  1. Yes, I am a starving artist and always quick to sniff out a bargain!

Donna.....wow! lots going on, I am excited for you!

there is significant staring now.....gotta take the girls out. Oh, I think I have a job. don't get all excited though everybody.....it's nothing important. Just selling art supplies.....I think I can handle it.

    :)

I can't help it, I'm excited for you! The only thing I love more than making jewelry is using art supplies, lol!!!! Just got rid of a bunch, but kept a few "just in case"...a former obsession of mine...painting...and all the accessories.

  2. Yep, I've had THREE endoscopes since April! Really, it's not bad at all. I don't remember anything after they administered the sedatives until I woke up in the recovery area. The worst part was the pin prick for the IV and even that wasn't too bad. I was fairly groggy for a while afterwards on the first scope, maybe because they also did a colonoscopy at the same time, but the second and third scope I came out pretty quickly. By the time my mom dropped me off at home I was completely coherent, lol. After each scope I had a VERY SLIGHT sore throat...hardly noticable really, which went away by the next day.

Oh, and about losing weight...that depends I think. I didn't need to lose or gain, but I gained 10 pounds, but in my case it was because I went CRAZY on gluten-free foods like cookies, brownies, cakes, etc. I hardly ever ate that stuff before, but something clicked in my head and I ate them like a fiend, lol. So be careful of the junk food, lol. :P

  3. Nope don't think I need the cards either, lol. I think you're right Rachel...not many on this thread.

Oh, Andrea, those berries sound good! And, wish I had a dollar for every duh moment I've had, lol.

Well, my appointment went well. I didn't get to finish with the internist though, but did have a cervical spine Xray, got my first "mini" adjustment with the chiropractor and had my physical therapy evaluation.

You know, I'm almost as excited about the chiropractic and the physical therapy as I am about the rest, lol. My Xrays show that my spine tilts to the right (at my neck) and from the side, I have a "forward head" and my spine angles sharply at the neck...gosh wonder why my neck hurts so much, lol. Anyway, Dr. chiropractor thinks that can be correct. The PT will help by strengthening the muscles that need to be strengthened in order to correct my posture, which isn't horrible, but just not right. At one point the PT was feeling around the back of my neck and she hit one spot and she asked if I got a lot of headaches, to which I said yes and she said "behind the eye?", um YES, lol. The spot she touched at the back of my head has something to do with that and it's being pinched because of my forward head, lol. Okay, typing this out sounds too funny, and I'm cracking myself up, lol.

Anyway, I'm excited about the exercises and stretches they will give me.

So, as a result of today, I have appointments EVERY DAY THIS WEEK, lol. They couldn't get a day that combined them, so I'm having to split them up.

    Tomorrow - Nutritionist

    Wednesday - amalgam removal

Thursday - PT and Chiropractor appts

Friday - finish with the Internist

    Phew!

Oh, and did I mention that the mini adjustment was just ONE adjustment and it hurt like hades, lol.

Pssst...I spoke too soon about someone on this thread wanting the cards, lol.

  4. Yep, see, it's that job interview thing I HATE, lol. Good luck on yours!

I really do work for a nice bunch of attorneys...that's another thing I'm afraid to leave, lol...the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Andrea, I plan to just do what I can, but the nature of a law firm is kind of chaotic at times...can sit here for hours with nothing to do and all of a sudden there will be 20 all due now. :) In the past it wasn't such a big deal because there were 4 of us, but now it'll just be me. Right now we have some limits or guidelines on what they can give me, but the email on Friday basically said there will be no limits. I've been there before and it's not pretty, lol.

  5. OOOOHHH...is today the day for Donna's amalgam removal??? I just barely skimmed the posts....if it is Donna...GOOD LUCK!! I hope everything goes well for you. I trust that guy so I feel confident you're in good hands. :)

Nope, amalgam is Wednesday, lol. Today is my first adjustment, my meeting with the PT, finishing up with Dr. Carrie and Xrays.

