  1. The fries are not safe since they use the same oil for their chicken tenders and onion rings. I only had the grilled chicken salad without the marinade (marinade had barley in it). I would go back again to the Scranton PA restaurant. Donna

There is also Wholefoods in Manhasset. Cafe Baldo is a Gluten free restaurant and they make gluten free pizza. They are in Wantagh Hope this helps. Donna
  3. I just returned from a trip to Scranton, PA with my family. We went to Johnny Rocket's. It was my first time eating out since my diagnosis. I was pretty nervous and afraid I would ruin our trip by getting sick. I especially didn't want to be sick during the three hour car ride home. I explained to the waitress that my meal needed to be gluten free. ...

  9. ]I had a very high alk phos for two years before a diagnosis of celiac disease was made. I also have a history of melanoma so my primary doctor thought I might have bone mets. Your wrist, hip, and spine. My bone sensity came back showing severe osteoporosis. I could not believe it, because I'm only 38. No one can agree on the right treatment for me. ...

  14. I was told yesterday by an endocrinologist that I should not continue to breast feed because the celiac disease antibodies can be passed on to the baby. My two other children were breast fed and do not have celiac disease. Has anyone ever had any experience in this area? I don't know what to do. My GI doctor never told me to stop. I would appreciate...
