  1. I thought the same about many nutrients, but malabsorption is one of the first effects of Celiac. Again, I'll be trying the blend of stuff I mentioned, and post the results. If it works, then it's not sugar.

  6. I just looked up the ingredients for Gatorade, and it looks like mostly sodium and potassium for the nutrients. There is citric acid too, which does enhance absorption.   7. A number of the symptoms listed in relation to neuropathy are also symptoms of certain nutrient deficiencies. Some of the more obvious ones including vitamin B12, magnesium, and zinc.   11. I also drink a lot of water, which is all I drink except for orange juice to cover the taste of some supplements. I figure the thirst is related to an electrolyte imbalance. Salt helps somewhat, though not enough. I've read magnesium helps boost absorption, and taking this does help, though again it's not a total fix. Slowly, it seems the thirst is lessening...

    I got rid of all pain by avoiding all nightshades, and taking magnesium and a sublingual methylcobalamin (B12) supplement. This may or may not help, but it's certainly worth a try, and can't hurt!
