  2. WEll they despreatly need a decent webmaster LOL Have you used them? Are they legit?
  3. I can not imagine the vast quantiy of fries you would have to eat to get enough gluten to be detected in the blood test, meanwhile your eating posion. Heck even if hteres not gltuen in them, that much fires would be very unhealthy No thanks!
  4. ACK!! YOu mean I have to throw out my plastic colander too, even if we washed it throughly and no longer, ever, make gluten pasta?

  7. OKay, thanks to the new labling laws alot of foods that are labled gluten-free, now say stuff like "Processed in a plant with wheat" , things like mission corn toritlas, Amy's stuff, and etc. How big of a deal is that in reality? I feel like theres a point like some one mentioned were whe will say "Processed on a planet where wheat is grown", heh.
  8. Well CC can be as bad as eating the thing its self.. or not. Thats the problem with CC, it removes all assurances. FOR EXAMPLE: Your son has a wonderuly gluten-free treat to eat. Your son decides to dunk it in his milk, and your sons's frend thinks thats a good idea, and dunks his gluten full cookie in your sons milk to, then yoru son drinks said...
  9. You know , all this would be solved if McDonalds would just make some kind of offical press realease that explained why they feel that thier fires are gluten free eventhough they contain wheat. If they just explained it, then everyon could make an informed decsion for themselves. But instead they officaly state in writting that thier fries have gluten...
  10. Well Richard, that does not seem to fit with this statement from McDondalds website, Which says the wheat is in the natural flavoring. I have been assuming that natural flavoring is added to the oil, so why would they take it back out? And what processing could there be to remove the wheat from the oil? If the natural flavor is not added to the oil...
  11. Richard, where do you get the information that they removed the wheat form the oil? I am sorry if I missed somthing but the offical answers I have heard form them is that the process of parfrying has removed the gluten, and that is why my example holds true, IMO. If they removed the wheat form the oil, then they would not have to say there was wheat in the...
  12. Popkli3221, Please understand first off i am not a doctor, how ever I do have a degree in statistics and that covers anylis of test data, so that gives me a little authority to speakhere, but agian I am not a doctor or pretend to be one. A biposy can NEVER rule out celiac disease. It can only rule it in. A bispoy is NEVER "negative". The proper...
  13. To be fair and honest, McDonalds has NO choice in the matter but to say there is wheat in the fries, that answer is currently dictated by the new laws. The question is not "was there wheat in the fries" anymore, the question is "Is McDonald's calim that the GLUTEN was removed by the PRE-COOKING process" No one has yet been able to state a single way that...
  14. (from other thread... ) I finaly found out what "parfry' is. You deep fry at 375° F for about 4 minutes or until strips are cooked but not brown. Its to prepair them for freezing for storage. The FDA calims "enzyme systems are destroyed" and this alowsd them to be store "between 0 and -18C" for up to 24 months with no degrading of the product. ...

Panfry To cook in a hot pan with small amount of hot oil, butter, or other fat, turning the food over once or twice. Seirously, how many of you are willing to go get some wholewheat bread, fry it up and eat it? If you NOT then you should not eat McDonalds...

  18. Well, I still want ot know how this magic "panfry" she mentions removes gluten? If all we have to do is "panfry" our food to be say, then that changes just about all comon knowledge and reseached wisdom that says you can not cook out gluten. When a fact is in direct opistion to current knowledge it shoudl not be tursted with out resaonable evidence that all...
