  1. Jess, When you get a chance, could you post a picture? He sounds cute!
  2. I love Nashville! When we lived in Georgia, we used to spend Christmas vacation at the Opryland Hotel. We'd decorate the indoor terrace, and hide the boys' gifts in the trunk until they were asleep! Santa would find us there. We even had a church that we'd go to on Christmas Eve--St. Joseph's--right near there. It's incredible there--the whole town...
  3. Hi Dani Of course I remember you! Welcome back I know that if a person isn't absorbing nutrients, it's possible it could affect his hair. I lost quite a bit of hair when I was anemic. I think the vitamins are a good idea for him--and it's great that he's on the diet! Let us know how he does
  4. Yea, Alfred--get in here! I've had about enough of this
  5. Albert? I thought it was Alfred
  6. I agree with the others--probably the oils in the soap were irritating to you. I use this--it's fabulous-- Open Original Shared Link
  7. Oh, ok Just my feeble mind not processing again!
  8. Yes, but that was completely different--the person was sick with an infection, and thought it was just her Celiac and was trying to figure out what she ate that was doing it. I suggested that it was something else entirely--and it turned out to be a serious infection--unrelated to the Celiac. That's what was meant by 'thinking outside of the box'. I...
  9. I know--you can only pack so much in a cooler The travel group is a good idea!
  10. As someone who was told it was all in my head--I was just "sensitive"--for over 20 years, I would like to add my sincere thanks! My experience, like so many of us, was very similar to yours, Scott. I was reading through the thread in question this morning, and was so happy to see that you stepped in. Hey Bev, thanks
  11. I could see it now--my cross-country Celiac adventure! Seriously, if we did this, I'd have to work it out so I could at least stop and meet as many of my friends as possible. I'd really love to do it--maybe next year Yea, I know what you mean. It's a whole different reality we have--
  12. Sounds like it would make more sense for you guys to just come during the week you're up here. We're very flexible--no problem there. As far as the 'toddler' goes, we raised 2 rambunctous boys and lived to tell about it The little guy is perfectly welcome here.
  13. Hi Kathy Ann, It's best to rinse the crumbs off so they can't fly around the dishwasher and adhere to the dishes once dry. I edited this because I thought I read washwater
  14. Hi David-- Glad to have you here
  15. Yes--my mom told me about this
  16. I'm not going to tell you to go with the flow! If the doctor dosen't call you back in a reasonable amount of time, call him. I completely understand that feeling of wanting to jump out of your skin, you get so nervous waiting. I get the same way! I'm nervous FOR you! Post as soon as you find out. Gosh, can you imagine if this is it ...
  17. Actually, it would only be about 20 miles out of your way--if you come up 95 to 295 thru Delaware, over the Delaware Memorial Bridge, were right off exit 52 A or B. Or off the Turnpike at exit 5. Then, Toms River is about an hour from here. And I can guarantee that Tim wouldn't get glutened or anything else-d here Remember, this is the home of Mrs...
  18. Yea Rachel--the window will be fine--we have a large one over the front door, too. The pressure washer is the greatest thing for mold--on siding or on wood--like decks. You don't even need bleach--just the water pressure itself gets rid of it. It's really amazing, when we clean the deck in the spring for the first time. Looks like new again.
  19. We are about halfway between Philadelphia and Trenton. You could hit us on your way to Toms River, which is east of us. That would be fun if you could visit--definately let me know whenever! You already have the address Any new developments on the adoption?
  20. What is it about this subject that seems to attract everybody
  21. Years ago, I went to Austria, and their toilets were the same way! No water until it flushed--I had forgotten all about that As I remember, the toilet paper was fine, though.
  22. I would love that! Seriously, any time you're up this way, let me know
  23. Hi Ryan--welcome back! Can't wait to hear more about your trip
  24. I did the same thing, only with personal care products, Jestgar! I thought--no way am I going to care about this stuff, too.... But, I stood corrected (or should I say sat )
