  1. All I can say is wow!!! I just got thru the 3 1/2 pages since I went to bed last night. It was pretty quiet in R'ville yesterday--I must have left just as it was getting good Actually, I had to go and finish painting the woodwork in my bedroom --it's looking good in there, but the progress is slow! Today, I have to go to Home Depot to get the wall paint...
  2. This histimine thing is interesting. I have taken Claritan for 12 years, only stopping last year for a while after I was diagnosed. It helps me feel better overall--I swear it used to help calm my stomach during the years I didn't know what was really wrong. I have to tell you all--I've been off the filtered water almost 2 weeks now, and the heart...
  3. Rinne and Ryan--Can't wait to "see" you both!
  4. Don't know what happened there, but I was trying to post this link to a discussion on apnea-- Open Original Shared Link
  5. Here's a list that might help a little-- https://www.celiac.com/st_prod.html?p_prodi...-49106415031.1f
  6. Me too! I'm going to look for them this weekend I just called the company, and their gluten-free message hasn't changed, all M & M products, except for the crispys are gluten free.
  7. Robbin--Before you paint the whole door, try the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Chelsea--Glad to see you up and around today! Sorry about your jerkface landlord
  8. From a gluten standpoint, millet is safe. Here is a list of safe foods, if you click on "millet", there is more information on the various grains-- https://www.celiac.com/st_prod.html?p_prodi...-28106133399.86
  9. Fiddle Faddle, Maybe you could answer this for me. Would a regular brand of potato starch from the grocery store (I see them in the Kosher sections) be alright for us? I always buy Ener-g, but have to make a special trip to get it. Thanks!
  10. My suggestion is to call the manufacturer of the drug yourself. The gluten-free drug list may not always be completely up to date. Any time I have called a drug company, and this includes generic, they put me thru to a pharmacist or nurse who answers my questions. All have been very nice and knowledgeable. You can get the phone numbers from the pharmacist...
  11. E-w-w-w! I would have freaked out, too! Well, look at it this way, tonight you'll go to bed on all new, fresh linen I also tore my bed apart this AM--shook out all the sheets, cover, etc. I could not find one of my gold hoop earrings (my absolute favorites, wear them every day) last night. Anyway, I just found it--all the way under the bed, almost...
  12. My husband had Lyme Disease last month. He was due to leave on a trip, and I noticed a round rash on his arm with a red bite mark in the center. I told him he should get it checked out before he left--he then told me he had been having a stiff neck, and headaches(!) Long story short, it was caught early, and 3 weeks of Doxycycline cleared it up. Although...
  13. Hi Robbin, I found this for you-- Open Original Shared Link
  14. I stopped eating dairy 2 years ago, and have not had any sinus problems since--I used to get them a lot before.
  15. The slipper fit...your vest turned into a velvet cape....and the sunglasses that were holding your hair back turned into a tiarria....it's the magic of Rachelville
  16. I know--still spooky
  17. Julie--oh, I mean, Your Majesty--you're back
  18. I like "I'm A Believer"--very suitable!
  19. The reason is that it is so easy to get things like shampoo, conditioner, lipstick and lotions in your mouth. I glutened myself early on with my hair gel.
  20. Good to hear that it went well, Carrie. I was worried about you! Now that your appt is over, I have to tell you--I made your Velvet Brownies today, except I substituted potato starch for the flour. They taste very good--the potato starch changed the texture, I'm sure, but it was good to have a brownie again
  21. I love this one!!!!!
