  1. I've been happy with ALL the brushes except for the one angled brush that broke, lol. The premium eye shadow brush is okay, just not fluffy enough for my tastes, so I bought some at Sephora. Other than that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the long handled kabuki, the flat top brush, the fan brush, even the angled brow brushes (not the one with the comb--that's the one that broke for me, but fortunately I had two and the other one is holding up great).

  2. Quick drive-by to say hello! I was REALLY busy at work yesterday, so I couldn't get online...not really caught up yet either, but did see that Paula and Nyxie aren't feeling well...hope you are feeling better soon. Hope Paula didn't have to go to the hospital!

I'm feeling MUCH better this week...still really exhausted but at least no cold symptoms!

  3. My order came yesterday too...it was so flippin' busy at work that I couldn't get online to gloat.

The special blushes are interesting...Walkee Talkee is a nice pink, but the Summer Stroll looks like orange sherbert, lol. Not sure I'll be wearing that one anywhere, lol. I also ordered Theme Park, which is very nice...I'm wearing it today.

Tried the Lavender everywear lotion last night. VERY nice...too bad the jar is so small...but I figured out that one doesn't need much of it...still, it's a really small jar, lol.

Julie, thanks for the link...going there shortly!

Thanks Donna. How long did it last for you? At times this unrelenting pain just seems unbearable.

Sorry it took so long to answer! I'm trying NOT to get on my computer on weekends, and yesterday at work was just so busy I couldn't even breathe, lol. Anyway, the pain didn't last too long once I got on the meds. They say the earlier you get on them the better. I had waited until the last day of the 3-day window they recommend to go see my doctor. They say after that the nerve pain has a greater chance of lingering. How is for you now?

Hopefully I'm not traumatizing too many brains around here with all this heavy scientificness.

I was gonna put a *warning* with my link to the molybdenum/candida page..."Do not open if brainfogged....scientificness may cause a worsening of symptoms!" :o

Next time I'll be more careful. :)

Nah, I KNEW what it would be like before I went to the page, lol. I was just hoping my brain could handle it today. Dr. S and Anna both want me on molybdenum, so I've been taking it for nearly a year now.

Now, if I could only read that page and understand how it's been helping me.

Well....ok...I really would like to have more on my plate. Like maybe some spaghetti and meatballs...with a whole loaf of garlic bread. B)

Oh, you and me both! I really want penne pasta with meat sauce! I have some in my cupboard (the penne (tinyada), not the meat sauce, lol), but the darned stuff makes be blow up like a hot air balloon!

I would die if I had to figure out which foundation to wear with which blush.

and omg this is OT but there's a new Mango at celiac.com. Looks like the person joined today. This could get confusing.:huh::rolleyes::lol:

Well you are Mango to the 4th power, lol.

Yeah, it's not so much to figure out what foundation to wear with the blush, but rather when I can wear some of those not much used blushes, lol. Some of them (like Soft Touch) are on the borderline of being too light, but if I'm wearing the right foundation I LOVE how it looks, so since I can't remember from one time to the next what I was wearing when it looked good...SPREADSHEET.

  6. Yes, can't wait to hear about Rachel's appt today with Dr. S! I had to bookmark that link...I took one look at the first paragraph and knew I'd have to wait at least until next week to look at it again. :P

I can so relate, im so sick and trying to figure it out.

Aw Paula, I'm so sorry! I haven't been reading much...how is the water situation?

Donna so sorry you took a turn for the worse :(:(

Yeah, this is a bad one. You mentioned a few pages back about not "caring"...I was sort of in that same place BEFORE this bug hit, and now it's just magnified a bunch. I'm just tired. :P

  7. Not too much to catch up on...it's been rather slow here as evidenced by the fact that I had to talk to myself most of one day. :P

Okay folks...I see a new spreadsheet in my future.

I just can't remember what looks good with what. I remember liking Waffle Cone well enough, but wasn't WOWed by it the last time I tried it. I decided to try it today again with my Sunkissed Fair (but in Semi-Matte), and the waffle cone looked GREAT. So apparently the foundation color (or even formulation possibly) may make a difference in the way blush looks.

So, my project for today is to create a spreadsheet.

Is Weekend Getaway orange-ish in the slightest? Is Plum Dust too mauve-ish purple?

Yes, Chit Chat disappeared a couple of weeks ago...I hadn't ordered it yet. :(

I haven't tried Plum Dust, but Weekend Getaway was my first blush order. It's not a bad color, not to dark. I do think it is a bit orange, but it was subtle on me and didn't turn colors to that dark too orange thing that happens sometimes.

If you could only get one more blush that had to last the rest of your life, which one would you choose?

Nick Nack. Oh wait, maybe Pink Ribbon. Oh, the stress of having to decide!!!

Tip for the day: Do not attempt to use Mojave Camping as an eyeliner. It will make you look like you have been up all night taking Meth.

Does anyone have a rebounder? Julie I know you have one. When you use it do you get jarring headaches afterwards? Anyone? I do and I feel moody.

I have a rebounder...I sometimes get headaches, but not all the time. It's really supposed to stimulate the lymph system and probably indirectly the liver, so that could be it.

  10. And just so you know, I talk to myself all the time.

So, I liked the special and found enough stuff to order to get it, lol. It was a perfect chance to get some of the non makeup stuff I've wanted to try. Here's what I ordered:

Makeup Brushes & Accessories: Long Handled Kabuki Brush

Skin & Body: Chamomile Everyday Everywear 3oz tin

Blushes & Face Colors: Theme Park 2.5g

Skin & Body: Lavender Everyday Everywear 3oz tin

Makeup Brushes & Accessories: New 5 Flocked Sponge Pack 8 oz

Skin & Body: Cosmetic Wet Wipes 80 Wipes

Skin & Body: Rosemary, Basil, Lemongrass Cleansing Bar 3.2oz bar

Makeup Brushes & Accessories: Cosmetic Buds

Makeup Brushes & Accessories: Large Mixing Jar 8 oz

  11. You could look at the ingredient list and see what you think of the herbs. I think they are generally pretty safe, so you probably wouldn't hurt anything unless you are sensitive to one of the ingredients. There are some who think that everyone should do this periodically...I don't know if I'd go that far, but I think anyone who has any kind of chronic digestive/intestinal issues probably has some susceptibility to bugs.

I have or order more...it's time for my second round. :)
