    My son really likes Westsoy rice milk. When we can't get that we use Shoprite brand and he is fine with it. The Westsoy just seems to be a little thicker and more white which makes it really look more like milk.

    Hi, Enterolab is a specialty lab that helps to diagnose food intolerances. It is not done through blood. For genetic testing they take a swab from in the mouth.     I teach kindergarten and I have several in my class this year who write there numbers backwards in the exact same way. They can ask me "how do you write 24?". And I will respond first you write 2 and then a 4 but when I look at what they have written it will say 42. I wouldn't be that concerned about that but her other symptoms sound like they could be...

    What I have asked of my son's teacher is to send a note home asking that no parent bring in food without advanced notice. This way I get a chance to get anything in the house I may need.     I have not done the trial yet, I was waiting to see the doctor first. He said he would biopsy for celiac while in there so I don't want to take him off until then. If it comes out negative I will do the trial. Thank you for the help. Nicole

    Thank you for all the support, it is nice to know I am not over reacting. This actually opened my eyes to the fact that now that Jacob is getting older he might be more willing to cheat.     I also just bring a cupcake and pizza for him. I don't even call ahead to ask if it is ok, I feel like they are still getting their money for my kid being there why should they care if he needs special food. I have never had a problem with him getting cc from play areas. Nicole

    Yes, even if the doctor says he tests negative I would still try the diet. And I feel as though with him not having the "celiac gene" and in the past he has been negative for antibodies, he will most likely be negative.