  6. Susan, thanks for asking about the party, it was the party that killed future birthday parties.:angry::ph34r:

I'll have parties again but they will be smaller and only the people I invite. I was told it was a great party and people enjoyed themselves and I did somewhat but there were a few people who seemed to think that I would be happy to take care of them, one in particular, someone I barely know who came with another friend, was drunk and everytime I turned around he was gleeping onto me. At one point he slurred, "this is a great party, I should have come last year" and I thought and you weren't invited last year and there is no way there will be a party next year. :(

I know it is just part of the changing I am going through but even with my sweetie at one point I asked him to help me feed someone, who assumed that because I was on a special diet I would be able to meet their special diet, and he was like, "don't boss me around". It just blew me away that people who know I have been ill, that I was away for testing, and had returned Friday night just assume it is business as usual. I know that I am competely responsible for this situation and I am clear that I will be making different choices, choices that include ending relationships in which I don't actually exist. In conclusion, during the party I felt like I really needed support and there was none.

Wow Rinne, I'm so sorry! I liked the way you phrased "relationships in which I don't actually exist". I've had some like that and it is so draining and frustrating, but so healing once they are done with.

  7. Hope all goes well with your appointment today. I'll be waiting for an update if you feel up to it afterwards. Work.....bummer, anyway that can be made better?

Thanks! My appointment is at 3:00 (actually I have two, one at 3:00 and another at 3:30 with the physical therapist) and they're taking some Xrays besides that, lol. If it's anything like the appointment on Friday, which lasted 1.5 hours, lol, that means I won't get out of there before 4:30. It's all good though...wouldn't have it any other way right now. They are being thorough and I like that, lol.

Regarding work, I just can't see it getting any better. The attorneys/secretaries are really unhappy with the way things are--they can't get their work done and I really don't blame them for being upset. Currently they are supposed to be sending stuff to one of our other offices and I do whatever can't be sent out, only apparently the other office can't do all the work in a timely way. Friday the manager told me that since it's not working they will be sending EVERYTHING to me and I have to figure out how to get it done. If a WHOLE department can't do the work how can I? So, basically, I'll be doing what 4 people here used to do all by myself. I've pretty much decided my only choice is to look for another job which is less stressful, I just hate the thought though and the timing sucks, lol, but I just might have to do it. I've been here for 15 years! There is no way I can do all the work for very long and be healthy and right now I think I have to put me first.

  8. A word on the adrenals, I think it was Susie that asked.....there are several resources for exhausted adrenals. The book I used as a reference, The Schwarzbein Principle II, she is an endocrinologist I believe, and struggled with poor health herself. She existed on sugary snacks for years, every candy ever made, every sugary individually wrapped treat. Her advice for getting off the sugar is to start with fruit. Every time you want something sweet go for the fruit to ween yourself off the sugar. At first you might be eating a lot of fruit but it is essential you break the sugar habit, then with time you can eat less fruit as your body gets more regulated.

****Special thoughts going out to Donna as she prepares for the first quadrant of amalgam removal this week. Shes already had so much dental work, and jaw issues/pain, this can't be easy for her. You are in my thoughts Donna, that all will go quickly and smoothly :):)

Thanks for the tips on adrenals...I'm soaking it all up. Thanks for the special thoughts! It really makes a difference!!! You are amazing to me (I mean that in an awestuck, wish I could be strong too way, lol). So glad the worst of it passed and you didn't have to go to the emergency room.

OMG Donna we were watchign that show too! It was crazy...and then other shows on Food Channel, I think one was called Unwrapped - - all the candy, it was making me crazy and my mom said, Should you be watching this? to which I replied...I know, it's like porn or something..... Donna - - you're in my prayers for your week ahead - - and hope you feel cleansed from the crying meltown - they always help for me. :)

It's exactly like food porn, lol.:lol: I hate to cook...if it doesn't fit in my little frying pan it doesn't get made, lol. BUT, I LOVE watching the food network and I buy all kinds of cookbooks, what's up with that, lol. Food porn.

    Hi Donna.

