  1. You normally get high _total_ IgE levels with a leaky gut because you make antibodies to everything that leaks through, but they do not show up on allergy testing, at least not skin testing. The allergist I went to said you can't generally pick up gut problems with skin testing. Non gut absorbed substances tend to be the ones that induce life threatening...
  2. Another update, few weeks ago my bloods were 2100 IgE and 1.0 Eosinophil levels. The best yet. Not only that I totally fixed my low Neutrophil levels, which went from a consistent 1.4-1.8 to 2.9 !, the highest I've ever recorded and smack into the normal range. I also went to a new specialist to see about getting a more solid diagnosis on the Kimura's...
  3. It's possible I have excessive mast cells but I don't know how you find out these things, probably a biopsy and I'm not so keen on too much more diagnostics, I've already had so many and the stress isn't good. The reaction feels like a dull pain in the gut, when it's really bad then it's more like a heat you can feel through your veins and a quite painful...
  4. I have a considerable eosinophilic reaction to almost anything processed it seems. Most especailly gluten free pizza from Dominos! I don't know why but that stuff doubles the size of my tumour within days of eating it and it's repeatable, eating something like that will bump my eosinophil levels back up into the 30% range and I have had it down to 15% recently...
  5. Yes, as late as last year (after three years off gluten) I still had all kinds of foods comming out undigested. That part of the problem is more or less fixed now, I had to change my diet to grain free and start eating meat.
  6. I understand what you are saying, as even the Zyrtec lowers my reaction, when I have them. I have problems with some additives/yeasts/something but it's always less when I'm on a blocker than when I'm not. I'm sure a proper mast cell stabilizer would really take the edge off the reaction. I can't test gluten vs zrytec because I haven't been eating gluten...
  7. I've read quite a bit about Xolair and for sure it would smash down my IgE levels but it's only available in trials here at the moment and they aren't doing trials for weird rare diseases... But I keep my eye on this and a few other future drugs because they are coming and they will work perfectly for me.. Sooner or later they will be generic and cheap too...
  8. Larapiz, you sound like you've read up quite a bit on immunoglobulins. I'm interested if you have any theory's about what may cause my condition "Kimura's disease". Theory goes that it's an hypersentivity and or an auto immune condition, it certainly can be once it has kidney involvment as in my case. The level of severity of the condition can me measured...
  9. The Immune condition I have "Kimura's" disease is supposedly caused by a hyper sensitivity to candida, that's just a theory of some immunologist but it's not provable and officially the cause is unknown. However during allergy testing the only notable reaction I had to anything was to candida and the test site got worse and worse and worse each day until...
  10. Pizza is the ultimate killer food for leaky gut people. Not only is it full of grains in the gluten free base. You have tomatoes, probably sun dried with sugar too. Onions, Cheese, yeast. It's the who's who of disaster foods. I started eating cheese again a couple of weeks ago but as of a couple of days ago it's started to mess me up again. Wasn't ready for...
  11. More than half of everyone on the planet has large parasites and most of us would have several species, I bet everyone has a tiny sub clinical parasite or ten. We are evolved to live with them so it's no big deal for most people but I bet it causes gut problems in others. I've been extensively tested for them though both anti body and stool tests and never...
  12. Can you remember how high your IgE level was and did you ever get it back to normal?
  13. When you start going hard on green juice or a lot of raw veggies it takes some time for the bacterial species in your gut to adjust in numbers to eat the new food. You'll see an increase in the species that feed on green plants and a reduction in other species. It takes a few days, maybe even a couple of weeks and then you wont have problems any more. Same...
  14. If your Doctor will run you through a diagnostic course of Rifiamixin or even metronidazole you'll soon find out if it's sibo or even a small parasite. I'd take the gene test if I was you anyway. Chances are it'll be positive, if gluten makes you very sick it basically has to be positive. Those two things will help you understand what is going on if nothing...
  15. Hello! yet another quick update. I'm still slowly improving. Still doing 10mg Zyrtec and 10mg Loratadine (zzzzzzzzzz very sleepy though). I'm going to replace one of them with suplatast tosilate (IPD-1151T) as soon as I can source some of it out of Japan. That should get me to the next level of safe immune suppression. My gut is really good these days and...
  16. There's practically no lactose in firm cheese and yoghurt, most people will tolerate those just fine. But it depends on just how much damage is done. If your not struggling to digest foods and not at the leaky gut stage where you need to avoid grains and nuts then I'm thinking cheese and yoghurt will do you no harm.
  17. There no difference, just a variation or full blown celiac in waiting. Yes sure if you stop eating it long enough you can eat it again without symptoms. I used to get destroyed in the gut any time I ate gluten, didn't eat it for three years and tried some bread... did nothing. Tried some more.. did nothing. Roughly at that time I had the genetic test and...
  18. I think it's pretty normal to get acid formation / reflux when eating dairy and sugar combined, it's normal for me anyway. Try plain greek yoghurt and see how that is, it's probably better
  19. The burning in the gut was something else, that was small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO). It happens sometimes when your gut is no longer in good condition. You need to take antibiotics to get help with that. You might also have the bacteria helicobacter pylori which gives you stomach ulcers
  20. I will tell it to you straight from someone that was a immovable hardcore vegan for many years, I did a decade vegan and another decade after that almost vegan (with some cheese). You can continue being vegan and that's fine but imho you will never gain back your health while doing so, not as a celiac. My skin had become so thin after 10 years vegan...
  21. Better to just do the genetic test and if you have the genes just don't eat gluten, pretty black and white. It's not worth taking the chance if your genetically high risk. My first child is due soon and he wont be seeing any gluten until he's had the test, if he's inherited DQ2 from me he will never see gluten while he's under our care. My wifes of spanish...
  22. I just had stomach cramps and diarrhea whenever I ate gluten and later on I had really bad acid reflux and permanent bloating and just felt generally like I was dying, I honestly didn't feel like I was going to live more than a couple more months at the time I finally gave up eating gluten, I was pretty sick. I used to get swollen hands and pins and needles...
  23. Some stuff majorly out of whack with you, I'd fix the Vitamin D for a start since that's easy and something you can certainly control yourself. I'm pretty jealous of your massive Neutrophil count... I have almost none ! well 1.8 usually, it's long way from 7.88. I agree you are very unlikely to have a problem with celiac disease considering you have no...
  24. A severe B12 deficiency gives you numbness and pins and needles in your extremities. Most celiacs are deficient at first diagnosis. I had it bad enough to have numb fingers and pins and needles. How long will it take? how long did it take to do the damage..... wont take that long but it's a very very long process (years)
  25. Diflucan is not very effective against Candida any more, it's also a heavy duty drug that makes you feel BAD. I'd suggest you take amphotericin B instead because it's more effective. The immune system disease I have "Kimura's" is in theory (and I agree) caused by excessive immune system stimulation by candida even a tiny sub-clinical amount while you...
