  4. I know....all I can think of is a burger and fries!
  5. burdee, Is that the Natural Color Care Shampoo or the Color Reflect? Thanks Yes, Proctor and Gamble is notoriously uncooperative when it comes to discussing allergens/gluten. I will not use their products.
  6. I just hung up the phone with Josiah at The Woodlands, Texas Red Robbin. I asked if they had a gluten-free menu and when he said they did I asked if they prepared the gluten-free foods separately and were aware of the care needed to keep gluten-free foods separate to avoid cross contamination. He told me that the manager is very aware of Celiac, and...
  7. Wow--thanks everyone for the info on Red Robbin. I have one nearby, but didn't realize that they recognized gluten-free. I haven't had "restaurant fries" in over 5 years! I may give it a whirl
  8. You said a mouthphul there, Kharreign and this
  9. I had neuro issues that went away gradually after I went gluten-free. In the months before I was diagnosed, I had an "altered feeling" in my left arm. It was constant and somewhere between numb and asleep (the best I can describe it). For the better part of a year, that's all, and then other things began happening--I would get numbness in my face ...
  10. Sounds like it should have wings and be oh-so absorbent
  11. Hi henny--I had a hysterectomy after being gluten-free for a couple of years and actually had the same thought! Happy to report no worsening of or additional symptoms.
  12. Have you tried Kirkman Labs? They have a hypoallergenic line and are the only multivitamin and vitamin D supplement that I can tolerate. Open Original Shared Link
  13. Suz--I was able to open all of them.
  14. Just from reading here for several years I have seen mono be a trigger quite a few times. I think you are on the right track suspecting Celiac. Best of luck
  15. I kinda figured...ironic when you think about it
  16. Yum!! I'm making this the next time we want pancakes Yes they are. I can't do tapioca, so I always substitute either potato or cornstarch--or a combination of both.
  17. One of my Celiac symptoms was feelings of burning--in my mouth, on the soles of my feet, and at times I felt like my face was literally on fire. My skin would get hot to the touch--but not red. This was not a result of a fever--it would happen randomly. After I went gluten-free, it subsided and hasn't happened in years now. It took probably a year-...
  18. When I lived in SJ, I shopped at Whole Foods and Wegmans for my gluten-free items. Shoprite also had a decent gluten-free section but that may have changed.
  19. Oh honey, you have my sympathy. Without going into detail I know what you are going through--she will never change so you have to be on guard at all times where she's concerned. Of course it's none of her's or anyone's business what you spend on groceries or anything else. That doesn't mean she won't keep harping on it until she gets another bee in...
  20. I missed you too, Soozle--and nope, I didn't realize you were gone too No back pain--all in the neck, shoulder, and head....for weeks now. Wanted to let you know that the pillow did help a great deal. I think I'm sleeping better too....I had an older "memory phoam" pillow that I got I think about 6 years ago. It was great, but probably slowly it...
