    I think she will be fine. I can't remember anytime ever having my locker mates lunch on my stuff. I'd be much more concerned about the lunch tables. They were never wiped in between people. We have to be careful to not make them scared of the world but cc is a real issue. I don't think the lockers are but the tables might be. Send some wipes!

    Just wanted to let you know of a few regular grocery store items for this. This helps if you need quick access and cheaper than specialty. The Dinty Moore Compleats have 2 that are gluten free. The Dinty Moore beef stew and the chicken and rice. If your child can use a microwave for 90 seconds (or have a teacher do it in the lounge) then those are good...

    The Cantina bowl says no wheat or gluten. Am I missing what you are seeing? I do wonder about the gloves and stuff like that. My dd is not sensitive at all and I would never know. It is so hard!

    We have not had anything from taco bell since December. I just read on a gluten-free blog that they invited a celiac just to introduce the new Cantina menu. They have a salad and a taco made from a corn tortilla. The meat is not supposed to have gluten like their other "meat". There were reviews where even sensitive celiacs didn't react. Anyone here try them...

    That's horrible. Since I live with a type 1 I can't imagine. My dh and I were both tested for celiac after my dd diagnosis. We were negative. Now y'all have me freaked out that 1/3 are wrong. I was wondering in the shower if my test was wrong!

My friend was told she had MS only to discover it was really Lyme. gluten-free helps that too so she is also gluten free. But she was tested twice and told told no also.     I don't know the brand but when I asked at our theater, I got the same answer! "Uh...it's just popcorn." I made them give me the label and it literally was just corn. It was totally gluten free. They used the scooper just for the popcorn so I think it was safe. I let my daughter eat it. (Child size) Now, I am not celiac and will get violently ill on...

    I should clarify that my oldest has no GI symptoms. Who knows if the celiac caused the others autoimmune. Dh is type 1 so we just have bad genes. Celiac child has 2 genes for celiac. Uggg! I am hoping the fact I breastfed number 2 will help. If I had known I would have done it with number 1 but I was stupid and fed her soy formula for a year!

    It's ok if we disagree! I am fine with answering. And I might be wrong! Who knows. But my girls have no symptoms. I think it is easier to believe negative results when they can eat a loaf is bread just fine. I may think differently if my kid was sick. I am sure I'd doubt the results. I am not willing to call her celiac with negative tests and no symptoms...

    yep...ours did the same thing. You'd think when you pay for the tests that the results would be included! I had to drive 3 1/2 hours to get them! The nurse did call and tell me to go gluten-free but the actually results and what to do, I had to go in.

A doctor is making a lot of people mad because he got up at an EoE conference and told them that blood tests are useless and your body will make antibodies to everything you eat.     My dd is allergic to tree nuts and peanuts but sunbutter is ok. I guess flower seeds are fine. Pumpkin seeds are ok too.

    Let me tell you what I'd do. First let me tell you what I did. Mine had the pos TTg and EMA and I chose to scope her since she had no symptoms.     Well we got back the 6 month mark test results on my 12 year old daughter Yippee. They were normal! TTg had been 164 and it was now 8. I had been very anxious since she doesn't have symptoms.     So can people in the US have them or did you react to the Canadian ones? I looked at the shake and bake glaze after hearing Canadian ones have wheat protein. I looked and ours did not? Why not make them the same?
