  1. Mini rant warning, lol: So yesterday was my monthly allergy shot day. I've been having reactions for the last few months, and I've told them this and they've adjusted the dosages, etc. Last month was the first month at the lower dosage, but I still had a reaction. I get very itchy at the shot site, with a raised red spot about the size of a half-dollar...
  2. I think I read the same site, lol. Yes I think alginate and algin are the same thing. I think I looked at the ingredients online and saw that it said alginate (at least I think that's what I remember, lol). Yeah, I still need a schedule for my stuff and I'm not taking nearly as much, lol. Fortunately HN started me off with a schedule and...
  3. Don't much like bees either although I am not as enthusiast about relocating them, lol. I have to use stealthy techniques, which usually involve a lot of bug spray and then running like crazy. Spiders...also not one of my favorites. So, I was at Disneyworld in December. My friend and I found a really great bench to sit on to watch the fireworks...
  4. Yes, unfortunately that can happen. It may be just that you were killing off the candida too quickly...when they die they leave myotoxins which can make you feel pretty bad in large numbers.
  5. Hello and welcome!
  6. I am an admitted germ freak...not in my house...that's something like a pig's sty, lol, but I can't stand anything on my hands and if I touch something in public I have to wash my hands. I'm trying to NOT be so neurotic about it, as I agree with everything said here, but how the heck do you get over THINKING about the germ thing, lol. Some of the neuroticness...
  7. Okay, I think that would have scared me to death, lol. Well, I don't LOOK for them, but if I find them they are relocated quickly. I don't feel bad about it either. Do I go poking around in an ants nest....NOOO I go and buy my own food...they can do the same. They enter my condo at their own risk. Now, I may have quite the scolding...
  8. I'm not sure how long, but I have some other issues which encourage candida, so I'll be on this for several months. A couple of years ago I only did it for 3 months and felt great during that time, but problems came back as soon as I went off of it. I ocassionally have a half piece of fruit with a meal, but not often and only half. ETA: and I usually...
  9. Here is a website that explains the saliva test: Open Original Shared Link I've heard that it can change from day to day, so I don't know how accurate it really is. ETA: By-the-way, I don't use threelac and have heard conflicting things about that too, but this was a nice easy explanation of the spit test.
  10. I've heard mixed things about that particular test, but don't really know how reliable it is to tell you the truth. The biggest thing you can do naturally is cut out or drastically down on the sugars. Cut out all simple sugars for sure. Remember that all starches turn to sugar so limit the good carbs too. I'm being very strict and am eating basically...
  11. Of course there are always risks involved with any procedure, but this is generally safe. I had three endoscopes done last year within just a 3 month period and it really wasn't bad. Every doctor has their own way of doing things, but I was completely out of it during the procedures. Each time I went in, I was taken to a "presurgical" area where I...
  12. Oh Laura, your evening sounds fun!!! Thanks for the update Christina.
  13. Here's my plan for today: Breakfast was: Turkey sausages and a supplement cocktail (some vitamin C crystals, a little modified citrus pectin, some detox drops, chlorella and a little stevia to taste, lol) Mid morning snack: egg salad Lunch: ground beef and broccoli Dinner (actually early afternoon): NY steak, sauteed (in olive oil) brussells...
  14. It's really good to hear from you even if it was a bumpy ride, lol! I think about you from time to time when I come across one of your older posts.
  15. Yes, I agree completely, lol.
  16. Happy Birthday!!!
  17. Wow, was Sanjaya scarey or what, lol. I couldn't even watch again...the hair and the song just didn't go together. Overall I thought everyone was pretty good. I think I don't like Chris S's attitude (although it was a bit better last night). Even Ryan questioned whether Melinda could still be surprised by the judge's good comments, lol. ...
  18. Don't know what it means, but it's only hurt in the last week or so...could be from the B vitamins or the chlorella or completely unrelated to any of that, lol. Maybe it's the descending colon that Patti mentioned. Oh no, I hope I don't have an alien baby episode. Yes, and a friend (TheDave) of Rachel's also pops in from time to time. ...
  19. Yes, I still have my left ovary...and after I posted I looked up a couple of things one of which said something about ovary...thankfully it's not bad pain and it's not constant...just happened a couple of times today. Ants love to swarm my condo. I get swarms everywhere...even in the bathroom. That's why I developed my excellent relocation...
  20. Happy Birthday!!!!
  21. No shock or dismay from me over killing, ur, I mean relocating the ants. Re faith...I was raised in a catholic setting, but never really understood or knew God and never remember hearing much about Jesus...it was a long string of events that brought me to where I am now. I attend a non-denominational church who teach straight from the Bible. I've...
  22. Yah, I think you'd know it if it were shingles. Me too, lol! Yes, this is one reason why I haven't taken any antifungals...you (or someone else) posted something like this before and so I've been afraid to kill the candida too aggressively...I'm content to starve it out as much as I can until I get the metals under control. ...
  23. Okay, here's a good site for shingles: Open Original Shared Link and I highlighted the last sentence. Figures. The thing with bedsheet or moving air is right on though...even if my clothing rubs on my skin it burns...yesterday it was my hair on my neck.
  24. Mine was from chicken pox (is that the right one, lol)...when you have chicken pox the virus lays dormant inside you and latter in life stress, trama, surgery, etc. can bring it out in the form of shingles. It's related to herpes. Somewhere around 1999 or so, I had terrible back pain...it was horrible, then I broke out in a rash in a band around my lower...
