  2. Cheerio's is primary Oats, and therefor can not be safe, unless you just like the shape? I have seen gluten free ceral in that O shape on the shelf in my store, but do not recall the name....
  3. WEll, I owned a jucier, I though it be great fresh fruit and veggie juice and all that. Got the "Juiceman" or somthing like that. Well we ended up giving it away.   4. Well depends on your age,I was told some time around 30-35 you loose the abitly to reverse damage, and can only STOP/SLOW damage at that point. I have heard cases of ppl older then that reversing, but as I understand that is the execption not the rule.

As I recall if you are lowon vit d this can happen becasue teh soda has alot of phospahatus or somthig like that in it, and that needs ot be in balnce with vit d and calcium, and if you have to much phosphate your body needs to sumpliment its calcium supply by hitting up your bone stores. Sorry the details are vague right now....
  6. Someplace around here I have a list form carnation, we use thier instant breakfastest to sumpliment for a while. My son hated the pedisure stuff, but toddlers are known to be picky! Search the old posts here I posted thier gluten-free list a while back, and they are made by Nestle, which is a "safe" company. Just an alternative, my son like them at least...
  7. Ye,s we are more prone to it, I was jsut tested for it a week or so ago, came back negative. Its one of hte many side effect of not getting all the nutrients out of the food. THe good news is onceyou gluten-free and aboarbing normally again you can dramaticly improve your chances of not getting it.
  8. Yes PE Tubes in his ears. We are used to travling with large quanties of food, so that wont be a problem. How long was her recovery? When did she notice a postive change?
  9. Yea its outpatient. THey calim the procedure only takes 5 mins.
  10. I may one day get in to a professional interpreting program but for now I am getting free lessons via local churches. I started the lessons around 2 years ago, but learned about all I can in the one class, and just started the tutor last week.
  11. Are you fluent in ASL? Or Signed English or Pigeon English? I currently in a Signed Eglish class and started with an ASL tutor in addtion. Most deaf around here use a mixture of all three.   12. Welp our 2 1/2 yr old son(with celiac disease) has failed his FORTH successive hearing test, completely failed, total 0. I know he can hear cause he responds sounds, but this could be a part of why he is not talking. Is there any gluten/celiac disease angles I need worry about here? They said they will put him out with gas and they have noted on his records...

  19. Because of how usefull they are in baking, I would love if we can get oats on the safe list, But I am not sure how best to test, esply since I am no where near fully recoevered. I would not give them to my son though, no way! WHen he is old enough to make that decision, then he can. I wont put him through that... but for me, heck Im stupid enough to try most...

  21. We actully do bring a list of notes with us, but we reraly need to look at it anymore. You just get uesd to what is safe to buy, and stick to that. As for your question about the list, yes. thats exactly right.
  22. We use ALOT of Kroger products, and so far we only had to skip 2 things that were not gluten-free. If you call in the middle of the day, I think its liek 10-3 or somthing, thier dietitian can tell you if somthing is gluten-free or not.
