  2. Well if you do that maybe I can find it in my heart to forgive you for ignoring me
  3. Guess no one liked my idea! I did not mix well with Boy Scouts, but if my son wants to try it out, we will give it a go, but I would agree that dance + girl scouts would be a bit much to ask of a 6 year old.
  4. I have dyslexia too, and no other then the normal brain fog stuff, gluten has no impact on it that I have seen.
  5. Alos many ppl have troulbe with other foods, esply dairy till they heal enough to handle it. Might want to look in to other food issues.
  6. ITs worse then that, some ppl liek me and my son will NEVER show postive on the main "screening" test, and yet still have celiac disease. Only the full panel might find it in our case. (Well did in his case, I never got hte full panel!)
  7. I hate to give you bad news but some ppl take a year or tow for all teh symptons to clear up, assuming they stay gluten-free....or at least mostly gluten-free.
  8. Bah! Start your own chapter of CELIAC SCOUTS!
  9. I do not know the origin of the rule of thumb, but I can say I think its totaly wrong, and I would go with the numbers in the FAQ. Thats just based onmy expence.
  10. Everyone gets gluten from time to time, alot more in the beging, and its gets easier as you go beucase you learn to build your "comfort" zone of products that you know are safe, and you can always use. OF course some stupid manufacture will "improve" a product on you and UGH!! But yes, everyone has struggles, and it does get eaiser...
  11. SUUUUURE and you just happpen to list altiods first, randomly? Searching this board I found this post Open Original Shared Link THat seems to say that Tictacs are gluten-free as of April 2003. I could not find any info on thier web site, so that post is all I can point to at this time.

  15. I would love to try thier K-Too's but $10 shipping on one box of cookies stops me! Most of their stuff has egg in it so not like I can order alot to make up for shipping.

  20. WEll I only know 3 ppl with celiac disease out there in the world... Me, my son, and one of his teachers at dayschool. So thats 2 guys, 1 female! Not exactly a huge sample LOL WEll females have more genes then males as I recall... so it might just be your chances are higher cause you got more chances to win the disease lottery so to speak...
  21. I would suggest against the biposy, ou ahve POSTIVE BLOOD WORK, thats enough, you have celiac disease. IMO. As for the first poster, let me ask you this... what will you gain? Is it worth it to return to the way you were, eplsy since a biopsy now has a pretty good chance (even wiht a month) of being non-postive reguardless of you have celiac disease or...
  22. Really? Funny out there in the real world I know twice as many men with celiac disease as woman...
  23. Perrigo is realy getting annoying. Seems like that about 1/2 the time when we call on thier products they are not gluten-free. We gave up using them for while, but they had a buy 1/get 1 sale on childerns ibuprifon (aka Motrin), so I picked up 2 new bottles, and BOTH have gluten in them (as verified by calling in the lot number to Perrigo)!! Ugh, now I have...
