ARCHIVED *****fyi***********&Link to websitede caps replied to mouth's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications I had no idea that there was gluten in sun screen. Which brands have gluten? I use the spray on ones from the can (store brand). I have melanoma and need to be careful in the sun. I can't believe I may have been glutening myself all this time. Thanks for the info. Donna

I am debating if I should join one of those women's Thirty minute circuit training gyms. I went for the free trial workout today. It seemed easy and I am far from being in shape. The instructor there did not know if this workout was good for preventing and improving osteoporosis. I have pretty bad osteoporosis due to celiac disease. I don't want to waste...

ARCHIVED American Idol Fans?de caps replied to blueeyedmanda's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff I'm a fan of Blake's and I think he might be going home tomorrow. I hope he has enough fans to keep him in. Jordin as usual was great. I hope she goes to the finals.

ARCHIVED American Idol Fans?de caps replied to blueeyedmanda's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff I read about Gina's tongue piercing in this month's People magazine. It is the current issue with the contestants on the cover. I have no problem with the piercing. It certainly did not hurt Gina's ability to sing with it. I respect her for not allowing the show to change who she really is. Good for you Gina!!

ARCHIVED American Idol Fans?de caps replied to blueeyedmanda's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff Simon, Paula, & Randy put Sanjaya there. It's their fault if he wins and ruins the American Idol Show. I think Hayley should have gone home instead of Gina. I read that the producers told her to remove the tongue piercing or she would loose the mid-America vote. I guess they were right. It is becoming so difficult to watch one of my favorite...

Hi, This sounds like my last pregnancy. I was not yet diagnosed with celiac yet. At around 15 weeks I developed palpitations, shortness of breath and chest pain. It intensified by the 20th week and I was hospitalized. They thought I had a blood clot and I had the "million dollar workup". I was put on strict bed rest (imposible with two other small children...

ARCHIVED Chinese Food--is The White Sauce Ok?de caps replied to jdp364's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications Technically it should be gluten-free. Did you tell them to make it gluten-free and use newly cleaned utensils and a clean wok? If not you can get sick. I found this out myself the hard way. I tried my local chinese place a few times without success. I explained everything to them but it never worked out for me. I now stick to PF Changs for gluten-free...

It is the Wholefood's own label. Follow the link in this thread. It is simply called "sandwich bread" It beats that frozen gluten-free bread anyday. I haven't had any luck in any other restaurants on the south shore of LI. I have gone to Mc'Donald's and had fries and a salad without problem. The Mc'Donald's in Wantagh (by the LIRR) cooks the fries...

The bread is their own label. It is at the bakery counter with other gluten-free stuff like muffins and cookies. I like the "sandwich" bread. You can get a list of all their gluten-free products on the Wholefoods web site. Open Original Shared Link