Know you've ck'd on me and sent nice notes. they have not gone un noticed..just haven't been posting but reading alot of your and Carlas posts with such interest and printer so many that now need a new printer cartrige..

anyway. read reviews of A F in 21st century..and they were all good. tried to find to ck out of library but they didn't have it in the entire system. I'll look into 'tired of being tired'

    It sounds good too.

carla have your read both of them?

Thanks for all the info even tho you didn't know how much you were helping me.

    hugs

    judy

Thank you Judy!!! You are always so kind and sweet even in the midst of all of your problems! I bought mine new at Barnes & Noble by my house, can't remember how much, but somewhere around $15 I think.

I'm feeling a love fest coming on again. I just love each one of you!

  9. Take the adrenals ... I do, it helps. It's gross to think about, but I also take glandular thryroid and have for years. Once yours start working on their own, you can wean off it, but I feel so much better since taking them -- and I was hesitant, too -- that I recommend taking them if you were told they'd help.

You are doing just what I was doing .... laying around and not getting up, stimulating the adrenals with caffeine, sugar and cardio!!! Eating right when you get up would be good. When you stop the caffeine, it's difficult. The book actually says that it's dangerous to stop caffeine, sugar, and everything else cold turkey, but I did before I read that!! :o She goes through a formula of how to cut back on caffeine.

I am doing no cardio at all right now, except some light walking. Just stretching type exercise and some light strength training. Then I eat immediately afterward to keep the adrenals from being stimulated.

The book was Tired of Being Tired by Jesse Lynn Hanley, M.D. There's another one I haven't read that I can't remember the title of either, but it's something like adrenal fatigue: the 21st century ... something or other.

Thanks Carla! I do light weight training too...one body part per day for 6 days a week. I'm going to look for "Tired of Being Tired" too. The adrenal fatigue: the 21st century....is the one I'm reading now. I go back today to finish my "interview" with the internist...and am bringing all my past labs so she can see that, then I think she'll order some more tests. The book I'm reading had some home tests to do, one of which is a blood pressure test...the internist did that test Friday in her office and my blood pressure dropped at least 10 points when I stood up. I did the eye test at home...where you shine a light across the eye in a darkened room...I could watch my iris struggling to stay closed and then eventually dilating again, which is supposed to be another sign of adrenal fatigue.

  10. Sorry about your meltdown ... it's too bad the stress is here to stay, but you're right that you need to be doing everything else you can. I still need to buy that book, I read a different one that was also good.

The diet is pretty simple, in theory, not necessarily applying it  . Several small meals all featuring protein, first one in the morning because your adrenals are trying to get going. Most people with adrenal fatigue, prefer to not eat in the morning, but it's important. No sugar, alcohol, or caffeine. Limit fruit because of the sugar. No hard exercise, only relaxing exercise. Lots of rest, to bed by 10. It's amazing how much of a difference these changes have made.

Thanks so much Carla...the exercise thing too...I didn't think of that, but because of the fatigue I've cut way down on the intensity, but probably not enough. I've been using the treadmills here at work in the last couple of weeks because I haven't felt well, and felt like it would be easy to stop if I felt bad (when you're outside walking and start to feel bad, you've got to turn around and walk all the way back, lol). But, I've been walking pretty fast and have used the incline a little which is probably just too much right now. Perhaps I need to rethink what I'm doing.

I eat in the mornings but I usually lay around in bed for a while cuz I'm so darned tired when I wake up, lol, THEN I jump in the shower and blow my hair dry...I eat right after that but it can take me well over the 1st hour after I wake up. I think I just need to get up when I wake up for a while, or maybe keep a snack by my bed.

I've also been binging on sugar and candy and have been drinking EXPRESSO in the mornings to wake up! Yikes!

The two good things I do is no alcohol and I have been eating 5-6 small meals everyday for years.

What was the book you read?

She's got all our negative energy, too!!! It's all directed to the Bulldogs!!!

    :lol::lol:

Donna, I am thinking about you. :)

Thank you! And me you, lol!

