  1. So just went to Kroger cuz I'm on the verge of broke til payday Friday (tow trucks and starters are expensive) and got enough food to get through til Friday. Looking at some pizza, I saw Diaya brand for the first time ever, and it was on close out for $5.29 a piece (cheaper than Udi's and bigger). Sad thing is I think close out means it's going away. :-(...
  2. Making me wanna go to sams now. :-/
  3. I'm not gonna read this whole thread, I've had too good of a day today and just reading half of the original post is starting to make me mad. So I will reply to the part of the OP that I read... I have had a doctor in the ER at "the top medical facility in the area based on patient care and reviews" tell me "you don't have to be eating gluten to take a wheat...
  4. Ummm....send me his portion of the Mac and cheese!
  5. That location wasn't on the list for early on. And I don't always carry my gun with me. I've got another place in mind for an early on picnic....found a hidden waterfall today on the route I was on. :-)
  6. That's funny you say catholic, I was raised catholic. But it's a baptist church (and I'm not gonna start the religion convo either). But she sings with the band, so she has to put up her microphone and such afterwards (and the pastor tends to get a little long winded sometimes)
  7. As far as tTg IGA, it is known and documented that celiacs can have a low IgA count to begin with. If your doctor is saying your low ttg IgA is a negative for celiac, he needs to run an "IgA total count" to see if it's normal or deficient. On the other hand, you don't have to be positive for the IgA tests to be celiac. Looking at your last test (the IgG...
  8. This is creaking awesome! I gonna go check these things out. I deliver mail for a living, which means driving around in a hot aluminum box all day where it's about 15 degrees hotter in the truck than it is outside......which means no keeping drinks cold in a regular cooler. But if I can find one semi-compact this would be killer sweet!!
  9. I'm not liking amazon much right now. My office (I work for the US Postal Service) began the "same day amazon delivery" today. Ugh! Makes my job even more fun. :-/
  10. Beth, I have to know (and don't want to go to how store right now and look) which reeces is safe??
  11. I haven't had an unexplained migraine since diagnosis. I have had explained scent induced migraines (ppl, please do NOT douse an envelope in perfume then stick it in your mailbox for the carrier to pick up. Spray the letter a time or two, but don't soak the envelope and all in perfume!). But with my TIA, I literally exhibited every stroke sign. I was rushed...
  12. Laura, yes I can carry a handgun...and now I can bring it in the bank, a bar (no alcohol with it though), and church since I have my concealment license. SMRI, a 2pm deadline doesn't work. Church starts at 6pm and ends about 7:30pm. But I have decided after something that happened today, this Sunday I'm gonna do it one way or another. Now I just need some...
  13. Help soothe it? I haven't found anything for that. :-/ I have to just let it run it's course. When I get glutened, within a short time I will feel like I haven't slept in days. A couple hour later, the horrible abdominal pain starts. By the next morning, I get to add brain fog to the list (to the point last time I couldn't remember a very regular customer...
  14. I just started a new thread with a link to a study released March 29, 2014, that's briefly states celiac patients have "an increased risk of stroke". I am curious on that thread how many people have had unexplained TIA/Stroke. I'm looking for the full study now.
  15. So the only major health problem I have had that celiac didn't answer was a TIA at age 22. Blood work, CT scan, MRI, ambulatory EEG, etc, all showed nothing abnormal, so my health records list it as "idiopathic ataxia of the left side, possibly TIA". Someone posted something about TIA being celiac connected, so I just did done googling. There's a bunch of...
  16. I will have to look for those, especially since I've been craving some garlic bread!
  17. I may have to get some Udi's baguettes then. I've never seen Shars anywhere.
  18. I was thinking picnic down the line actually. And I know of a few places. One in particular has this amazing view, but I have to figure out the police patrol first (it's way up in the mountains, curvy roads and 30 minutes from cell phone reception, but the police have to patrol it cuz there was a murder there a couple years ago). I just don't think the cops...
  19. I still have yet to find good gluten free bread products though. I know you were kidding. Adoption, does that mean I also get back-pay on helping with college?
  20. BlessedMommy, a TIA is celiac related?!? Mitchie, if you are that bad off when you eat gluten, I agree with the others....you have to ask "why do I want to hear the words said?" If the answer is "so others will believe me," then I hate to say......that will not fully work. While some may believe you, there will still be many people who won't. The most important...
  21. Haha. Not really looking for my moms age...or married since I've been cheated on myself waaaay too many times. (And they say being a respectful gentleman is good
  22. My plan is Starbucks (I know she loves Starbucks and they have bottled water I can get and a rather good "marshmallow dream bar" IF it's still in the plastic wrap). And yes, I am a chicken.
