  1. Good Sunday morning, all! Wow, Peter, what a busy day for you guys yesterday. I would love to see your store...we are heading to Brantford the end of the month for hockey tournament, but that's probably a bit far to be travelling between games. I'm in T.O. a couple of times through the summer, so I will stop in, for sure. Gasp! An evil...
  2. Gawd, it's true...if it wasn't lacy, flowing sleeves we were reminding him to watch, it was a long, billowing beard, or these enormous gossamer wings, or an incredible Sumo-belly...we just had to be ready for anything...... Poor Susie!...been thinking about you today. Miss your guffaws...these meek chortles will simply not do...... ...
  3. Just interested to know how common my husband's testing experience is with other s who have gluten problems. I know that many on the forum have been positively diagnosed through Enterolab; this is where DH got his diagnosis as well, with high numbers for the Antigliadin IgA and Antitissue transglutaminase IgA, and a Fecal Fat score that is "severely elevated...
  4. Tom! This arrangement of emotimaterial is quite striking....an intentional stab at representational art? Hmmm...Electric guitar? Slegehammer? Wait, wait....Toppled-over yield sign? I like this game much more than dastardly-uncle-pungames!!!
  5. GAD! On your birthday? This is much heinosity...... Ya should've had some East Indian stew, as it can help you concentrate...particularly if it has laminate. This sounds most logical. Early film suckage.... Mygawd....Lego interpretations of such classic comedic material?! Bah! 'Tis sacrelige!! ...
  6. I, too, am type one and celiac. In North America it's actually one in eight.....
  7. Happy Birthday, Colleen! You are an Aquarius.... Those born under the sign of Aquarius not only march to a different drummer, they make up new music as they go along. They are 'mind oriented' individuals, whose thoughts never stop tick-tocking. Because of their high focus on intellectual exploration, many inventors, eccentrics and highly original trailblazers...
  8. Yes, we have one, too....Wiarton Willie. Haven't yet heard what his results were. Peter, did he see his shadow? Well, speaking of Oracle Peter, DS came up to me this morning and asked me something quite thought-provoking, and I immediately looked blank and said, "Okay. This is one for the Oracle": How come in very old photographs, no one is ever smiling...
  9. Kinnikinnik makes absolutely delicious bagels and english muffins (brace yourself for the cost, though!) You can order from them online, and they deliver.
  10. Happy Saturday, all! Wow, we got 32 cm of heavy snow yesterday. That meant quite a shovelling session last night, and now I'm not even walking like my Mom, but like my Dad...... So, has he seen his shadow? Crap, I hope not....Six more weeks of this?
  11. Hey!....I know when I'm outta my league... Actually....... I had a great-uncle who was rather a hateful old drunk, and among several demented verbal exercises, he was obsessed with making puns. I mean obsessed. And they'd get progressively stupider the more he went on. To this day, I kinda feel my stomach tighten when I hear a pun beginning.... ...
  12. What I can advise is this: Resist the temptation to purchase blushes at this moment. I will be coming out with three mesmerizing, delicious shades at the end of next week, to round off our Spring Collection. I promise that it will be well worth your wait. Look for these luscious newcomers: Hint of Sphincter Pink...
  13. Yes...People often get to know me, and then everything changes... Yeah.....this can quite easily slip my mind at times. I believe he came home from the studio for a quick dinner dressed as Gaylord once. Full makeup, flowing platinum wig, enormous false teeth, huge, bug-eyed glasses...we were such a jaded family by this time that it was...
  14. All, right, all right. Calm yourselves, my children. I am here to share in the beautious experience that is cosmetics. Shall we pray together?
  15. This is too funny... I've just posted some fairly serious stuff on newbie threads. Can you imagine what they immediately think when my response, with this avatar, flashes on the screen? "Whoooooooaaaa....I ain't encouraging communication with this hermaphrodite-type freak....." **Not that there's anything wrong with that...at all. My apologies...
  16. ....Now, there is cult leader material..... ....Guess Gaylord Bolero should make an appearance in front of his followers...
  17. Oh, Gawd.... Okay, it's downloaded. Now I have to shrink it to website-friendly size.....
  18. Mygawd, he was just so...........insipid? Don't know the word. Gotta think of a good tag line to go with this av. Scanner is not downloading it. But I'm close......
  19. Happy Birthday, Nikki's little boy! (Wouldn't that just drive him nuts if he heard it?) ' At least you haven't a fever, Susie...Pull Annie up to you and languish a'bed. 21. Morning, Sillies... Oh, boy, Peter...are you snowed under? I'm guessing that huge winter storm is right over you as we speak. It's starting here at lunchtime. Dunno about taking an old man with a walker out in blinding snow squalls and ice pellets, veering off the 417, to his surgery. May have to postpone this one.... Sarah! Hope you...
  22. Uh oh.........I, uh........posted my last name........that's...um...... Not a good thing.....?
  23. OMG!.... Was chatting with my dad this evening, as I'm accompanying him to the hospital tomorrow for day surgery (on his eye--nothing serious). I was filling him in on the latest news from Sillyville, and I always preface things by telling him that he is an honoUrary citizen. He was asking about what other subjects come up on different threads, and I...
  24. Susie, just throw 'em back whole...Although perhaps smashing them up may cause the hallucinogenic properties to be released more freely.... Do you have any rolling papers? How 'bout smoking them? I have often wondered about the origin of this word. Why a horn reference to describe this....feeling? ...a stuffed...
  25. Well, finding out if you have diabetes, type one or two, involves a simple blood test. You'll have your answer in ten seconds. If your bs is higher than 7 up to an hour after a meal, you likely are having insulin-related problems. Some pharmacists will test your blood with one of their metres, and you'll have a good idea right then and there. Symptoms...