    Donna-

it sounds like you have been going to so many appointments lately that alone could be contributing to why you had a meltdown.!! I have been really on edge, emotional lately- maybe its the change of season and we are all being affected- who knows. Well I hope you are well today and your drs appts go well

Thanks Mia! You may be right! It's great to finally find some doctors who care, but I have to admit that keeping all these appointments IS a little stressful. I think that will get better soon though...it's hard in the beginning because they need to establish some sort of baseline to find out where I am, but I think it will settle down shortly and I'll be able to go less often. I'm not going to make any other dental appointments until January...this one this week is a two parter, so I'll have one more after this week to finish what is started on Wednesday.

I've been so emotional too! The change of season just might have something to do with it too...I usually LOVE fall, but that still doesn't mean it isn't affecting me, lol. Work is just really dragging me down too and I just don't see that improving any time soon unfortunately.

Donna, Sometimes things just have to come to a head. You've been processing so much lately, it's no wonder it all got to you. I think crying is necessary and helpful sometimes. I hope today is a better one for you :)

Thanks! Was feeling pretty decent til I got to work, lol. I don't think ANYTHING can change that. :P

Julie--If you're reading and not posting because of your hand, I'm sending get-well wishes your way

    DITTO!!

  11. I too am afraid of forgetting someone, but have to say that I have really been helped by so many here. Of course, by ALL the posters on the OMG/Rachelville thread for their support, friendship and laughter and my goodness, to Rachel--24, who has practically given me all her doctors, lol.

But there are others who probably wouldn't have any idea they've helped me: Nini, Tarnalberry, Vyderscope, Penguin and so many many more who have regularly answered most of my newbie questions.

I'm so sorry if I've forgotten anyone!!! Thanks to all who help!

  12. Hi to everyone...glad Susan is feeling better today! :P

    Hi Donna! :D

    When's your appointment this week?

Good to see you here on the weekends again. :)

Hi Mom, lol! I have an appointment with the HN doctors tomorrow and an appointment with the mercury dentist on Wednesday for my first removal. Forgot to ask him what he uses instead of amalgam and whether the test to make sure THAT stuff is compatible, lol.

what about SCIENTIFICNESS, which is a word we use a lot, and relevation....do you think they think we are really stupid?:lol::lol:

donna..... me too....(getting better though). Sorry about your meltdown.....hope you're okay :)

Either really stupid or aliens, lol.:lol::lol: Oh, wait, shhhhh, don't tell anyone, lol. Yep, I'm better now. Had a little crying session on my knees and all is well. Momentary downness.

  13. Hi Claire, welcome!

Susan, the sugar stimulates the adrenals like caffeine does. When they're not working right, we tend to want to use exercise, caffeine, sugar and alcohol to stimulate them. Eventually they get fatigued. Put that on top of stress and chronic illness and they get very fatigued. For me, I took care of the stress and gluten intolerance, but now my adrenals need rest so they can go back to where they were before when I was vibrant and energetic. At first getting off sugar is very hard. After two months without all the bad stuff, I am starting to feel what it's like to have normal adrenal function and I'm realizing that it's the first time in my life that I've had it!

Thanks Carla! I needed to read this today. Had a slight meltdown a little while ago, lo. I bought the book Adrenal Fatigue: 21st Century.... yesterday and have read a big portion of it, but haven't gotten to the diet portion yet, lol, so am so happy whenever you post tidbits like this. I am totally eating WRONG for let my adrenals rest, lol. The stress is probably going to be with me a while so I think I'd best get busy on the stull I can control easily first.

  14. Gluten causes inflammation and I am thinking all the while starving the body of nutrients, the lack of nutrients leads to the adrenal system being depressed and a lack of true rest, without rest we turn to those very things which inflame us because the initial inflammation is felt as agitation and we interpret that as energy. What do you think?

Wow, sounds like exactly what has happened with me.

I am having an angioedema reaction and I have a big one on my hand so might not be around because its hard to type :(

Sooo sorry Julie, hope you are feeling better today (haven't read the rest of the pages yet, so premature post).

