Middle names??
Donna Joy? That is just so adorable! It goes with the smiley face.
Joy isn't really my middle name, and I'm pretty sure Marie isn't Julie's, lol. We did one of those 20 question get to know you quizes and you had to answer a bunch of questions to see how well you knew the other person...one of the questions was guessing what their middle name was, lol.

Donna, My ribs come out of whack sometimes too. I have to get them adjusted. It makes the middle of my back hurt - very annoying!
Yeah, that's just about where I was hurting...but it was slight off towards the right shoulder blade area.
Thanks Donna JoyYou're welcome Julie Marie.

Oh how FUN!!!! Andrea is coming to play with us!

Yeah, I'm still looking forward to the new site even if there aren't any new products...I'm geeky that way I guess, lol.
So today's revisit:
Hot Chocolate and Mistletoe. I applied lots of Hot Chocolate with my index finger and a little Mistletoe at the lash line with my pinkie, lol. Very nice. I'm really liking look with the finger application.
That, again, begged for mascara and eyeliner so I finished it off with a little mascara and some Starry Night as a liner.

Well, I couldn't find the email...I know I have the attachment saved at home, but apparently not at work. BUT, fortunately I have this thread, lol. I found my post from March in which I listed the amounts of the various things. Dr. S should have a copy (Anna faxed it to him) but just in case I wanted to have something in my hand, lol.
-
I have an appointment with Dr. S today...hoping he'll let me do a provoked challenge for metals!!! Pray, okay!
I'll have my "report" from Anna as to which chelation agents I tested well for, so I'm hoping he'll see that I can handle some of them! [ETA: shoot, just remembered I left the stupid thing at home...oh wait...Anna emailed it to me...okay off to see if I still have the email, lol.]
Rachel, I'm sorry. I posted that last post re: compounding your meds - and then saw that I was replying to a message from 2006! Feeling a little silly right now...Yep, as someone says, it happens at least once a month! Stick around and post with us!
I finally looked over the symptom list, have been avoiding it, I have 63 of the 75 symptomsWow, I thought my 47 was bad, lol!!!
maybe I should avoid the forum for awhile.Maybe its coming from myspace and not this forum. Think I have had it, carla and donna lol.I stayed home from work again...seems like I'm almost back to normal except for my voice. I was talking fine but then I end up on the phone for hours and my voice starts going again.I think tomorrow I should be mostly over it and back at work.
Hope you're feeling better today!
Maybe we should send Donna over to get your phone so you can rest your voice.haha....NEVER!!Donna....dont even try it.
Yeah, something tells me that even though I'm bigger, Rachel could take me!
(Although, me thinks I could possible get as far as the door with the phone)
Rachel, my throat was very sore like that with this, too. Now Morgan has it.Yeah, mine was really sore too, but that only lasted a couple of days...still the throat felt raw (but not enough to be very bothersome) almost the whole 3 weeks I had the thing.
Speaking of that evil cold/flu thing...I've been having pain in my shoulder blade area since then. Remember when I said the evil cough caused a pulled muscle in my chest and head...well, apparently I popped a rib. I've been seeing the physical therapist/chiropractor three times a week since I was sick to try to work out the pain...one of the chiropractors said I had a disc out...she adjusted me and it was fine...yesterday it was out again and another of the chiropractors said I popped a rib.
So be careful out there girls, lol. If you get sharp pain when coughing, go get that checked, lol.

I've had some of those symptoms...significantly better is the air hunger and heart palpitations. I actually haven't had that one in a long time now. I must admit that I have not had to live through a bad herx yet...my doctor is taking it so slowly with me that I have yet to experience that until the last few weeks. I got a nasty, evil hybrid cold/flu thing and that caused me to take a couple of steps backwards. The old extreme exhaustion returned along with a couple of other annoying symptoms. Those are finally getting better!
I see my LLMD today and I'm hoping he thinks I'm ready to do a provoked challenge for metals...we'll see, lol.

I think it's Brooke's time to go home. I liked her in the beginning, but now it seems like she lost her spark.
Yeah, that's it...the spark. Her eyes are different...it's like she is just tired of it all...kind of like she's given up or something.

