  1. I was told by my Doctor to take 400mg of Motrin. It's anti-inflamatory properties help to pull the redness out and take away some of the pain. Feel better soon.
  2. I had no idea that there was gluten in sun screen. Which brands have gluten? I use the spray on ones from the can (store brand). I have melanoma and need to be careful in the sun. I can't believe I may have been glutening myself all this time. Thanks for the info. Donna
  3. I am debating if I should join one of those women's Thirty minute circuit training gyms. I went for the free trial workout today. It seemed easy and I am far from being in shape. The instructor there did not know if this workout was good for preventing and improving osteoporosis. I have pretty bad osteoporosis due to celiac disease. I don't want to waste...
  4. There is also Carrabba's on North Dale Mabry (813) 265-9844 Bonefish Grill on the same road (813) 969-1619 Fleming's Steakhouse W. Boy Scout Blvd (813) 874-9463 I'm sure you will find a safe place to eat down in Tampa. I did.
  5. I'm a fan of Blake's and I think he might be going home tomorrow. I hope he has enough fans to keep him in. Jordin as usual was great. I hope she goes to the finals.
  6. I read about Gina's tongue piercing in this month's People magazine. It is the current issue with the contestants on the cover. I have no problem with the piercing. It certainly did not hurt Gina's ability to sing with it. I respect her for not allowing the show to change who she really is. Good for you Gina!!
  7. Simon, Paula, & Randy put Sanjaya there. It's their fault if he wins and ruins the American Idol Show. I think Hayley should have gone home instead of Gina. I read that the producers told her to remove the tongue piercing or she would loose the mid-America vote. I guess they were right. It is becoming so difficult to watch one of my favorite...
  8. Another week of Sanjya. When is America going to get it RIGHT?
  9. Hi, This sounds like my last pregnancy. I was not yet diagnosed with celiac yet. At around 15 weeks I developed palpitations, shortness of breath and chest pain. It intensified by the 20th week and I was hospitalized. They thought I had a blood clot and I had the "million dollar workup". I was put on strict bed rest (imposible with two other small children...
  10. I hope you feel better soon. It happens to all of us, especially in the beginning.
  11. Technically it should be gluten-free. Did you tell them to make it gluten-free and use newly cleaned utensils and a clean wok? If not you can get sick. I found this out myself the hard way. I tried my local chinese place a few times without success. I explained everything to them but it never worked out for me. I now stick to PF Changs for gluten-free...
  12. I'm so sad to hear about the Whole Foods gluten-free bread. It's my favorite. Nothing comes close. I hope it is back in stock very soon.
  13. Jordin, Blake, & Melinda-------------Final three Definitely the most talented of the top 10

It is the Wholefood's own label. Follow the link in this thread. It is simply called "sandwich bread" It beats that frozen gluten-free bread anyday. I haven't had any luck in any other restaurants on the south shore of LI. I have gone to Mc'Donald's and had fries and a salad without problem. The Mc'Donald's in Wantagh (by the LIRR) cooks the fries...
  18. I belong to St. Frances in Wantagh. I was told they can only offer the low gluten host. Are you sure it is gluten-free? Donna

The bread is their own label. It is at the bakery counter with other gluten-free stuff like muffins and cookies. I like the "sandwich" bread. You can get a list of all their gluten-free products on the Wholefoods web site. Open Original Shared Link

I forgot to mention. At Wholefoods they have incredible gluten-free sandwich bread. It doesn't need to be toasted. It is up at the bakery counter. I wish I lived closer, it the best gluten-free bread I've ever had. Living on Long Island and having Celiac Disease isn't so bad. There are lots of places to find gluten-free foods and restaurants. In...

  23. We decided to fly now. I think the kids might be too small to sit in the car for two days. We'll probably drive next year.