Glad to read all the updates and find everyone is better. I've been off for a few days fending of some NASTY Gastro virus here in our house. Our son was out of commission for 6 days, and now our hospital public health oficer says our town has had a small outbreak of Norwalk virus. Hope the baby does not get it.

Egads! Definitely hope the little one (or any of you) doesn't get it!!

  15. x!!!

    You're welcome!

    Good morning Donna and Rinne!

Thought I'd be the only one not sleeping in on a Sat. morning. :P

I usually try to sleep in until at least 5:00 a.m., lol, but this morning just quit fighting and got up at 4:00!

Me too Patti.....only the organic stuff from Whole Foods....its really expensive though considering I'm eating a pound a day. I'm eating $7 worth of beef everyday. I dont even wanna know how much that will add up to in a month....or a year even. :o

OMGosh! I spent more than $40 on ribeye steak (LOVE it, lol) and about $20 on ground beef this morning, lol.:ph34r:

I have swollen glands too....its chronic...been there the whole 4 years almost. Its mainly in my neck and head but also under my arms. The Bioset lady said that my lymphatic system is very affected by this. I asked her about TMJ and if it can be caused by Lyme. She said the lymphatic system is what the Lyme is getting into and so it ends up creating lots of problems with drainage and the joints and everything thats in that area where I have swelling and pain. She said it can get a whole lot worse if it doesnt get treated....there can be blockages and drainage problems and the Lyme can really get into the brain and stuff like that.

The lymph glands in my neck are always swollen. My old chiropractor used to tell me that on every visit. I haven't seen her for a year now, so not really sure if they still are...I DO think the ENT at Camino Medical said they were too....saw her much more recently. I'll ask the HN doctors too.

okay now remember girls, today, and let's not use any names here, but SOMEONE's :angry: - - -- well someone who broke my heart BADLY earlier this year - - - well his FAVORITE TEAM is playing today....and remember my joy, that they are having the WORST LOSING SEASON in their history :lol::lol::lol::lol: and it makes me extremely happy...and today, they're going to get their butts kicked by LSU......that is, if you all stick with me and keep cheering and sending your bad thoughts and prayers AGAINST the team.....:lol: because this is just a little thing that God is doing to make me, well, slightly titillated and smugly overjoyed. ;)

No R words here! Prayer said.:lol::lol:

Hi all, sorry for the speeding drive-by, but I have to run out now and get my 1 hour deep tissue massage, lol.

  16. Judy, I am sorry you are feeling so badly.

I think the problem with doctors within the system is that they are within the system and so even if they are good doctors and genuinely want to help you, the reality is they don't have the knowledge, experience or support within that system to do that.

How is everyone this morning? Donna, Andrea? and Miamia were you tested through a reliable lab for Lyme?

I have not been tested yet for Lyme...I probably will want to at some point though. I don't think I had a huge window of exposure, but I DID go on a 7 day hiking vacation in Vermont around 1994 or 1995, so that was right around the same time that all my dental work was being redrilled & refilled...I don't remember ever seeing any bites, but I really don't know if I would have noticed back then especially if it wasn't in a noticable place.

  17. x.

I might have gone on for years just feeling bad if it weren't for this thread where everyone has discussed what they know they have and what they suspect they have. I don't know if I ever would have thought seriously about adrenals or mercury if not for this thread. Yes, the idea is that once this mercury is out, my body can start to heal. Mercury can be stored in the tissue though, so even after the mercury is out, some sort of "detox" might be necessary. I'll be asking the dentist about that and also these new HN doctors about that part. There are therapies to get the metals out...Carla isn't that what you're doing the saunas for? or was that to get something else out...sorry, I can't seem to remember anything anymore. I do know that the receptionist told me a couple of pretty nifty stories about people who were having problems that were cleared up after having the mercury out (she didn't need to tell me stories, because I'd already decided to do this and had already set the appointment up).

I'm not actually far behind you on consumption of foods. I can easily go through 1/2 pound-1 pound a day of meat and I love beef! Makes me wonder how I survived veganism for 3 years and vegetarianism for 5 or so before that. My body didn't like it....I'm intolerant to vegetable protiens.