I just saw your post on the Lyme Disease thread, but thought I'd search out this post too.
Stress (any kind...emotional, physical, good, bad, etc.) can definitely cause problems. My doctor (a lyme literate MD) really, really wants me to avoid stress...he even mentioned he'd like me to find a different job (I work for a law firm, lol). He wants me to make sure I get enough rest, not to overdo anything, to avoid foods and chemicals that I'm sensitive too, etc. If your body is fighting those things, it can't fight the lyme (and the other issues it causes) as efficiently.
In my case the lyme is really affecting my adrenal glands, thyroid and neurotransmitters (things like norepenephrine, epenephrine, melatonin, DHEA, etc.). So that really affects my ability to handle stresses.
I had been feeling so much better lately, but a few weeks ago I got a nasty cold that had been circulating around the office. That really seemed to set me back a step or two...
Do you know what lab they are using for the bloodwork? I was first diagnosed by alternative means, but then had blood testing done which confirmed that.

Welcome LittleMiss! Yeah, I've certainly been overwhelmed in the last year or two, so I understand the feeling! I can't read more than a couple of paragraphs without my eyes crossing...literally! My brain stops functioning after that, lol.
We're all still here, so go ahead and post any questions that you have.
It's been a long frustrating road for many of us, but there really is hope. I haven't started any aggressive treatment at all yet (doctor does not think my body can handle the antibiotics), so I've basically just been supplementing and doing herbal things, and I actually DO feel better than I did a year ago at this time.
I was diagnosed 1 year ago this week.

I'm HATING all the cold weather we've been having.
I want the 100 degree days to get here ASAP!!!
Yeah, warmer weather definitely, but 100 degrees...that's just crazy talk!
-
Rinne!!!! A restaurant, how exciting!!!!! Yes, get as much rest as you can, lol.
Since so many of us seem to have this cold, it must be able to be passed on over the internet....
It just dawned on my last night ... I spent 4 hours outside by the pool yesterday (11-11:30 in the sun, 2-4 PM in the shade, 4-6PM in the sun). Last year that would have sent me to bed for at least the rest of the day. I was completely heat/sun intolerant last year.
Yay on your progress!!!
You didn't catch that monster from ME, lol...I very thoughtfully stayed OFF the computer when I was sickest!
 Okay, so I emailed a couple of people, but hey, you still didn't catch it from me!
-
So those of you with sensitive skin that were debating the pressed powders (as I was), stop it.
!!! Yeah, I keep looking at those but then change my mind, lol.
I can't decide if I am looking forward to the new website anymore. If there's nothing new to be had, what's the point?I think I am still looking forward to it...it will give me something to keep myself occupied until the new colors and products are out, lol.
-
I really liked Sayesha last night. I cringed during Jason's song because I knew the judges wouldn't like it, but I really didn't think it was quite as bad as they made it sound, lol.
Yeah, I think Brooke has lost something. She had something in the beginning that seems to be gone now and I can't put my finger on it.
-
Okay, today's revisit: Good China and Comfy, both applied with fingers, lol. I did Good China all over the lids and then a little Comfy on the outside corner/crease. Looks pretty good and very natural.
-
Ever since I got sick, I am not able to keep a tan...I used to be SO tan, just naturally.
Me too! I am hispanic/Italian...I'm supposed to be dark, lol. I'm very pale.

Question...
When you guys are feeling tired, etc. but have things you need to get done, do you just rest and not do the things? Or do you push through and do the things you need to do, and rest later?
I'm trying to force myself to do school work, because I MUST get it done, but I just can't seem to get out of bed.
It depends on what it is, lol. If it's housework, it can wait until h@LL freezes over, lol. I save my energy for the really important stuff.
School work might fit into that category...I dunno.

Okay, hopefully I will remember to record this!!!!
No spreadsheet yet to remind me!!!
-
I keep putting the same two things in my cart, then deleting them, then adding a kit and adding THREE things to it, then deleting, lol. Sheesh!
-
I didn't watch....gaw! I guess I have to make a spreadsheet for the TV shows I have to keep track of!
-
OMGOSH!!!! THAT IS HILARIOUS!!!!!!! I LOVE it!!!!!!!!

Hello fellow addicts!
Today's revisit. Bird House. Very nice applied with finger, lol! In fact, my intent was to just wear foundation, blush a little eye color and lip gloss...no mascara or liner, but after getting the Bird House on it screamed, feed me, so I put on a little mascara, then a little In the Garden as a liner. Very nice, lol.
And, may I just say that I think Nick Nack has surpassed all others as my favorite blush, lol!
OMGOSH!!!!!! Just a few more days....!!!! Whooooppppiiiieeeee!
There is a thread on EM from someone saying that Carina posted a news blog that says the website is on schedule! Yay!

Rachel is right...I have a pretty good LLMD who tested me for all kinds of things in addition to Lyme.
I thought it might be helpful to list the symptoms I have or have had and the status (whether or not they've changed in the last year):
Never saw a tick bite or rash
Of the symptoms listed on the first page, these are the ones I
