ARCHIVED Is Genetically Modified Wheat Common Now-Days Responsible For This Condition?
CommonTater replied to UnhappyCoeliac's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
My Dr. is convinced there are many health issues today like Celiac and more Cancers because as he put it, "They are playing God with our foods, the wheat, corn etc... today is NOT the same wheat our grandparents ate." I agree with him. We eat clean meats and try to buy organic. -

We bought a bag of the Maninis Open Original Shared Link Bread Mix to try and it was REALLY good. You don't store it in the fridge or freezer, it has a shelf life of 5 days.... -

ARCHIVED Does Anyone Have An Electric Tortilla Maker?
CommonTater posted a topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
I'd love to buy one because I just can't find flour tortilla's, at least not good ones. In the past I tried using a tortilla press and it just didn't work out well, they kept shrinking etc. I think maybe the electric one that presses and cooks would work better for us old folks. Does anyone have one? I'd like recommendations. Thank you. -

I just ordered these after reading the reviews. They will not enable you to eat gluten foods according to the people who have used it, they are more for people that accidently get a little gluten, like from cross contamination. Open Original Shared Link -
