  1. Miss you too! Nope, I'm good on the many days in a row thing.
  2. Ha, won't be a problem if I get there BEFORE you, lol. I love me some buffet!
  3. Well, nothing new and intriguing, lol. I'm having top sirloin steak with brussells sprouts sauteed in olive oil and garlic. That's it, that's about all I can eat.
  4. I slept much better last night. My phone in my room is turned off, but I guess one day I must have turned the volume up on the one downstairs and I could hear it even over my sound machine. Stupid yahoo! I slept very well last night thankfully. All phones which need to be off are off and the volume on the one that needs to be on is on low now, lol...
  5. Don't be afraid to say what you need. Having said that, I usually try to pick something I like that is naturally gluten-free. For instance, I love steak, so I look for a steak, and ask about any marinades, seasonings. I ask them to leave off any bread and ask if it's possible to get more steamed veggies...I also ask about seasonings on the veggies. If...
  6. Yeah, that's a tough one...it really depends on how much you (or family, etc.) needs that diagnosis. Some family members have a hard time being strict enough if there isn't a firm diagnosis. I don't have one, but I too saw improvement after going gluten/casein free and that's enough for me. Fortunately my friends and family also accept it and are very...
  7. Great, I'll look again at my Whole Foods for the tea...I don't think I looked at the Traditional Medicinals.
  8. Yes, as it seems you are a magnet for those nasty little ticks, lol. Resorts are always nice! Just read somewhere around pages 200-400, lol. That'll catch you up. Wow, the whole day sounded GREAT!!! I'm so excited for you!!! And, it's really great that all these people know and work together, so your treatment will...
  9. Yes, I've hard of Pao d'arco, but actually haven't found it yet. I've heard that recommended a lot. Also coconut oil is supposed to be very good. Is the hemp for the candida or is that just for some protein? Did your NP recommend that? I've seen it at Whole Foods and was curious but don't know much about it.
  10. Oh, I agree, it was fun to go back...we can't go back in this thread but we can go down memory lane, lol. Fun!!! Random would be fun too! It'll be like a surprise. We'll just log on one day and see a random "clip" of the Rachelville history. I could use that after the last few days. I'm a bit down today. But also a bit happy...
  11. Well, yes, mold can grow quickly. I've never been gone as long as a week, but I know it doesn't take long. An example, I eat nut butters, when the jar is empty I fill it with water to soften up the left overs so I can rinse it out clean for recycling. I usually leave it in the sink with the cap on while I let it soak. One day a couple of weeks ago, I...
  12. and just for Mia....as the BioSET Turns... Well, I told you all I DIDN'T have a BioSET appointment today, which was true, until this morning, lol. I got a loaner car for the day while they fix mine, and had planned to pick up a supplement at BioSET that I'm supposed to be taking to detox staph, but they've been out of it for a few weeks. I went early...
  13. Aw Judy, so sorry you still haven't found the answers! I think our immune systems are definitely not working they way they should, lol.
  14. Nope, I wear it the way I like it, or rather, I wear it the way it is easiest to take care of for me. I don't like short hair on me, and since my hair grows REALLY fast, it's too much of a bother to have it short--I'd have to have it trimmed every 3 weeks or so, so I keep it shoulder length and that's how I like it, lol.
  15. Now THAT would have scared me if you posted that before you felt better! You got it! Shssh! Hum, nah, that can't be it, lol. I'm probably the most confused by it all (except maybe Susan) and I haven't been scared off.
  16. You little closet lymie you!
  17. Hey girls, I invited Jesscarmel over cuz she just found out she may have candida, so I told her that many of us here have the same issues.
  18. Here are a couple of links for candida diets: Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link
  19. Oh, and don't try to read from the beginning, lol...just jump in and ask a question...I think on the second to last page, I posted a couple of links to candida diet sites...I'll repost them here too. One of the posters on the thread (NoGluGirl) has actually written a paper on candida, so probably has some good research stuff.
  20. Oh yes! I basically eat just beef, turkey, eggs, broccoli, green beans and brussels sprouts, and a little tomatoe. I also have a lot of food intolerances, so that's why I'm so limited in what I'm eating now. I don't eat any sugar, not even good carbohydrates (most of which I am intolerant to anyway), until this is under control. The only sweetener I...
  21. YES!!! You must have missed my post about what they told me about taking more than your body can handle. Yay, me too! Hum, I don't have an appointment for tomorrow (getting my car fixed instead), but do have to go pick up a detox supplement they finally got back in stock, so maybe I'll ask the receptionist if she knows anything...
  22. Yes, I've done two saliva tests, one for adrenals/hormones and one for thyroid. The thyroid came out normal, but the adrenals/hormones were way out of kilter. I'm also battling candida, so you've got company. I think many here are battling candida at the moment...some of us talk about that on the OMG (800+ page) thread, lol.
  23. Point taken. Ha, my little silver honda is a '99 too! I also have to take mine in to fix the struts (that's correct, I haven't taken care of that yet) this Saturday...I was waiting for my bonus to fix it.
  24. I only watched (sort of) for the first hour...it was too painful to watch, lol. I DID like Melinda's performance though. I couldn't watch Sanjaya at all...that was excruitiating.
  25. You're welcome. Zucchini should be fine as far as the candida diet. Wish I could eat it, lol. I have so many intolerances now, I'm slightly better off than Rachel...mine don't cause horrific immediate reactions, they are stealthy and cause delayed reactions and seem to have a cummulative affect. The only veggies I'm eating now are broccoli, brussells...
