  4. Hi and welcome. Mono can definitely trigger Celiac--I've seen many here over the years who feel that their symptoms began after a bout. Mine kicked into high gear after a bad case of influenza.
  5. You haven't started it yet ????
  6. Also, I have had luck with making the meal enough ahead of time to be convenient and so I don't end up eating the same stuff 2 or 3 days in a row. I like to freeze the leftovers in meal sized plastic containers--then all you need to do is microwave when it's time for dinner.
  7. Try going into your settings and un-checking DST.

  11. I thought this thread might be helpful again, as I've been reading many posts from folks dealing with super sensitivity.
  12. My advice--use dish cloths that you can wash daily. Take a clean one and wash your dishes first--and the pans that you use. The drying rack is fine--maybe stick yours towards the front to keep them together. Wash the rest of the dishes, clean the sink and dry and put away your dishes, silver, pans with a clean dish towel. For counters, use...
  13. I heard that too--and I concur about the Spectrum oils. They have gotten me in the past so I avoid them I use Bertolli and Filippo Berio olive oils--extra light and extra virgin--depending on what I'm doing with it. Never a problem with those.

  16. The best way to figure out if something is bothering you is to eliminate it for a week or so and then re-try it.

  18. Another vote for Tinkyada Brown Rice Pastas. Our favorite is the spaghetti--the trick is to use a large pan with a lot of salted, boiling water. Stir often, and begin testing for the doneness you prefer about 5 minutes or so before the package directions say to.
  19. Here, CC means cross contamination.
  20. I know that the Classic Syrup is gluten-free. Your best bet with Starbucks is to call them and ask about the items you are wondering about.
  21. <snackle> I'm sure they would--my son's girlfriend's family owns 2 florist shops and I had a ton of vases building up at one point. I finally asked if they could use them and she said definitely.
  22. I bring my own food with me everywhere. It's entirely possible, even when traveling out of state. I brought my entire Thanksgiving dinner all the way from Houston to New Jersey last year. I made it ahead and froze it--and we went by car. If you fly, it would be much simpler..... You could also shop when you get there and use disposable pans from the...
