  1. Hide it or learn to cook like Pear says really thats all there is to it.
  2. Pepto barely touches it for me I was hopeing once my dying gallbladder was out (thats what they eventaully found out about it), that it would go away... but alas...
  3. Went to my GP doctor yesterday and told her that my indigestion has not stopped and my throat was getting worse. Gave me something to coat my throat before i eat and a better acid reducer. Haven't tried it yet (its a 24hour one and my last one was a 24hour one so yeah couldn't take same day). So HOPEFULLY it will help. So my question is, do you guys deal...
  4. you haven't been free long enough for your body to be healed enough. I'd reccomend staying away from processed foods for a while.
  5. Wow, they should just Dx him alone based on his symptoms. The only other thing that i can think of that would benifit from a DX would be something for his school. Has this been an issue before?
  6. Most of the time its a child psychologist that gives the dx for aspergers, not a gp doctor I don't even know how they would do a refrence from there over to an allergy clinic.
  7. There is no dye in the rice chex. Ingrediant list is: whole grain rice, sugar, salt, molassas, vitamin E, and BHT.

  12. nah :< when i made their yellow cake i used chocolate frosting. I only eat a sliver every once in a blue moon (i froze the rest of it), and it doesn't seem to bother me.
  13. thanks for the ideas, and i'll try doing that with my sleeping. Its funny i've went from being almost fully unable to sleep (with a few hours at night, up all day) to this.
  14. i think you need to do it as well. As for your daughter, tell her if she wishes to stay gluten free in college she really needs a DX or else the school will do nothing for her. Even if its just an officail "you are intolerent to it" is better than where she's at now.
  15. i try to eat meals that are porportioned. There are a few times when its not but, mostly it is. No idea with fat intake :/
  16. oooh good ideas eveyone. Ended up not making it yesterday (went to watch something on tv and crashed didn't wake up to later and decided oh well on it). I will make it today though.
  17. I think part of my always tired issue is that i'm not eating enough. I'll sleep from about 11pm-4am then be up till around 4pm where i'll crash until 8pm (or later ). Food has been a big issue at the moment because my throat is so irritated and raw from my indigestion that anything that coats it (like milk) or is acidy or spicy or anything besides sweet or...
  18. she sounds exactly like i was prior to diagnosis I was small and remained so until i was eight (think i was still wearing 2T clothes at this time), then i somehow had a growth spert in there. I'm still short today (5'4") where my parents are closer to 6' I had (and still do) have issues with aspergers and adhd (medication never worked for me)...
  19. Alright i'll give you an example: say you own a cat and never had cat allergies. For whatever reason you had to get rid of the cat and you move on with life. A year or so later you (can be shorter) you go to visit someone with a cat and realize you do have cat allergies but you have never noticed them before because your old cat help'd keep them at bay...
  20. vanicream is hypoallerginic.
  21. it'll get better, trust me. I was like that for the first month then i started too see some improvement, and well any wanting for gluteny things went away. I will say the other day i was in walmart and i was in the veggie area and glanced over at a table with halloween treats and just sighed.... I've got to find out how to replicate the frosting they...
  22. Normal reccomendation is anywhere from 6months too 2 years. I personally tried at 5months and have done fine with it.
  23. Sounds like you might have both celiac and another condition (which starts with a g that i can't think of which has a hard time digesting meats). Only way to know is to go in and get tested.
  24. Hun it can take up to two years for everything to be totaly healed It takes time, 6 months really is just a drop in the bucket.
  25. I was like that once upon a time. I was addicted to marshmellows and M&Ms Kid you not i'd go through a bag of them once every two days or so. Then i started to get sick and i had to eleminate them and... well... i became afraid of them (and you can see where this is going right?)... that broke that habit really quick. Needless to say, i'm still...
