  4. Thanks for the information Raven- I think I may just try an at home one next time....it was a really horrible reaction...I will still call them to find out if it contained gluten, but based on my surprise response I would suspect that it is.

  8. If you like carrot cake the Namaste Spice Cake mix is GREAT- just add shredded carrots, nuts, and raisins. Cream cheese frosting and you are set! Very easy!
  9. Simply Savory just opened up a gluten free bakery in Fargo ND (right across from where I live in MN!) and their bread is GREAT! Anyone that lives in this area and is desperate for a truly good bread give it a try. Their pizza crust is awesome as well.
  10. Polenta with doctored up Prego and steamed broccoli....I am in a veggie rut....anyone have any good veggie recipes (preferably cooked as raw veggies don't agree with me presently, hopefully I can add salads back in after I have been doing this awhile) TIA!
  11. Have a good vegetarian side for you- Kilkannon Potatoes...sautee some diced onion with 1/2 bag shredded cabbage....and then stir into a bit bowl of mashed potatoes...delicious! and very Irish! Good luck finding a veggie free main course!
  12. Looking at the results it looks to me that you should not consume gluten....off topic, how long did it take you to get your Enterolab results? (I am considering testing there as well) thanks!
  13. Mixed Bean and Pea soup with Ham....will throw in some veggies to so the whole meal will be done in one pot
  14. Thanks for the response! I LOVE to cook, but my creations tend to either be really good or really UGH Will beat the crap out of my eggs next time off the heat!
  15. Was planning a delicious gourmet dinner tonight, but it really flopped. Instead of a nice creamy sauce for my carbonora it sort of curdled on me. (I served it anyway- hehe and am hoping not to kill anyone). What did I do wrong? I kept the burner on low as I added the eggs and cheese and stirred fairly constantly. Any gourmet cooks out there with advice/ suggestions...
  16. Good for you! My husband makes our breakfast sausage too and it is delicious!
  17. Tonight we're having Sweet and Sour Chicken stir fry with broccoli, mushrooms, and pineapple over rice. YUM!
  18. I'm from Minnesota so we have to have Wild Rice Soup! Here's my favorite recipe although I usually add celery and shredded carrots, and occassionaly cheese to it. Open Original Shared Link

  20. Tonight we are having Corned Beef Hash with steamed green beans. Got a new gluten free cookbook! and it sounded like a fun kid friendly recipe.
  21. Hi- I am fairly new here and have found that going gluten-free has helped my stomach pain, diarrhea a great deal, and even my calcium level which had been low forever is now normal, but potassium keeps dropping and I HATE it. I feel so weak and dizzy and generally horrible when this happens. Is there anything I can do to encourage my body to absorb potassium...
  22. Thanks for this post! I am going to have to try several of these!
  23. I am new to this too, but love this Almond Honey Bread recipe. The cranberry orange bread recipe on this site is also very good. Here is the link for you: Open Original Shared Link
  24. New here- What does DH mean? (abbreviation in the response above this one)