No wonder we get along so well. :P We'd probably have a lot of fun when we meet up. You and I would be in one corner eating huge amounts of food. Of course I only eat 2 meals a day....does that count? Unless my hubby is home to make sure I eat in the morning....that means the weekends I either eat 2 meals and a snack or 3 meals.

Then count me in the beefy club, lol. When my friends and I go anywhere to eat and the server asks what I want, they all say simultaneously "she wants a side of beef", lol.:lol::lol: Truly I eat a lot of it! One could say I RACHEL it, lol.

I returned tonight from Calgary, after spending the day in a 6 hour Hoffman Seminar on his Seven Levels of Healing.

    ...

Before I forget sardines are low in mercury,.

    ...

Rachel, it sounds like we had much the same test though the name of the company on my print out says BioMeridian and the report is called a Meridian Balance index. I showed wide bands of green bands as inflammatory but at least not red. All organs show stress, as do lymphatics, endocrine system, although now that I look at it in fact my small intestine looks balanced and I have been saying my digestion is working better. Food groups gluten although she said I didn't react much to barley and rye and could perhaps eat them again but not wheat, no dairy, no nightshades, no Guar Bean, MSG and hydrolzyed anything. No rice. :( Also looked at Lyme and saw Lyme.

Wow, the seminar sounds great! Very interesting! I think that when I was searching the Internet for BioSet, I saw some things about Merdians so perhaps they ARE similar. Hum, I don't know if I like sardines, lol. Can't say that I've ever had one though.

Susan (or anyone else interested), here is the link to the HN clinic website:

    Open Original Shared Link

  18. But at least hopefully we will ahve some more info to work with.

So good to hear from you...this is my feeling too. I don't mind going through the testing if it AT LEAST tells me what it's not, lol. [ETA: And, this is one of the problems with conventional doctors...I can't trust that the testing they did was thorough enough, as evidenced by teh comment Laura's doctor made about not ordering a bunch of tests! harumph, lol]

Susan, if you decide you want to see these doctors the place is called HealthNow, on Mary Ave in Sunnyvale. They have a website which I'll see if I can post a link to. You can also email them to ask a question plus they offer FREE consultations, my free consultation lasted at least 30 minutes I think. I emailed them way back in April to see what kind of food allergy testing they did, and one of the doctors emailed back and forth with me for a while after that. I get the sense that they MEAN it when they say they want to find the CAUSE of symptoms rather than just medicate them.

  19. Donna,

You must have seen Dr. Carrie??

I like her....she is very thorough. I remeber her talking to me about adrenals and having me stand up. In my case there wasnt much of a change like she was expecting....I dont really get dizzy standing up fast or anything like that. My adrenal test wasnt normal but not horrible either.

I asked the Bioset lady if some people just never get better from all this. She said most everyone shes treated has gotten better but in some rare cases a persons adrenals are so completely wiped out they just cant recover. She said I'm young and nowhere near that point so dont have to worry about anything like that. I think that would only apply to someone whos WAY worse off than any of us are. I think we can all recover from whatever is bringing us down as long as we figure out what it is. She said its normal for the adrenals to be stressed under the circumstances. My immune system is never ever resting...its fighting when I'm sleeping, fighting when I'm awake....it never stops fighting and its reacting to a gazzilion things on top of dealing with candida and Lyme so theres no way the adrenals wouldnt be stressed out.

Yep, Dr. Carrie and Dr. Cohen (Coen, Kohn, lol, not sure how to spell it). Both were great!

I am SOOOO interested in this BioSet lady...I may have you PM me her name, lol.

    RACHEL

I'm not in good shape tonight so forgive me.

    you posted--

My adrenal test wasnt normal but not horrible either.

did you tell me how and where you were tested??

