  1. Do you mean kanker sores?
  2. I've only had two sinus infections in my life and those were bad enough. I can't imagine what pain you are in. It's a shame that the antibiotics didn't get rid of it for you. Sorry, I don't have any advice, but I hope someone else can help you.
  3. I eat Glutino pretzels and I am extremely sensitive. By the way, they are delicious. I also eat Glutano breakfast bars.
  4. Isn't it great when you can find a product like that. I don't know what part of the country you are in, but Save-On Foods has a good gluten-free selection.
  5. Awesome, I work outside and it is supposed to be a hot one tomorow. I'll need some electrolytes.
  6. I was away for a week for work and I brought those as a snack. Now I know why I was sick. What a bunch of crap literally. Man, that sucks.
  7. Is Powerade gluten-free?
  8. That's great to know. Last winter I could've used some Neo Citron but I wasn't sure if it was safe.
  9. I buy mainly Manny's corn tortillas at Safeway. I've also eaten Grimm's and Western Family. They are all small, but Manny's are the thickest.
  10. You can get Mrs Mays products, such as the almond clusters, at Costco. Nevermind, I just read the post that said these are no longer gluten-free. So, don't buy these.
  11. I'm using Coppertone right now because I can't get California Baby up here, but it has worked well for me.
  12. I love cross country skiing. Corinne's advice was very good. I definitely agree, start with the waxless skis without metal edges. I've had mine for several years and I love them. I agree, find a boot that fits well first and then get the ski binding that matches the boot. We have a bunch of outdoor stores here and I have got my gear from three different...
  13. I can only eat the Lays Natural product line. I tried other Lays products and I got sick many times.
  14. That's really great. I am so happy for you.
  15. Other than my husbands breakfasts and lunches which include regular bread and non gluten-free deli meat, everything else is gluten-free.
  16. I know what you mean about having one bad doctor or dentist and then you always worry that the new ones will be bad too. Pretty comprehensive and I agree with Matilda add how the gluten challenge affected you. Good luck with your appointment.
  17. Casein is in all dairy. Lactose is very low or absent in hard cheeses. So if you eat hard cheese with no ill effects you may be only lactose intolerant. It's been one year since I went gluten-free, so it could be that I have simply healed enough to handle cheese again. Time will tell, but so far so good. I'm not ready to try any other brand or type...
  18. Well, I'm still eating Kraft swiss cheese everyday and I haven't had a problem yet. It could be that possible that I'm not casein intolerant anymore. One can always hope. I tried goats cheese in the past and I got quite sick from it. But I may be okay with it now.
  19. Weeds & Seeds sells gluten-free products. 211 Bear Street (403-760-5060) Coyotes restaurant has well trained chefs and they should be able to accomodate you. It is just down the road from Weeds & Seeds. Banff has a population (5000+) of many locals that make low wages but still have to eat there. You just have to get off the main street...
  20. Mine seem to work in the beginning and then after a few weeks they don't work anymore. Who knows. I'll keep experimenting.
  21. I know this sounds crazy, but I am determined to try everything when it comes to cheese. I am eating a little piece of cheese everyday to see if I can build up a tolerance. Just so you know, I would never do this with gluten! I will keep you guys posted as to if my little experiment works. It must be my science background coming out, sample size of...
  22. If you know someone with a Costco card, you can get a large jar of almond butter there.
  23. Listen to your body when it comes to gluten-free diet. My tests were negative too, but my doctor saw the vast improvement in my health and said, forget gluten, it's not helping you.
  24. Yes, it has corn and rice in it. My non-gluten-free husband also prefers it to Tinyada.
  25. Holy Adidas problem! I got a rash from Tom's too around the time that it stopped working.
