  1. just posted this on your other thread: sometimes it helps me to hear others say, I can understand your frustration. I am not IgA deficient, but the only test that was positive for me was the DGP IgG, and it was a strong positive. I had the endoscopy done, and it was negative, but even the doctor said the damage could have been farther down. In the...

  4. back to update again- so I'm feeling much better! I use the bathroom regularly. It's not always a well formed stool, but it's a regular movement, so I'll take it and my anxiety has lessened! I received my 3 month celiac, Vitamin D and Vitamin K results ordered by my GI: celiac panel had everything negative again except: Deamidated Gliadin...
  5. great I don't have DH, but I've read so many times about how the doc biopsied the actual blister, so it was essentially a wasted appointment good luck!!
  6. good luck this morning!! hopefully you get this before you go if you aren't aware already, "Dermatitis herpetiformis is only diagnosed and confirmed by a dermatologist obtaining a slight skin biopsy from uninvolved skin adjacent to blisters or erosions." the above is copied from the diagnosis category on this link: Open Original Shared Link if anyone...
  7. my advice would be to write down questions you have before hand. Personally, I get flustered, so I write my questions down before hand that way I don't forget anything. Maximize your time with the doc I'd expect that they will schedule the biopsy for a future date during your appointment today. good luck, and let us know how it goes!
  8. yep I had brain fog. I can't count how many times I said, "Physically I'm here, but I feel out of it mentally." It was like an out of body experience feeling. the fog has lifted going gluten-free!
  9. hi jen, I started a thread about this https://www.celiac.com/forums/topic/101959-gluten-cutter-digestive-aid/ you know the saying if it seems too good to be true... I hope you feel better!!
  10. responded on another topic about periods, and thought I'd come back and update this one. 3rd period was manageable, but my 4th period started almost a week early (yesterday) with painful cramps...grrr I also felt nauseous today, and I never feel that way.
  11. so glad you're getting answers!!
  12. it's only my 4th period gluten-free, so I am very hopeful things will improve. My boobs were never sore pre-gluten-free, so maybe that's my new signal that it's coming because they have hurt before each one since going gluten free. I'm two days into this one, and I have had painful cramps today. my period also came 8 days early...yuck a little back...
  13. thanks for helping to clear up my confusion!
  14. so looking more into casein, I wanted to be sure Culturelle's adult probiotics did not have any. Here's my exchange with them: Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding Culturelle. 16. welcome are the genetic markers you're referring to HLA DQ tests or antibody tests (TTG, DGP, EMA)? If it is the genetic markers of HLA DQ you're referring to then the next step should be to get a complete celiac blood panel drawn. a complete panel consists of: Comprehensive Celiac Panel: DGP iga/igg ttg iga/igg EMA Total iga serum-this...
