  1. Now you must know I love this!!! The perfect excuse! (wishing it was 'national nap day here...I could do it as an olympic sport!!) I like to call it 'power napping' ...I am feeling exhausted today as there was no time for my 30min power nap Our (UK) clocks don't go forward until the end of the month ..I need more light!!!
  2. Love it!!! What about Open Original Shared Link? They actually had several hit records (all farm related songs) in the UK !!
  3. Yes, that's ok too
  4. No, it's only ok to use with 'lactose intolerance' (where you don't produce enough Lactaze enzymes) Casein intolerance means you react to a protein in cows milk (whether it's got lactose or not) Unfortunately casein intolerance means you have to use an alternative to cows milk (e.g rice or almond milk)
  5. Oh excellent!! ..You mean I get to be sophisticated just because I spell with alot of uneccessary letters...and I'm European. C'est Fantastique!!!
  6. Ok thanks NoGluGirl!! Interesting theory! I hope that the longer my son is gluten-free the less likely he is to grind - and if his weight gain is anything to go by in the 5 months he's been gluten-free I'd say he's definitely absorbing better
  7. Darling, you are tres, tres, sophisticat to me !! - you must be if you chose L'arche de Triomphe!!
  8. ...not that I'm don't like some heavy rock.... ..but my favourite tunes at the moment would have to be Red Hot Chilli Peppers.
  9. Hi Paul, you don't say how old you are but generally a rule of thumb is the older you are when diagnosed with celiac disease the longer it takes to heal. Children usually bounce right back once gluten-free. Of course everyone is different. My husband was 40 yrs old when diagnosed and it took a good 6 months or more before he felt any benefit. He also...
  10. Tesco's and Asda also do gluten-free sausages (both in the chilled aisles - Tesco ones are the 'Free From' range and the Asda's are just marked gluten-free)
  11. Does anyone know why there might be a connection between teeth grinding and celiac disease?? - my coeliac son ground down some of his molars so bad he had to have crowns on them
  12. I picked lemon tea as my drink and sleep as a treat!!!!.....life in the fast lane can be pretty exhausting you know!
  13. ....are we obsessed with sleep??
  14. Is it Open Original Shared Link??? If so ,looks ok as they are wheat free.If they had any gluten content (i.e Codex) it would not say wheat free. Looking at that site it looks like most of their stuff is wheat free.
  15. Yup, I want that too!....so serene......
  16. Looking good!!!
  17. Well helloooo!! Nice to 'see' you!!
  18. That is your avatar
  19. Well done you!!! Hope you enjoy having a bit of money to call your own!
  20. That was fun wasn't it?? Pretty accurate too... Mood: Dreamer (oh yes, never get anything done me!) Fun: Escape Artist Habits: High time roller Love: Home Soul (Unashamedly!) You know, I was drawn to some others as well until I realised that *I* have them or do them!!!
  21. Eh?? Clearly I missed the 'Bev torturing niece avatar'!!! (but I love the new one )
  22. ...it's good to know that my choice for 'gross' was the most popular (hairy back guy!!)
  23. Strawberrygm, I cannot applaud you enough for taking the time to research this - blows me away in fact!! Although my son is not a pre schooler (he's 14 yrs!) he does have learning difficulties, so cannot recognise the 'dangers of food' and relies on the adults to make the right desicions for him. Oh the angst we parents of coeliac kids go through...
  24. Try again! Open Original Shared Link
  25. That couple are so funny!! ....there seems to be an (inter)national 'malaise of the funny bone' ...but I'm sure it will come back to us all soon
