  5. Me? A home made waffle? That's funny Irish and before you ask, I have no waffle iron. Would it be worth it to get one? Colleen
  6. I won't go within 50 feet of a buffet...just sayin. Colleen
  7. I have yet to meet a gluten free waffle that was tolerable. Hehe Colleen
  8. I can certainly eat cheese on Thanksgiving. Would love the recipe Karen, Thank You. Colleen
  9. lol. Ok, Panko = bread crumbs. Sounds good to me. Thanks, Colleen
  10. Marilyn, That sounds excellent. Thank you. What is graham Masala? Colleen

  12. I eat out about once every two months. That's just me. I have horrible reactions so I just don't chance it anymore. Colleen
  13. I need recipes for the following dishes: Creamed Corn Casserole Green Bean Casserole Fresh cranberry salad And....is there a way to make rolls without a food processer? Thanks Foodie Friends, Colleen
  14. If your Doctor is suggesting Plaquenil then he must suspect an additional Autoimmune Disease which would go with your positive ANA. Of course if your getting cc'd then that would explain the continued AI response. Plaquenil is an immune suppressant and it tough to tolerate. I would push for an additional diagnosis. AI Diseases like to have friends ...
  15. Van's also has a very tasty cereal called Cinnamon Heaven. Yummmmm. Colleen
  16. Like so many I also have less frequency and no longer take any medication for them. If I do get glutened, migraine is a hugh symptom and only over 4 hours of medicated sleep will stop the severity. Colleen
  17. Interesting. I will put possible supplementation on the list. My creatine number is within normal range but does hover on the low end. Creatine: Range .60 - 1.10. Mine ranges .63 - .78, past year range, 10 reading. Thanks Colleen
  18. Hi Wheatie, and welcome to the forum. A Capsule Endoscopy does not use radiation so that is not a concern. It uses a radio transmitter to deliver pictures to a receiver. You may be confusing it with a Virtual Endoscopy which is like a CT scan. If I'm wrong about this I will surely be corrected Your Doctor is probably trying to rule out other causes...
  19. I really haven't noticed anything that helps. Getting healthy seems to be a life-long journey. If you find anything specific about what might be going on, let me know. Colleen
  20. Just from reading others stories, malabsorption seems to be a problem. Along with that comes deficiencies with vitamins. Other AI issues also seem to be common. There are currently no tests available to measure if Celiac will occur in the future. I hope this helps. Colleen
  21. I have the exact same thing. It's like you have to make a concerted effort to swallow. I also feel like there is something in the throat at times but have been assured nothing is there. And, like you, it's not all the time but regular enough to be concerning. I've been told I'm crazy, maybe it's true Unfortunately I have no advice for you but know you...
  22. That study has no bearing on why the omega's would mix differently in digestion which is what you are proposing or am I missing something? Colleen
  23. Nicole, MCTD and UCTD are on the list of possibles too, especially the Mixed. Lisa, I kinda connected the LDH, Glucose and B12 myself. As far as malabsorption, it was one of my first diagnoses years ago, and judging from the end result so to speak, it is still an issue for me. I've been gluten free for almost 2 years now. And you wouldn't know...
  24. Wow Irish....I saw your recipe for pie crust and I think I blacked out from panic at that point because I missed the link. I got it saved now, Thank You. Thanks Lori, I am confident it will be delicious (Irish made me say that) Colleen
  25. See, that's just the thing. It is such an off the wall type of gene mutation that something else must be going on. So if you went on a very low carb diet would you increase certain fats at the same time? and what fats would easily convert to energy? I'm also looking at this...Open Original Shared Link because I have a un-diagnosed connective tissue...
