  1. I'm confuzzled about this Soozle news I was over on FB and musta missed it. Youse guys are not gonna believe this--the floor guys left around 4 and I started to clean up and threw some towels in the wash. As I'm vacuuming, I swear I smell something burning, so I follow it and the laundry room smells liked burned rubber and there is smoke in the air...
  2. I took Norvasc for years--it's definitely gluten-free. When my insurance company pharmacy switched me to the generic, I had a terrible allergic reaction. I now take Lisinopril (not a Calcium Channel Blocker).
  3. Well, on Wheel of Fortune we would have to buy you....I guess that means you're special, course we already knew that
  4. Try roasting your veggies in the oven with olive oil, fresh garlic, and sea salt. I've done lots of different veggies this way--it works with anything.
  5. Loving all the critter tales My kitty used to love ice cubes in his water. I have to say, and this is the perfect forum....for the longest time, I thought that Cooper had legs that looked like a little boy's. I completely missed the actual boy's legs in the background.
  6. ....and whilst I was gone, Nik had a baby girl who may or may not be named Bunnie??
  7. On second thought, this makes what happened yesterday look good I didn't know WIH to do wif all the wet towels, so they are in a phrozen pile on the porch
  8. Aw thanks Twas a rare thing, but I wasn't on the computer at all yesterday. Mark had to go back last night to get back to work (he took yesterday off), but I'm thinking I'll just stay till Saturday so he doesn't have to make the trip to come get me after work. I just hope the washer is hooked up tonight--I've been here since Friday night and don't wanna...
  9. I'm here--we are having a floor installed in my son's kitchen and laundry room. It was supposed to be done yesterday, and suffice it to say that everything that could possibly go wrong did. The installer--whom we have known for 15 years and did mucho work for us when we lived here--decided to remove the hot water heater, which is the right way to...
  10. I'm still unable to tolerate coconut, tapioca, legumes, and soy. I was intolerant to dairy and corn but have been able to reintroduce them successfully. Dairy after 6 years, corn after about 3. I'm still careful not to over-do it with the corn.
  11. I'm in--most of our stuff is still in storage from the last move so it'll be easy
  12. I have eczema on my eyelid--have had it on and off for years. Going gluten-free helped for a while but it came back. It causes the lid to be itchy, red, and puffy. Doctors have told me to use Hydro-cortisone cream, which I have from time to time but prefer to just use a moisturizer. This time of year it's more common for it to flare up.
  13. There are always exceptions but the Internists I've seen really have no idea about Celiac. They have always suggested that I see a Gastroenterologist when I begin asking questions.
  14. Gee, Boston would have worked too.....well living in the New York City area is pretty cool And if Philly come up, I'm there a couple weekends a month at least. Just sayin....

  18. Lecithin doesn't bother me, I can tolerate the oil once in a while but not too many times in a row.
  19. Loughy honey, I'm thinking about you. We went through similar the last few years. It's not easy with things up in the air, that's for sure. Bun-knee!!!!!! Good to see ya
