  1. It is very frustrating! I had gained a bunch of weight because I was on prednisone. Now that I am gluten-free I have gained even more! I know it is because I am absorbing the nutrients now but it is frustrating! Hang in there. For me I feel so much better that I would rather be heavier than not able to get out of bed.
  2. At Trader Joes. We just got one here last week. They also have the food for life rice bread for $2.49!!
  3. I have not tried old dutch as of yet but they are all over the place here in MN.
  4. Have you tried this?? It is sooooo good and cheap!! I can't belive their prices!
  5. My daughter and I react to them as well.
  6. So glad that you had a great trip!!
  7. We have never had a problem with them.
  8. OMG! We had the best dinner last night! It was so good and we did not get sick! We met the manager at the Celiac walk and they were passing out menus. She too has Celiac and said she has made sure that everyone understands it well! So if you live in MN or are ever here visiting you have to stop by one of their 2 locations! Open Original Shared Link
  9. Nope, I have eaten other soy things and even soy milk and never had a problem. Just that scrambler 2x. But I did buy them the same day so maybe a bad batch?
  10. I make stirfry a lot, different noodle casseroles, Chicken with potato flakes on it then bake, nachos, enchiladas, meatloaf. Really most things are adaptable.

    ARCHIVED Neuropathy

I had terrible neuropathy in my hands and feet and was almost dx'd with MS, but all of my symptoms are gone completly now that I am gluten-free.
  12. Both my daughter and i were neg but clearly can't have gluten. If we get the slightest cc we are very sick. Neither of us ate that much gluten prior to testing though.
  13. The tofu scrambler has gotten me 2x. But my daughter and I eat the mac and cheese, pizza, shepards pie and hot tamale pie with no problems.
  14. It made my hair fall out in shampoo! Def not safe!
  15. My daughter and I have had no reactions to them.
  16. I have been eating those for years and now that I am gluten-free at least once a week and have not had any problems with them. Sorry! I hope you feel better fast!
  17. It may be the Kettle chips. They said not to eat them if you have Celiac because they are cc and not gluten free. I would eliminate those and see what happens. I called and checked on the Cherry limeade and was told it was gluten-free. My daughter and I drink it with no problems at all. good luck!
  18. It is really up to you. I really did not care if I had the dx or not. I just wanted to feel better. My daughter was on the diet and doing much better so the likelyhood I would be the same was great. I was almost dx'd with ms and felt to sick to consider the biopsy. I have been gluten-free for 5 months now and feel great!
  19. Hugs and prayers for you and your family!!
  20. Love all of them except for the mole one!
  21. I am nost sure if I have celiac but at the least gluten intolerance. I also have micropscopic colitis. And many people deal with colitis with a gluten free diet. Don't quote me but I have read that Microscopic colitis is on the same gene as celiac. Not sure but if you do have colitis you could still need to be gluten-free to control it. Good luck!!
  22. Thanks! That is good to know that it is ok!
  23. It is good and worth it to have on hand in a pinch. I have gotten it at Target for cheaper. But they are the same price you paid at my co-ops.