If so i'm sorry i can't remember '4 days of water 'D' is killing me.

chrio put me on some supplement for leaky gut today

    i'll post later.

    have to go lay down.

glad your 'show and tell' is over and it went well

    you and renni..our Lymies..

    love

    judy

Oh Judy, I'm so sorry! Wow, sounds like you are really having a tough time. I'm really hoping you feel better this morning!

  20. Well, my appointment went well...the only bad part is that my medical history took so long the internist couldn't finish, lol. She had to use some of the chiropractor's time and still couldn't finish  He (the chiropractor), knocked on the door two or three times, and she kept saying...we're in the home stretch, and still we couldn't finish, lol. She is REALLY thorough, asked lots of great questions about my symptoms, and gosh, didn't make me feel stupid or brush off ANY of my symptoms. The only test she did today was for adrenals...looks like that's a given in my case. My blood pressure, which was actually a bit high for me today at 118/60, dropped to 105ish when I stood up, which she said indicated something to do with adrenals. I'm sure more testing will follow. Then the chiropractor guy came in and he was great too...didn't act like anything was wrong (considering we took up a lot of his time, lol). He tested me thoroughly on strength of different joints/nerve function (or some such thing). He is ordering xrays for my spine and neck, something my old chiropractor never did. I definitely have an issue with the neck.

So next week I meet with the physical therapist and I think the nutritionist and will finish with the Internist who so far is going to order an EKG (gosh imagine that...problems with heart racing, chest pains and she's the first one to suggest an EKG)...and will probably run lots more tests...I forgot to take all my papers with the testing I've had done so far, so she'll look those over to see if she can see anything there. I did take my lovely souvenier photos of my colonoscopy and endoscopy, lol.:lol: Doctors like that kind of thing don't they, lol.

With all that, I forgot to ask about supplementation for the mercury. :( There's Monday, lol.

  21. I guess The Dave has won all of you over...he seems to be good at this. :P

Yes, and very clever to get in good with your friends, even cyber friends, lol!

    Donna,

My doctor mentions taking vitamin c before shots.....wonder if that would go for the amalgam removal etc. Also helps with C.

I'll ask, lol. I'll ask the HN doctor I see today about what she thinks and I'll ask the amalgam dentist too.

OMG Rachel, you must be thinking what is Julie talking about

I went to track down some links with info on Bioset for Donna, and any others interested, and I realized that maybe you were confused by my posts. Frankly I am confused

I was going to have Bioset done by my acupuncturist, only no electronic mechanism used, just kinisiology or muscle testing and then the treatment, very much like NAET. This is why I was confused when you said you did bioset and the electronic testing as one in the same.

As I was reading along at the Bioset website it sounds like Bioset uses the electronic testing, computer software, etc., which this is very much like the Bioscan that I did do for several years.

I wonder what the difference is between Bioset and Bioscan??

Anyway, here is some info everyone:

I think I'm still confused, lol. Thanks for the websites...the first one is the one I came across the other day. There are a few in my area.

  22. Donna, you get the first quadrant out next week? Wow, that was fast. Are you on any supplements heading into the procedure? Best of luck with it all :)

Yep, they're quick, first quadrant next week. Sounds like they want to do them all in a short period of time. He say I will not feel bad because he will get as much of the vapor out as he can while he works on it cuz he doesn't want to breathe it either, lol.. I think I read on his website that the air is filtered to the outside (of the building), don't remember for sure now though. I'm thinking this one now, second one in January, lol. We'll see. He didn't say anything about supplements except to take selenium if I eat seafood and to eat more eggs, onion, garlic, etc. Don't like any of those, so not sure how well I'll do, lol.

    Donna,

If you look on page 1 or 2 of the thread there is a link to compounding pharmacies. There are a few in our area...I used the one on Forest....directly behind Valley Fair. I was getting my thyroid meds compounded since back in April when I thought maybe corn was causing all this. Just last week I went back to my old meds....obviously corn isnt the real problem for me and the compounded meds were more expensive so I was happy to switch back. :)

Cool, I seemed to remember the discussion, lol. Brain fog. Stupid brain fog. I don't think I have a problem with corn so probably don't need it much, still might though.
