts, the German doctor that specialises in curing leaky gut has all his patients on at least half a litre a day!. -
ARCHIVED Is There A Name For This Diet?
foam replied to Ray21's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
If you guys want me to walk you through how to make probiotic yoghurt just let me know, I'm going to make some more today and also try the pure LGG to see what that makes. I made two batches yesterday. One was ordinary cultures and the other ordinary + probiotics and for me the probiotic tasted better so I'm interested to see if it will culture on it's own... -

Mushroom I ate a lot of potato skin the other day as a test for the first time in a few weeks and didn't do that well with it as I thought I would lol! so I might retract that statement. I'm not on potato at all at the moment because I'm trying to starve this bacteria while I'm on antibiotics because I'm really improving considerably on antibiotics if for... -
ARCHIVED Diagnosing A Lactose Intolerence
foam replied to Adalaide's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Strongly suggest you get onto A2 milk only asap, cheese is only concentrated Milk, you can have a mild problem with milk and a much larger problem with Cheese and milk chocolate. Nothing to do with lactose sugar imho, just the A1 milk protein. Yoghurt is the go because the bacteria eat the lactose before you eat it anyway and you really don't want to eat... -
ARCHIVED Is There A Name For This Diet?
foam replied to Ray21's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Ray21 you are right, it's the proteins that cause the problems. I'm in the same boat but have some extra complexities because I also have a high eosonphil white cell count that's causing more damage on it's own it's also caused an enlarged node/tumour in my neck, I also have a IgE antibody level over 4000 (which should be under 200) although I don't have... -

I made an error today, after feeling really great for days and days. I ate 3 pears and a bulk load of potato with skins.. I take back what I said before about potato with skins being good lol. Meat and veggies was working well, I'll go back to that although I am going to take a banana smoothie today with egg yolks. Hopefully todays failures wont interrupt... -
ARCHIVED Is There A Name For This Diet?

Everyone says not to eat potato but there's something in that stuff that works well. I think it's the poisons in the skin (I eat them with the skin) and there are supposed to be some fairly powerful compounds in potato skin, anti fungals. The only problem I've had with them was as a kid if I ate a lot of baked potato's with skins I'd have the most crazy vivid... -
ARCHIVED How Do You Heal Your Leaky Gut? Ready To Move On!
foam replied to Maryw88's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
AmeliaF, I have huge problems with all protiens, I have to really chew them into practically a liquid and only eat them early in the morning when my stomach acid is really powerful. You can take the major amino acids in their pure already broken down form and then you wont have a reaction to it bcca powder has the major ones in it. I haven't been eating at... -
ARCHIVED Severe Glutening From Corn!
foam replied to dreacakes's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Makes little difference to me, Corn is every bit the equal in evil as Wheat, might even be worse!. When I eat Corn it is simply none digestible and I have to wait for the reaction and the painful litres of acid to wash it out. For me all grains are a failure, but Corn is especailly bad news and it's in practically all processed food these days. Rice is OK... -

Hey guys, Had something interesting happen today, went to the doctors and asked to see the biopsy report I had done of my crazy node 6 years ago. I asked the doctor.. It doesn't happen to say suspected Kimuara's disease on there does it?... And bamm there it was.. Very interesting since the lab guys had nothing to go on apart from a few cells from a... -

Hey guys just thought I'd update you, I'm on about my 6th day of Diflucan. I felt like I was going to die for the first three days.. really tough, persistent headache, woozy feeling, pretty out of it actually and I never normally feel anything like that. But on the 4th day I felt suddenly great and have felt great ever since. My tongue is starting to clear... -

mommida, thanks I'll keep all that in mind. I had started keeping a food diary but unfortunate did not during the time I was heading in the right direction. I was however eating a lot of eggs a lot of potato and still eating banana one thing I forgot was that I was eating a LOT of coconut oil on everything I ate and also taking it straight and also in my... -

foam replied to foam's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Thanks for the replies guys, Today I have some updates. I finished my initial fast and started eating solids again. According to the German doctors protocol I should be now doing a single food for a week however I've decided I will speed things up slightly. In the last few days because I haven't had access to a good anti fungal drug for the intestinal... -

GFinDC, I'm not sure.. I have been tested for thyroid function a couple of times and as recently as 2 weeks ago, is the TPO the general thyroid function test?. The results of that test were "exceptionally good" in the Doctors words. I haven't taken any anti-histamines as I really don't have any symptoms apart from problems with digestion, the ever fading... -

Yes it's been biopsied they weren't sure what it was 6 years ago originally but I've had some more tests on it recently it's definitely a normal but reactive node that's enlarged due to being under constant heavy stress, all my lymph nodes and blood for that matter (and intestines) are full of the same reactive cells. Because of my very high IgE levels my... -
ARCHIVED Not Trying Enough New Foods...scared Of Allergies..
foam replied to 123glldd's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I would be surprised if anyone has much more allergens and higher IgE antibody levels than I do at the moment and I can eat peanuts, all kinds of nuts infact and any other food I feel like, all it does is raise my immune system to a higher state and release more eosonphil cells that ruin my gut further but I've never reached a state of shock or anything like... -
So I've been a member on here for a while as I believed my problems started and ended with a wheat intolerance however after not really improving in the 3 years I've been off Gluten and doing more diagnostics with my doctor and learning more in general I've come to realise I have a quite bad issue with leaky guy or more technically eosinophilic gastroenteritis...

ARCHIVED B12 Limit Question
foam replied to katrina500's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Hi no, I'm on 50,000 IU D3 capsules, I live in a fairly dark windy and cold place so the majority of the population are on D3 supplements, the capsules are made locally. Usually 4 capsules brings most peoples level up to 100, just hasn't worked as quickly for me. -
ARCHIVED Anyone Recover From Chronic Insomnia After Going gluten-free?
foam replied to carrieanna76's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
P.S. that's how I gauge my time interval for b12 shots, as soon as I start staying awake much past midnight I get a shot, even if my levels are 900.Take the shot and I got to sleep before midnight like a a baby for the next several months -
ARCHIVED Anyone Recover From Chronic Insomnia After Going gluten-free?
foam replied to carrieanna76's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
B12 will cure insomnia 100%, that's the cure job done game over etc. If you can't sleep you need B12 injections. The reason people with gluten intolerance can't sleep is because we have compromised intestines and can't absorb nutrients very well and the one that causes insomnia is one of them (and that's B12) get the injections, seriously that is that answer...
