  1. I really don't think there is TMI with us, we have all been through the same s$#& ( literally). Just had to throw that one out there. It seems that we all have problems with hard to digest foods, veggies seem to be a big one. If you didn't have an endoscopy, you really don't know how damaged you poor intestines are. It could just be you are still healing...
  2. I am starting to think we could be doctors ourselves lol. I know about being over doctors. I am in so much pain right now but don't even want to go. I would have to go to the ER and I don't know how many times they have treated me like I am a drug seeker even though I am allergic to damn near every narcotic. Bastards
  3. I have days like that too. It's so hard not to fault the doctors since they are the one's that have given us crap for years - IBS, depression, anxiety, chronic constipation, slow moving bowels, Grave's, Arthritis, Bell's Palsy( this is one of my favorites), Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, chronic vaginal itching, urinary pain, joint pain, mediastinal masses...
  4. Right there with ya woman. I am 37, look like I'm 27 thanks to all the weight loss, and feel like I'm 97. Just takes time to heal, so I'm told. I was thinking today I need a vacation. You know of any islands out there that are 100% gluten free, soy free, dairy free, egg free, corn free, garlic free.... Where pain isn't heard of, and doctors don't think...
  5. Some people on here are really good about the tests results. Amazingly after being a Med Lab Tech for 16 years I know nothing about these tests. I am a relatively new celiac also, so no help there. From what I understand, it's more likely to have a false negative than a false positive. My daughter was just diagnosed and her tTg IgA was >100. She...
  6. Today I don't have any nausea, no vomiting, no D, just the unbelievable pain. I am actually hungry. I didn't think it was a glutening either. I am trying not to freak my kids out too much but they know momma doesn't feel right. I had to go take a bath so I could cry. Thanks for the reply's Karen.
  7. I was thinking the same thing, but I have never felt this way before. If I didn't have two kids here right now and could drive, I would be on my way to the hospital. I just don't want to go and have them tell me I'm and idiot and somehow glutened myself.
  8. You know the answer, read your post. It's all there in black and white. Your tTg IgA was 110 on gluten and then dropped to 8 after a gluten free diet. Not everyone needs a biopsy for a diagnosis. I am not saying this to be b%$@#y, just reading between the lines of your own words. I am pretty sure you know you are a celiac. Pregnancy only last nine months...
  9. I was glutened about 10 days ago. The only thing that has stuck around for symptoms is the brain fog, it won't lift. Two days ago I tried eating raw carrots for the first time since my diagnosis, I had about a handful of the mini's. I felt fine for about 5 hours and then I felt awful, stomach pain, the big D, nausea and a headache - all from carrots. I...

Oh my brain fog- SSDI is what I am applying for. I am not older than 65 lol, so it's not SSI. That being said, I am getting my medical records in the next few weeks. I guess it takes a while to print all that crap out from four hospitals. I know it says to not wait until you have all relevant medical evidence but I want to make sure I am as prepared...
  11. I didn't mean any of that to sound b%$@#y, having a bad day.
  12. I don't share everything on this web site. My brother has had problems wetting the bed his whole life, before the drinking started. My mom wanted him to go see specialists when he was 12 ( not a beer drinker then). Now it only seems to be a big problem when he drinks. He has been wetting the bed for 30 years. I should have been more specific. Sorry...

    ARCHIVED Disability

"Should be" and " It is possible" really don't give me a time frame or a guarantee that I will feel better and able to get a job. Last I heard arthritis in your spine isn't reversible. Might be due to my celiac, but it's something I have had for eight years and is getting worse. Evidence seen on MRI's. I can't sit or stand for extended amounts of time....
  14. This bed wetting thing is interesting. My 30 year old brother still has problems with bed wetting, usually only after a night of drinking beer ( full of gluten). hmmmmm.
  15. That's good to know. I seem to react to them the same way I do gluten. wonder why?
  16. I wasn't feeling all that well when I had my procedure, but I am pretty sure you will be able to work from home the next day. The only problems I had after mine was a little memory problems of the day before but that is normal. I would take a endoscopy over a colonoscopy any day lol.
  17. Are there mushrooms in the sauce?
  18. I know no matter how many times people tell me to stick to whole foods right now while I heal, I have a hard time doing it every day. After years of misdiagnosis, most of us are so sick it takes a long time to heal. I know if I have too many different foods right now, I get sick. If I have too much sugar, I get sick. Can't have too many raw veggies, if...
  19. Take the advise of the physician EIGHT years ago and go 100% gluten free. Read the newbie thread, learn about cross contamination. If the rash isn't going away or getting better, it might mean he isn't 100% gluten free. If he didn't take the advise of a physician eight years ago, what makes you think he isn't being "stubborn" because his wife is making...
  20. I will try and get together some recipes for you, it might take me a few days. I actually have plans today and feel well enough to keep them lol. This celiac is so difficult. I can't imagine having five kids a few jobs and going to school. You are my hero! Like people have said though once you get everything down pat it will be second nature. I will get...
  21. Sorry that your little one isn't feeling well, it's hard to see them that way. How well did you clean your home? Did you get a new toaster? Did you keep your pots and pans? I am just wondering if she still isn't getting small amounts of gluten from cc. Have they said anything about yeast overgrowth? I know you upped the probiotics but a 10 day...
  22. Based on your stomach symptoms alone I would bet you have celiac. I would also suggest getting your thyroid checked. I had a lot of dizziness and tiredness when my thyroid took a digger. If you are worried about the endoscopy, wait until you get your lab results to see what they say. Is the 800 dollars just out of pocket expenses for you or is your...

Thank you Adalaide. I hope everything works out for you in the end. It seems that the legal system and even the medical system just doesn't understand what we go through and the mental anguish this damn disease causes unless they have been through it and have their own personal experience with it.
  24. I really have no way to say all of this without someone taking some part of it as I am being hmm, let's say cantankerous, I prefer the word blunt. From what I understand from your posts you have had an endoscopy that has shown damage consistent with celiac but your blood results were just barely over the upper limit of normal so you don't have an official...
  25. now I want a taco.
