  2. A friend made us a treat with oats and now I have a rash on my cheeks. It probably started to show 3-4 days after consuming the oats. I have quite a few food sensitivities and am trying to determine if it was contaminated oats or a couple of new foods I tried out. Thanks.   3. I'm with TessTess on this. You probably have an underlying food intolerance. You should also journal to keep track of everything - foods and symptoms. I would definitely get rid of high offenders - grains, processed foods, soy, dairy, sugar, yeast for a couple of weeks and eat lower carb. good luck.

  12. My doctor(s) wouldn't test me for Celiac because I don't have gastrointesintal issues but I had so many other things going on. "Food is not your issue" I believe I was told. I quit gluten two years ago and my issues have cleared 90-95%. My son was tested at age two and his test was covered by OHIP.

  23. So we got After Eights (chocolates) as a gift and see that glucose is an ingredient and in brackets says "from wheat and/or corn". How does this work with all products containing glucose? This is the first time I have ever seen the source stated following glucose.
  24. I can have free range eggs but not the commercial ones. I also have to watch where I get my chicken and turkey. Sometimes I react to it them and other times it is fine. Frustrating.
