  1. I started to get noticeable gut pain at age 28. By the time I quit gluten at age 37 after 2 years of really ridiculous bloating. By then I had a world of other Immune system problems but no cancer. If all your blood work is still normal then you should heal up just fine. I'm fine now other than the stuffed up immune system (working on that now). I have a...
  2. I've had this test. It shows up a lot of things and helps you rule out some things, I have eosinophil inflammation caused by gluten damage and a leaky gut, this test showed the reason why when it came back with very high IgE levels. My IgA and IgG are within range I believe but my IgM was a little high (not much) my IgE was 4100!. I will post back my results...
  3. Hi guys I'm back! well we decided to not do steroids today and give Zyrtec another month to do it's magic. Will do another IgE test in a months time and see if there's a consistent improvement happening or if that was a fluke + some kidney testing. Oh by the way my gene testing for Celiac came back positive. I figured it would, nice to know scientifically...
  4. But you wont lose a nut just because it's got gluten on it once or a million times. So long as you get a nut without gluten eventually. You however will lose a nut if you eat them while your gut is damaged. Everyone with a sore gut should read this Open Original Shared Link still after all this time it's the most important thing I've read
  5. There's too many races and species and cross breeds kinds of cows to get milk totally straight :!). Maybe even more importantly there's just as many different kinds of humans and some races are notably not cow milk happy at all. As we know unless you are suicidal you would never go near milk if you were of African decent as nearly 100% are intolerant of it...
  6. I've read a research paper about bacteria in grains that suggested a good sour dough culture can do enough damage to the grains proteins that a true celiac can digest gluten that's been broken down by the bacteria. It changes things a lot. The only reason I'm not doing sour dough myself is because there's yeast growing in it also and I have antibodies against...
  7. I can't drink soy either (until it's cultured) things change then. Often even cow milk becomes digestible as yoghurt. +1 on parsnips and turnip. They are great, taste even better. How much cabbage are you eating? that's something very good too.
  8. Throw probiotics into Soy milk! really. It only takes 8-12 hours in an esky of 35-40c water and you have a litre of the stuff LOADED with bacteria . I bought a baby thermometer to check and keep the water the right temp. I just open the UHT carton and put the biotics in then screw the lid back on and sit it in the esky/cooler. I've got a factory going...
  9. Agree ^ apart from allergic reaction to nuts (that's not to do with us) Almond and nut intollerance problems are due to protein loss through the gut wall (caused by gluten damage) not gluten itself. You'll most likely find Macadamia a bit less trouble, since they have less protein and more fat
  10. You can, if the protein looks very similar to a protein you've eaten before your immune system will "see" it as the original problem. Worse yet your body can mistake your own cells as close enough to one of the proteins that's leaked through, that's how you develop Auto Immune disease. Don't starve yourself to death, try and crowd out the candida with...
  11. Hello yes this is the normal way to go about healing the gut. I haven't done a full elemental diet as far as only vege juice and amino acids go but I have been following a basic version of the SCD diet and it's working for me. I'm taking a bulk ton of probiotics and I'm cheating a bit and taking Zytec to get my anti body levels down. I've actually dropped...
  12. I need to have B12 levels around 1000 to feel OK. But the level itself isn't that important, If I drop from 1000 to 900 I feel just as rubbish as if I drop from 200 to 100.. In any case I like to hold it steady at 1000 because that's what works. Vit D, you should try hold that at 120-150 but certainly over 100. I used to have knees so sore I couldn...
  13. You can easily test for Milk protein and Lactose. and which is what. 1) Vintage cheese has no lactose 2) Greek Yoghurt has no Lactose 3) Goat Milk has A2 milk protein 4) Goat milk has lactose 5) Cow milk has A1 and A2 protein 6) Cow milk has Lactose If you don't get sick on sour Yoghurt's or vintage cheese it's lactose, especailly if you get...
  14. Peanuts should be left in the ground where they belong ! I got pretty sick last time I ate some with rice crackers a few months ago. From your list I'll blame the peanuts and or peppers. If eggs are no problem eat tons of them, its the most nutrition you are going to get with a leaky gut.
  15. Hey guys just another update, got the results back from my current IgE levels. I was expecting to have improved since I have learnt a lot about my body and what it feels like with different levels of stuff in my blood, recently I've regained the "softness" as I call it when all the tissue in my body is supple and my skin is stretchy like a wild animal so...
  16. .You might want to try the allergen test I did the other day, mix some bakers yeast with some water in a cup and drink it. If you get a sore stomach it will explain the soy sauce and a lot of other things (Like an auto immune cycle due to Candida antibodies).
  17. I agree. For me B12 injections CURE insomnia.
  18. I'm still waiting for my teenage hormones to calm down and I'm 41... Apparently high levels of Histamine will do that to you. Gluten free or not hasn't changed anything as far as that goes. Now these vitamins affect most things but B12 is especailly important to a male regarding sexual performance, Vitamin D also but a B12 shot will make you super human for...
  19. Different Probiotics stimulate different Interleukins in your immune system. Forget about colonising your intestines. There's must more important things at play here than that. You can practically play your immune system like a piano with probiotics if you get good enough at it. Steep learning curve but I feel myself I wont get better without learning this...
  20. Hey guys, so only a few more days now until I start my treatment for Kimuras and lower my IgE levels. In the meantime I recovered from the last time I ate out about a month ago and my eosonphillia and neck is back down to normal kind of levels (for me) and my gut has stopped having holes burnt through it. I've been feeling great for at least a week straight...
  21. Hey guys well I'm not doing so well all this week. Pretty painful in the guts actually, the doctors have decided I've got this Kimuras Disease and that it's been caused by leaky gut/esonophilic gastrioentitis and all the above probably by candida. We've decided (and yes my anti drug doctor too) that I need to do a 6 month course of steriods if I'm ever going...
  22. Believe me, I was the hardest of hardcore vegans for a long time so the idea of meat didn't sound like fun to me either. But I was inbetween a rock and a hard place with things I could eat that didn't hurt (I still am). I'm still not well to be honest, might never be.. but I hope I will be. I just think you need to eat as much variation of highly digestible...
  23. Hi Janpell, I'm doing all those tests tomorrow down at the hospital but in the meantime I absolutely managed to trash my neck in the last couple of days ! not sure how. I do have a list of things I ate so I think I can narrow it down.. Now in my last few weeks I have been dipping my feet into test eating gluten, just a slice of toast or something and it...
  24. Sorry but I was vegetarian for 20 years and got sicker and sicker with more and more food problems. A couple of months ago lack of calories and a general downhill slide forced me much to my disappointment and everything I believe it to eat meat again. It hasn't cured me I'll make that clear but it's improving me slightly and at least not sliding downhill...
  25. Wow I hadn't even heard of that one before.. My sores don't look like the typical images on google but I guess I could have a variation of it. I'm pretty careful eating out, I just ate vindaloo and rice, which should be pretty safe. I've actually tested eating wheat in the last few weeks and it doesn't seem to have any pain at all associated with it like...
